When speaking to corporate service they say that these items are also wear and tear despite there being so little tear. In the platinum package brochure they make mention of "it being easier to say what is not covered" and do not exclude sensors or tubes in the brochure. After a quick Facebook search for issues with EcoSport's it seems that this has many reports from other owners. I tried to speak with corporate supervisor and was placed on hold where they then hung up on me. It seems that when I pointed out that this might be a car issue they became defensive. I believe this is a bigger issue for this vehicle and this engine. If my car fails at 19,000 miles what is to say other failures are not related.Read more

There were no prior indicators, the engine light suddenly came on when the car idled and riding on the highway at 35-40 mph was not very fun or safe. We've left the vehicle in the garage since the malfunction as is since we had other vehicles until we saved funds for the fix. We just didnt think it'd be this high of a cost and granted the car is only 98,800 miles in, i just dont understand how this all could be when my honda accord is 255k and still in good shape with no major fixes... So me and my wife took to the highway, and as my vehicle began to accelerate the engine began jitter as I press on the gas peddle. The car would not go past 50 mph. As I kept my feet on the gas you can feel the whole car shaking, then the ec
... o boost kicks in and it immediately accelerate at a high rate of speed and as attempt to control the speed by letting go of the gas. The vehicle shakes as it looses power and settles on 50 to 60 miles shaking until the eco boost kicks in. It was a two hour ride and I couldn't look back just pray. Through out the ride it was the same thing over and over again. My wife and I were in constant fear, because I felt due to the erupt increase in speed I was putting other motorist at risk. The engine light came on and a wrench symbol and tire symbol came on. The component or system that failed or malfunctioned involves the eco boost. It appears to be the same recall reference NHTSA # 24V-635 & Manufacturer: # 24S55. My vehicle presently has 78,000 miles on it and it should not be doing that. I have also looked at other problems with the 2016 Ford F-150 Ecoboost as being the web belt system and head gasket failure. However, whatever is the case anyone with this type of vehicle and experiencing the same thing is catastrophic the public safety at large and it cannot be ignored. We bought the car from a Toyota dealership used, and they should have fixed this before selling the vehicle. Complete negligence and a huge safety issue. I am having trouble with the gas pedal. When you push the gas petal it makes a sound under neath the Hood. The car does want to move and when I push the gas pedal again it sounds real bad. The sunroofs have a drain which sometimes can plug up. This car was maintained several times a year since purchase by Toyota dealer. ... nitor failing randomly, the seat belt warning lights might or might not work, the airbag safety system fails, sometimes the whole instrument dash acts erractic including random on/off blinking, the tire pressure monitoring system fails. All these problems can occur before owner is ever aware of the problem. Since one of the items that is getting corrosion is a fuse block - potential fire while parked in a garage or while being drive is a possibility. In an accident failure of air bags can result in a fatality. I'm an engineer, so when things started blinking on dash - I took pictures or had another occupant take pictures. I showed them to the dealer service - they didn't make the connection with corrosion on the body computer that monitors and manages all the systems including the anti-lock and rollover system. It's in for repair at dealer now, now idea on the cost - but they've said damage is extensive AND we caught it before most people encounter it. I checked and could find no Toyota Service Bulletin that warned to look for the problem, repair techs had vehicle for week trying to find problem - and it took me insisting on looking for corrosion before they found it. This should result in: 1)Toyota special service bulletin to inspect every year and verify sunroof drain not blocked. 2) read diagnostics codes of the body network computer for issues, 3)Toyota special service recall to repair damage free to customers.Read more

Issue: engine and electric system completely shut off randomly while vehicle is driving. ... ing the "battery current sensor" and I believe it is the system that controls the "dynamic" alternator system. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The vehicle loses all power and lighting. This causes me to pull over without power steering and power brakes. This could happen at any time Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? The dealer has read the code but refuses to work on it without a brand new OEM battery. This first occurred with an OEM battery, and I replaced with one and the problem still happens. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Only the dealership, who was useless. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No indicators the driver would be able to see. The check engine light is NOT on. When scanned via the OBD2 sensor, the Nissan specific code is thrown, but you obviously have to have the correct tool to see this.Read more

No precursors and vehicle always followed recommended maintenance. Started vehicle and began making knocking and screeching sound which grew increasingly louder, followed by the engine light flashing. Immediately pulled over and had vehicle towed. Gunn Honda ran diagnostics and determined engine failure originating in the lower engine.

Visible signs of cracks that are now getting rust in them on side of frame in the back. Major popping and cracking noises coming from the front of the frame while loading the weight of the RV on and off the truck. Side cabinet doors opening random times during transport. Now getting major creaking noises in the bedroom area in the front of the RV on the floor.
