I purchased a 2023 Cadillac CT5 from a Cadillac dealership in Cleveland, Ohio on June 24th, 2025 with slightly under 18K miles. On July 30th, I took the car to a local Cadillac dealer due to on a few occasions, while driving down the highway, the car went into "decreased acceleration, drive with care". Shouldn't the consumer be protected? I was not made aware of any recalls, and the dealership is denying any wrong doing since the carfax report was clean. This is not ok. Brakes have failed with a DTC C1391 indicating an accumulator leak. The brake booster pump constantly runs. When the DTC is triggered the brake feel becomes suddenly different as regen braking is lost. Appears to be a very common and expensive repair. Toyota has already had recalls and extended repair program for these parts but they are now expired and not covered.

The ABS control module in my car is inoperable. I have lights on for ABS, brakes, and stabiltrac. Upon further investigation the ABS module is no longer available and no aftermarket part available. This leaves my car useless being I no longer feel safe driving it. If I lock up brakes in an emergency, my car could go into an uncontrollable slide (being front wheel drive) especially on wet roads.

My wife, [XXX] , purchased a 2005 Acura TL on [XXX]. The car was not inspected, it had a hole in the oil tank, was leaking battery acid, had broken control arms, wore out rotors, wore out brake pads, bald tires, Vehicle Stability Control disabled, no AC, cracked dashboard where the passenger air bag is located, and the alignment was so bad that the car would try to pull very hard off of the road.
... Toxic hot fumes entered the cockpit during my wife's drive home from the car dealership. The fumes made her feel sick and gave her a horrible headache because of the leaking battery acid and perhaps the hole in the oil tank. It's a health and safety issue that needs to be taken seriously. The used car dealership (Premium Auto Outlet Inc.) is selling vehicles to customers and are not providing them with the title. My wife paid in full, yet she had to fight to receive the title. The employees scream at there customers, including my wife and also tell them to leave the property when asking for the title and when confronted about vehicle mechanical issues. The female employee even screamed over the phone at our mechanic (Delran Auto Repair) who tried to tell the employee that the car was not is sellable condition due to the safety and mechanical problems. Please review the Google reviews and Facebook reviews for more horrible customer experiences when it comes vehicles being sold in horribly unsafe mechanical condition, withholding titles, unlawfully repossessing, screaming at customers and ignoring customer complaints. The best resolution for my wife and I would be for the dealership to pay for all of the repair bills that accrued (roughly $4K) due to the car being sold in unsafe condition and most importantly the prevention of any health and safety issues due to the selling of unsafe mechanically condition vehicles to future customers. I also would not have slammed on the gas thinking it was the brake since there would have been no reason to slam on the brake when I was only going 5-10 miles per hour max around the tight turn. My shoe was not caught on a pedal, both sandals were still on my feet after the accident. I am not a two footed driver. I feel that it was an accelerator malfunction, as the gas pedal had always been a little strange with a delayed response, but may have also involved the transmission after driving up the steep hill and then returning to a short but flat stretch leading up to the house. I was very bruised up, particularly my shins and ankles. Two months later, I still have some visible bruising. I also had injuries from the seat belt on my chest and what appeared to be a powder burn from the airbags. I was quite traumatized by the sudden acceleration and violence of the crash and not understanding how or why it happened. If someone had been standing in front of the house to greet me on my return, they would have been killed. The car was towed away and totaled by the insurance company, so the problem hasn't been reproduced or confirmed. There were no warning lamps or messages that I'm aware of prior to the incident, except that the gas pedal has always felt inconsistent concerning when it engages. There is an active recall. I went to the dealer to have it resolved. I was told there is no fix and not sure when there will be a resolution. That is unacceptable in my opinion. Especially when it pertains to the battery and there is a heightened risk for fire. I am reliant on having a vehicle to get to work. Quirk Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Of Dorchester refused to perform Recall 73B/24V-536 on my restricted-title Pacifica (reconstructed), citing Chrysler policy. That policy doesn’t exist in the recall bulletin. I need the BPCM software update and any necessary battery replacement under the recall.

The coolant control valve malfunctioned on this vehichle several times during the course of ownership. It causes the vehichle to run in limp mode. This part was replaced in July 2023 at ~40,000 miles as a result. The part again began to fail in june/july 2025 with a dealer visit and diagnostic in July. If the part was not covered under the vehicle warrantee, the part and repair would have been covered by the part warantee.
