On April 27, 2025, in [XXX] , the vehicle displayed a low coolant warning in the morning. The owner replenished the coolant as instructed, the warning cleared, and the vehicle was driven to work without incident. Later that day, while traveling southbound on [XXX] at approximately 60 mph, the engine overheat warning activated, forcing the driver to stop and pull over. The vehicle required two sep

On April 30, 2025, the dealership completed a full warranty repair replacing the engine head gasket and seals under TSB 2071245/1, a Volkswagen-issued Technical Service Bulletin acknowledging a known manufacturing defect in the 2022–2023 Taos cooling system, for which there is no recall issued. A formal case was opened with VW Customer Care prior to the repair visit and is on record. This incident occurred just before the vehicle’s warranty expiration at 30,000 miles. When driving my Kia Sportage on the highway, the screen panel goes completely dark while using the GPS. No warning lights what so ever. This is a major issue for me because I'm depending on the GPS to safely get to where I want to go. I have gotten lost 3 or 4 times in areas that I'm not familiar with because I don't know what exit to take. The moment the screen blacks out on me, it causes me to
... be so confused and stressed out to the point that I become terrified of causing an accident where people could die, including myself. Kia has recalled 2026 Kia Sportage cars for the same panel blackouts. My Kia Sportage was not. I had taken the vehicle twice to the dealership complaining about the problem (04/01/26 and 04/29/26) and they tell me that there is no issues with the screen panel because they can't replicate the problem at the shop. So far, only the dealership has checked the car. I don't know what else to do. These panel blackouts are happening quite often now. At this moment, I don't trust the screen panel anymore. There is something wrong with it. I have friends in my car when the screen panel blacks out. Upon request, the car will be available for inspection.Read more

The vehicle has experienced recurring suspension, drivability, and pulling issues associated with the 4-corner air ride leveling suspension system since early ownership. The first major incident occurred at approximately 4,600 miles when the vehicle displayed suspension warnings and would not accelerate properly past highway speeds. Since that time, the vehicle has repeatedly experienced pulling d
... uring acceleration, unstable ride behavior, suspension/leveling concerns, alignment-related issues, and drivability instability. The problem has been reproduced multiple times and documented through approximately 16 repair visits and roughly 74 cumulative days out of service. Dealership service records include repeated suspension inspections, drivability evaluations, wheel alignments, and related repair attempts. The issue remains unresolved and the vehicle is currently back in service again for the same concern. The recurring pulling and instability create safety concerns because the vehicle does not consistently track properly during acceleration and normal driving conditions. Suspension warning messages and drivability symptoms first appeared early in ownership while the vehicle was still under factory warranty. I have also found many similar owner complaints online involving the same suspension system in comparable GM full-size SUV models.Read more

My car has an issue officially diagnosed by a reputable mechanic that matches the claim of the former TSB SA-058/20 that was changed and clarified through the now existing TSB SA-031/21. My car has a cracked cylinder head. This is the non turbo engine but it does have cylinder deactivation which his believed to be a culprit. The cracking is known to be caused by a manufacturing defect. There i
... s an existing class action lawsuit regarding the turbo versions. There are complexities as to wh this lawsuit is on behalf of the turbo engines, and not the non turbo engines, however the same problems are well documented and widely acknowledged throughout hundreds if not more instances of people online and by Mazda's acknowledgment of the problem through the TSB's. This put me at great safety risk. I was driving north bound right beside semi trucks and busy traffic at speed limits of 70 mph when my engine started smoking. I was able to pull over and get it to a nearby mechanic. They officially diagnosed the vehicle w the cracked cylinder head matching the aforementioned TSBs. Mazda denied my goodwill case, even though it was made without complete information on my situation and car, despite my best attempts to get to the one representing my case with the dealership(I tried to reach him for 2 days with no success). Getting a repair from Mazda dealerships was inconvenient for my location and schedule, but I've always had my vehicle properly serviced. Mazda said this repair would cost near $7500. A mechanic quoted me at least the amount of $5500.Read more

