This issue involves the lock/unlock system: Front passenger door does not respond to lock/unlock command by either approaching the door and/or pressing the remote button. This is a constant problem and is not random. Front drivers door has started doing the same thing but randomly.

There was a leak on the evaporator coil within the AC system for this car. We started having issues with the AC around the 56,500 mile mark ([XXX]). After a couple of rounds of recharging the system with refrigerant and looking for a leak, the repair shop finally found the leak on the evaporator coil system. Riding in the car with no AC in the summertime in South Carolina is brutal. The $4,254.03 cost for the evaporator coil replacement, did not include the amount of money we spent the first two go arounds looking for the leak and recharging the system with refrigerant. After doing some research and talking to the repair shop who completed the evaporator coil replacement work it seems that this is a very common failure on this model/year Volvo. My key snapped in the ignition so after being told by 2 chevrolet dealerships essentially "sorry about my luck" I called out a locksmith who extracted the piece of key in ignition and attempted to code several new cut keys. Everything failed. I'm now out almost $500 based off 2 dealerships refusing to assist with a clear recall. I need this fixed and have been without a vehicle for 3 weeks. THIS VEHICLE HAS THE YOKE STEERING WHEEL.Issue is two fold. The right and left turn signal activation in on the face of the wheel and difficult to find since the arrows are not raised so you can feel them. You have to take your eyes off the road to find the left or right turn signal, then if they do not automatically turn off you have to repeat this again to press. Very unsafe and frustrating. Sec
... ond issue: the Horn. Again, the switch is on the surface of the wheel and you can not feel it you have to search for it because of other switches nearby. The horn activation needs to be in center of wheel with an easy push sequence to activate. Searching for the horn switch is unsafe due to the speed needed to warn somebody and again, you have to take your eyes off the road to locate the small lit switch to blow the horn. If you are turning a Yoke Wheel and need to blow the horn, it is impossible. A Recall is needed to replace the entire Yoke Wheel with a Horn activation in the center, and a lever installed on the steering column for blinkers.Read more

On May 20, 2024, I brought my Honda Odyssey to the Wesley Chapel Honda location to address the fuel pump recall. My vehicle had been exhibiting symptoms consistent with the recall, including hesitation followed by delayed acceleration, which almost caused a collision. This occurred twice at an intersection and another time while changing lanes, among other times that fortunately were not close cal

Both times at the intersection I was going straight, the vehicle turning left coming from the opposite direction assumed I was not paying attention or letting them go due to the hesitation, when the vehicle jolted forward as I was still attempting to accelerate. I was informed that a diagnostic fee would apply if the issue was found to be unrelated to the recall. I received a call stating the problem did not appear to be the fuel pump. Instead, I was advised to proceed with a throttle body cleaning and fuel induction service at a cost of $550.51 but that it would correct the issue. I either had to complete this service, or deny it, however, still be charged. After picking up the vehicle, the stalling and hesitation persisted. Within 48 hours, the issue reoccurred while my learner-licensed daughter was driving, and it has continued since then. I immediately reported this to the service advisor but have been reluctant to return to any of your locations due to concerns about incurring another diagnostic fee or undergoing unnecessary repairs. I recently received another notice about the fuel pump recall and the offer of a free repair. However, my confidence in Honda's ability to resolve this issue is nonexistent after my prior experience. I had requested a refund for the previous repair, as it failed to address the problem. Had I known it would not resolve the issue, I would not have consented to the service. At this point, I believe that American Honda or the dealer has failed to remedy the defect in my vehicle without charge and within a reasonable amount of time.Read more

The check engine light activated, prompting me to pull over immediately and have the vehicle towed. The diagnosis indicated a misfire, which is a known issue acknowledged by the manufacturer. The first time it happened, it scared me so bad I jerked back into my lane and could have lost control of being safely in the lane. I filed a service request and was told it would cost me an est. $195.00 to have them look at it, but they said they think it is software related and tried to say they don't deal with software issues. It has experienced many occasions of decelerating for no cause when using the Full Self Driving, Autopilot and Cruise Control. It would cause me to have to disengage them as I felt it was effecting my distance efficiency. I found a new issue last night that caused concern. We have been getting high reports of following too closely, so I drove from Plainview, Tx to Amarillo, Tx in complete control myself while driving 100% perfectly and it reported that it claimed 63.5% of that drive was "Following To Closely" when in-fact any time a vehicle was in-front of me by (I think) 30 car lengths, I changed into the other lane where the was no vehicles in the lane at all. It is my personal opinion that it is a combination of the cameras not being infrared and not seeing well enough in low light situations, and the software unable to tell the difference between darkness/shadows and objects that should be avoided. These false alerts occur more for me in low light conditions, but the unneeded deceleration has occurred in all conditions.Read more

Car started to present problems at around 100k miles when it would start to hard shift any time it shifted in to 2nd gear. On several occasions it would fail to accelerate beyond 25 mph one of these instances happened while driving at speed on the interstate where pressing the gas pedal to the floor did not accelerate the car. In all of these instances the car never through any codes with the exception of one time i May 2024 and were inconsistent enough that it was difficult to replicate issues when brought in for inspection. All of the above symptoms were alleviated by adding about a quart of oil every 1,000 miles or so. Again when asking about these issues the repair shops could never give a reason for why it was going through so much oil.Read more

The touch screen is delaminating. Due to the delaminating the truck randomly calls people, randomly turns functions on/off, it can be very distracting. The only way to solve the issue is to turn off the unit, however half the cars controls and controlled through the unit including some of the safety features so if the head unit is turned off I can’t use some of the safety features.
