The contact owns a 2021 Toyota Corolla. The contact discovered brake fluid on the clutch pedal, and the brake pedal was mushy while depressed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the brake master cylinder needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 89,900.

We purchased a brand-new Toyota Sienna Hybrid in April 2025 and were informed in October 2025 that there was a safety recall on the vehicle involving the rear seats and that we cannot drive the van with our kids in the back seat. This rendered the van unusable for us. We have been told on several occasions that that there currently is no remedy for this safety issue.

We purchased a brand-new Toyota Sienna Hybrid in April 2025 and were informed in October 2025 that there was a safety recall on the vehicle involving the rear seats and that we cannot drive the van with our kids in the back seat. I’m concerned that my transmission was defective. My vehicle has 94K miles and was told by dealer I needed a new transaxle. We have never used our vehicle to tow or ever been stuck. It just doesn’t make sense why it would be defective. I was able to locate a Toyota bulletin regarding this.

2018 Toyota Highlander Platinum started with a whine noise, vibration, and went into limp mode. The transmission has been noted to needing to be replaced. I am currently at 75,453 miles and started to hear the whine at around 65,000 miles. This car is not safe to drive.

My frame is rotting, with literal holes in it. I spoke with a dealership and they stated the recall had been fixed in 2015, prior to me owning it. I was told to contact the manufacturer and they said it would be an out of pocket expense. When I research the recall, the affected area of the frame is the same, with no apparent fixes.
