Rear defrost coils have continually fallen off. Dealer fixed one in February of 2024. It fell off March 2024. They are both hanging there. Dealer won’t touch it - says rear window needs replacement. It did this three times before I could get it to the dealer the next day, If my daughter was driving I would have expected that two of the three would have resulted in a wreck as she would not have been strong enough to steer or stop the vehicle. The dealer had it three days and replaced the brake master cylinder and called it fixed, I picked the vehicle up and on the way home I stopped for gas, after the gas station the dash displayed: Service brake assist, I turned right around and took it back to the dealer, they checked the code and said the brake assist module was drawing too much current, I picked the vehicle back up three days later, they said they bleed the air out of the brake system and called it fixed. I was on a road with no shoulder and traffic behind me and I had to pull over in someone's yard to get out of the way of the traffic. That was very scary and could have killed me if I had been on the interstate or a busier highway. When I was able to safely pull off the main road, I put it in park, and it cranked right up and the dash lights went away. I am having to put it in the shop because I am too scared to drive it anymore. This problem really needs to be addressed as it is all over the internet. After the November 2024 oil change and tire rotation, only three months after obtaining my vehicle, Javier claimed no issues, despite my prior warnings. The problems worsened, with squealing, leakage, and odors persisting. My March 19, 2025, service appointment was delayed, calls ignored, and follow-ups never occurred. Sales manager Khaled stated that owner Frank confronted Javier about avoiding service issues, yet no action was taken. I contacted ten GMC service departments in PA, CT, and MD; they reported similar AT4 brake issues, some citing total brake failure. I spoke with GM corporate supervisors, who referred me back to the dealer. Frank’s GMC inspections overlooked my concerns. A local police department safety inspection unit confirmed the issues, but no manufacturer or insurance inspections occurred. The vehicle is available for inspection. I urge NHTSA to investigate this premature brake failure and ensure the 2024 Acadia AT4’s safety. The email screenshot I included was sent in April.
