I am not claiming the airbag malfunctioned as the speed at the moment of impact was not high. They have repeatedly told me that it is fully operational based only on the fact that the system registers as "on." Being "on" does not mean it is functioning. Questions: What component failed? ... n severely injure an adult/baby/pet. Twice this was replaced by my insurance company that I pay a pretty hefty premium on. I have been in contact with American Honda and they seem to be aware of the issue but only offer to possibly issue a onetime good faith reimbursement for one window which does not resolve this safety concern from happening over and over again. In 2022, the glass was replaced and the vehicle had to be taken to a body shop for the remaining glass to be vacuumed out and a solution applied to catch the remaining glass that rattled in the hatch. Only 90% was removed. In 2024 the glass was replaced 2 times as the first one was a defect and appeared wavy when driving. The glass went everywhere when being replaced all over my garage and driveway. The glass shop could only clean/vacuum so much. The glass continues to fall out of the tailgate when the hatch is opening/closing or when just pulling out of the driveway onto the road. When contacting American Honda they refused to pay for the tailgate to be vacuumed and solution applied and informed that I need to contact my local dealer. When I contacted my local Acura dealer they were willing to do the service but for a fee. American Honda currently has a class action lawsuit out of California for this issue. The only resolution is to replace the entire tailgate. Please take this into consideration and hold American Honda accountable for their actions of negligence in keeping their very loyal customers safe and demand they issue a recall for all vehicle owners as our safety depends on it.Read more

I am writing this letter out of frustration regarding my HR-V Continuously Variable Transmission failure and dealer response. The week of Thanksgiving, my wife’s HR-V dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. I brought the car to my mechanic and he said I needed a new transmission. I called the local Honda (Kastor) Dealership in Napa, CA where I expressed my frustration. I asked specifically abo

Subsequent to that call and after I had given direction to my mechanic to replace the transmission, I discovered this Honda Notice online: [XXX] The notice extends the warranty for the CVT for seven years. I called the Kastor dealership back and spoke with Santiago Pizano. Mr. Pizano advised me that if I got the vehicle fixed at the dealership Honda would reimburse me for 50%- 75% of the cost. The catch is I had to get the transmission replaced at the dealership and then ‘Larry’ would authorize the credit. I asked Mr. Pizano two questions. First, why I was not advised of this opportunity when I called on the 25th of November. Mr. Pizano researched my call and advised it was because I asked about recalls on my car’s transmission and I did not ask about credit for a transmission replacement. Apparently, I needed to phrase my question specifically to i) know about the CVT issue and ii) ask for reimbursement for the replacement. I then asked if I could speak with the person who makes the decision as to whether reimbursement is provided to a customer. Mr. Pizano advised that the person’s name is Larry, but I could not get his contact information. The cost of the new transmission was $7,667.77. It is outrageous that I was not advised about the Honda reimbursement or given Larry's contact info. Additionally, the inaccurate speed readings can affect other vehicle systems, such as collision alerts, adaptive cruise control, and braking systems, which rely on accurate speed data to function correctly. For example, collision alerts may not activate in time, adaptive cruise control may not maintain safe distances, and braking systems may not respond appropriately to speed changes. Furthermore, the driver display includes a light that indicates when the vehicle is exceeding the detected speed limit for the current area, which is rendered unreliable due to the inaccurate speedometer. Additionally, the console only displays speed in kilometers per hour (km/h) with no option to switch to miles per hour (mph), which is problematic for North American vehicles and other countries that use mph. The low fuel light also comes on with 20 miles left, which could be related to the same calibration issue affecting the speedometer and other systems. The problem has been reproduced and confirmed by an independent service center. However, the vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives. If you can give me a link I can't send or upload about 50 videos. I think all around to use the center counsel because hazardous design as to how to use a feature - it's a massive safety issue and hazard. I believe that many owners have been in accidents and caused damages and perhaps deaths. Porsche will not respond after the first call a few months ago. I was told by a dealer to contact the BBB - they told me that Porsche cars of America has a D minus rating and never has responded to customer complaints. This is not about my Harley. This is about the Tesla cyber truck. The bumper extends out past the hood and creates a shelf that collects snow or other debris and blocks the headlights. The front drive car seat motor is damaged. It will not recline making it very uncomfortable to drive. GMC has inspected the car and indicated that i need a new motor and seat frame. The cost is over 2600. Child safety is ultimately at risk if the driver is not fully comfortable at the wheel.

I bought the 2014 Fusion in 2019 used. It had roughly 60 some thousand miles. I had to replace the motor at 94 thousand miles. Now at 131 thousand miles, I am faced with the same issue and need to replace the motor again after only 37 thousand miles. From what the dealer said (Copper Country Ford in Houghton Michigan) both issues have been coolant leaking into the cylinders and killing the motor.

It was snowing day, I drove in a local road around 10mph. When facing with a curve, I hit the brake yet the snow cause the tail tilted to the curb. Three of the passenger side airbags exploded and no body damage was detected. I'm not sure if the speed was fast enough for the airbags to deployed.
