Incident date: Mar 1, 2024
Immediately after the driver started the car, many notifications popped up on the dashboard including: cross traffic system fault, service vehicle soon, full accessory power active, hill start assist not available, service AdvanceTrac, Engine Coolant Over Temperature, and Cross Traffic System Fault. The gauge showed fuel empty and other dashboard indicators were illuminated such as engine, batter
... y, oil, seatbelt, airbag, faulty blindspot monitoring, and traction control. Driver took pictures of these notifications and indicators for documentation. Driver turned off the car and discovered recall # 25S02 for the vehicle. Owner recognized the notification explosion from similar experience on May 5, 2024 in reference to recall # 24V267000. In May 2024, the notification system showed all of the above alerts before the vehicle shut off and lost power. At this time, the vehicle was traveling at 60 mph on the interstate. Driver was fortunately able to exit and get to a parking lot before losing steering control. Vehicle would not restart, even with a jump. The vehicle was towed to dealer, however, dealer would not honor the issued recall as it was "not yet active". The dealer replaced the battery and alternator (deemed to caused by faulty battery included in recall) at expense to the driver. Driver was not reimbursed. The manufacturer was notified for May 2024 incident and again after February 4, 2025 incident. Vehicle was towed on 2/5/25 to dealer for service. Despite the active recall, there is "no current remedy" for the problem. Driver is expected to pay all costs (i.e., tow, service parts, rental car) to HOPEFULLY be reimbursed by the manufacturer once the recall solution is released. The fact that the same issue occurred with a second recall under a year is a huge inconvenience and safety risk. Current recall states, "vehicles in this recall were previously repaired under 24V-267 and will need to have the new remedy completed".Read more

Driver was driving on the interstate. The car flashed several electrical system failure issues and notified that the alternator no longer functioned and that the system would then pull from the battery. The battery light came on and then flashed several warnings along with sounds. Driver was luckily able to exit the interstate and make it to a parking lot off before vehicle lost all power. Once pa

Afterwards the car would not switch gears and then again flashed the electric system was experiencing failure. This and along with some whirring sounds from under the hood (what I could hear from driver seat), gave me enough reason to stop trying altogether to avoid further issues. After turning the car off, the dashboard flashed errors saying that features like electric braking, lane assist, and others were not available. Car was towed to dealership. Owners notified Ford dealership of recall # 24V267000 for the vehicle on 5/5/24. Dealership said it was not yet active recall (although issued by Ford on 4/11/2024), refused to pay for new battery and alternator needed (caused by the defunct battery- part of the recall). Dear Sir, I am submitting this formal complaint regarding severe misconduct, fraud, and reckless endangerment committed by Hyundai Escondido, Hyundai Motor America, and Ally Financial in connection with the sale and financing of a dangerously defective 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Touring AWD (VIN: [XXX] ). 1. Background of the Case On [XXX] I purchased the above-referenced vehicle from Hyundai E
... scondido under the representation that it was a Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle that had passed rigorous manufacturer standards. The dealership provided me with a Carfax report showing no prior accidents or major repairs and falsely assured me that the car was in excellent condition. However, immediately after purchase, I discovered that the vehicle had severe hidden defects, including: •Extensive flood damage, which was concealed at the time of sale and significantly compromised the car’s electrical and safety systems. •Prior frame and structural damage from an accident that was never disclosed. •Critical electrical malfunctions causing the vehicle to swerve uncontrollably on its own, without any driver input. •Severe safety risks, which nearly resulted in an accident with another vehicle carrying a baby on board. •Substantial mechanical and structural issues requiring over $20,000 in repairs, making the car unsafe and unusable. Despite reporting these issues on the first day of ownership, Hyundai Escondido refused to acknowledge or rectify the matter. 2. Hyundai Escondido’s Role in Fraud and Misrepresentation •Knowingly sold a flood-damaged and structurally compromised vehicle without disclosure. •Misrepresented the vehicle as a Certified Pre owned. The vehicles AWD system has prematurely failed as confirmed by the car dealership Acura of Pembroke Pines that I have taken it to. There are several Acura TLX Type-S trim vehicles that a

October 2023 – January 2024: Despite having the engine replaced, the car began showing worsening jerking and misfiring, especially at higher speeds (60-65 mph or above). February 2024: During routine maintenance, I was informed that a catalytic converter needed replacement due to damage caused by the engine misfiring. I also learned that the starter motors were not replaced during the engine swap, despite it being common to get a tune up at about 80,000 and expecting thorough work after a engine replacement (Is that too much to ask) also being that I get ALL repairs and maintenance done here just for the service “ADVISOR’ to tell me you were been supposed to get a tune up, hysterical October 2024 – January 2025: The engine started losing power and struggling to rev, similar to before the new engine and catalytic converter replacement. After two weeks, I received a $3500 estimate for starters, coils, plugs, a coolant flush, and code P0128. After waiting for recall plans and assistance, I was informed that the technicians had added the two coils and plugs they initially had on the $3500 estimate and said after test driving it w/ those, they see that a new transmission is needed for $7500.Read more