... Jan 2026, I hit debris on the freeway, which required a repair of my front bumper and undercarriage. I had moved from LA to Orange County, and went to the Fix Auto Yorba Linda location to remediate the door repair and address the new damage. The date of repair for both items was April 15, 2026, as I was unable to make time for an immediate appointment. I received the car back on May 5, 2026, and noticed the front collision error light was turned on, the parking collision mode worked only intermittently, and I had difficulty one time the next day with my door opening (was stuck partially latched/open and my gas cap would not open). The door and gas cap worked after the incident, but, due to both repair shops' lack of quality work, I'm skeptical that the initial problem was remediated. I would like to request both the Fix Auto Downtown Los Angeles and Yorba Linda locations be investigated for returning my vehicle in an unsafe condition. The primary front trunk (frunk) latch mechanism fails to unlatch on the first attempt, requiring multiple actuations to open. When I brought the vehicle to the manufacturer's official service center to have the defective safety latch inspected and repaired, they confirmed the behavior but refused to fix the underlying hardware. Instead, the service center officially documented on my repair invoice
... that this latch failure is "frequently present and deemed a characteristic of the vehicle." A malfunctioning, binding, or misaligned front trunk latch poses a severe safety risk. If the primary latch is failing to release properly, it indicates a defect in the retention mechanism that could lead to the hood unexpectedly opening, flying up, and obstructing the driver's vision at highway speeds (a known issue that has caused recalls in the past). The manufacturer's refusal to repair a failing primary safety latch, and instead documenting it as a normal "characteristic," leaves a critical safety component in a compromised and dangerous state. There were no warning lights prior to this failure; it is a physical, mechanical defect that the manufacturer has acknowledged in writing but refuses to remedy.Read more

In the Fall of 2024 we started having trouble with our F150 Ford Truck's transmission. It would drop gears, even from 6th gear to 1st gear, as the recall has stated, so we took it to someone who specifically deals with transmissions, and he stated that the truck was throwing a code that shows that the transmission shift module or sensor was bad. He told us to check with Ford to see if there were a

Well, the transmission continued to slip from 3rd to 4th gears constantly and would only occasionally drop gears, but is continuing to do so on a regular basis. We took the truck back to the transmission garage and he stated it would cost $5000 to rebuild the transmission. We have tried to call the Ford recall line, but just hangs up after giving us the same information the recall letter told us. So we have no one to report that we are having the issues we are having. So are we to continue to drive a truck that possibly could cause an accident on the highway or is there another solution to this problem other than waiting on Ford to come up with a fix possibly in July? The door operated normally for the preceding 12 months. Tesla initially attributed the failure to a minor cosmetic scratch sustained 12 months earlier — a theory inconsistent with the timeline, since the scratch existed during 12 months of normal door operation. Recurrence after 5+ failed repair attempts confirms the defect is electronic in nature, not cosmetic.Read more

In addition, electronic issues with key fob & e-brake. E-brake able to get fixed; key fob on its third shop go with no correction yet. --- Initial appointment, dealership could not detect issues. Car returned; Blind Spot Alert was turned to lights only. Brought back dealership. Had appointment, at check-in stand, told to do road test. Dealership's resolution was to reduce the safety settings from highest to medium strength. Told did not have to sign anything, could just leave. Drive test now undocumented. --- Reached out to Mopar, was told they aren't the right department. Reached out to Stellantis/Jeep customer service, created case number, told to go to another dealership, if they can't find problem, then I could reach back out to Jeep for a more advanced repair. --- Any vehicle that offers various levels of safety features should be able to use any of the settings in order to maintain highest level of safety on the road for others and themselves. Having random alerts go on and off while on a safety setting meant for the highest protection is potentially dangerous for all.Read more

Rollover valve in factory gas tank is defective and remains closed. This causes an issue when refilling the vehicle with gas. The gas pump will continuously stop filling as the fumes build up in the tank. This should be a recall as it’s a safety issue and a new tank cost over $2,000.

The panoramic sunroof exploded while driving down the road. We almost crashed because it was so loud. It sounded like a gun shot. If the shade hadn’t been closed, we would have had glass rain down on our heads. I am contacting my insurance carrier today. There was no warning this would happen. The temperature at the time of incident was 52 degrees.

On May 2, 2026 I was operating the vehicle at 60 mph on the interstate. There were absolutely no other vehicles in my line of sight or on the roaway anywhere near me. The motorcycle went into automatic breaking and the brakes appeared to activate all on their own and almost locked up. I immediately was able to pull over and smell the very strong smell of burning brakes. I shut off the motorcycle
... let it cool down and proceeded to the local dealer. The dealer had absolutely no idea what could have happened and did not have time or ability to look into it further at that time. They did observe that the rear brake caliper and disk appeared to be discolored and may have gotten very hot. They're not sure if it was related or not. There's absolutely no reason the motorcycle should have applied the emergency breaking by itself and it's very concerning. I have turned off the adaptive cruise control feature due to fear it's going to cause a crash.Read more
