January of 2025 the vehicle was put in drive and the vehicle shut down. "Power steering low egine stopped" message appeared. I Put the vehicle in park and started the car back up. I took it to the dealership. The battery was low they charged it and released it back. During these events the car made a loud grinding sound and displayed BRAKE across the dash. The 3rd time at the dealership was due to the car shutting down when put into park and braking when reversing out of a parking spot. The code "epb stopped Incompletely" and the BRAKE message appeared.The dealership checked for codes but the car didn't have any saved. They can't recreate it. They had a feild tech come out but I'm unsure of what was found because they haven't released it. As of June 22, 2025 I was driving and the car braked on me while going 40 mph. The seat belt locked up and threw me and my passenger forward. A red BRAKE message appeared and the car sounded an alarm. This has been a well-known issue on a number of Volvo models as well which share software with the Polestar, and they were also recently recalled for the same issue (25V-282). Upon researching, I found that Toyota issued Tech Tip T-TT-0602-20 for this exact issue — citing steering vibration caused by Dunlop Grandtrek AT20 tires on 4Runner models. I also found similar complaints from other owners on forums and the NHTSA database. The issue appears to be related to internal tire defects (e.g., belt separation or out-of-round tires) which are not externally visible. This problem affects safety due to potential loss of steering stability at high speeds, and could worsen over time. Ford’s 2.0L EcoBoost engine failed on our on a 2018 Edge. The vehicle and engine are available for inspection. The engine suffered a catastrophic failure and must be replaced per Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 19-2346. Ford issued TSB 19-2346 on coolant loss/need for engine replacement in 2019. ... d a chronic problem with these engines for years but kept selling them. There is a recall for some 2015-2018 Edges and 2017-2019 Fusion/MKZ/Escape/MKC vehicles equipped with a 2.0L EcoBoost engines. I’m not sure why my 2018 Edge is not part of the recall, since the engine has failed per TSB 19-2346. The problem was diagnosed by a certified mechanic, diagnosis attached. I filed a case (#[XXX]) with Ford Customer Service, who denied any responsibility because my extended powertrain warranty (which I believe lasted until 100,000 miles) expired 3 months before the engine failure was diagnosed. I also wrote a letter (attached) to Ford Consumer Affairs, which remains unanswered. A check engine light appeared just days after Ford performed a routine 60,000 mile service. Ford reported no problems and did not indicate that our vehicle was at risk under of TSB 19-2346, even though this TSB and problems with the 2018 Ford Edge have been known about by Ford since at least 2019 when the TSB was issued. In addition to the check engine light, we started losing/and replacing small amounts of coolant, which we attributed to a hose leak. Yes, a check engine light appeared along with a coolant temperature warning message. The vehicle also began to idle roughly, produce heavy exhaust, and consume coolant. These symptoms began appearing shortly before diagnosis in June 2025. I own a 2018 Ford Fusion with a 2.0L EcoBoost engine. The vehicle recently began experiencing coolant loss, heavy exhaust, and check engine alerts. A certified mechanic confirmed that coolant has intruded into the engine block, causing internal misfires and risk of major engine failure. I was told this is a common and well-documented issue with this engine design, yet there has been no official recall from Ford despite similar problems affecting other models (referenced in Ford TSB 19-2208). Our power steering has stopped working and there was a recall on Ram 1500 models for this defect but not for the 2014 which has the same steering component. We would like the 2014 model and any model that has the same defective steering to be included. This is a very expensive fix and very dangerous to operate like this

There was no accident, I am experiencing the same issue with my Ford Super Duty that was in a recall 22S51 but my VIN was not included in the recall. The back up camera on my truck is so cloudy you can barely see, Ford states they will not take of this as well as the dealership I bought the truck from.

The issue is two fold, first the seal on the rear spoiler is defective and causing water to leak into the cab. Second, the seal around the rear power sliding window is defective and is also leaking into the cab. My safety concern is the amount of black mold that could be trapped between the headliner and roof putting myself and family at grave risk.
