After latest Tesla software upgrade, all cameras and GPS stops working. All automatic functionalities of the car stops working without cameras, and it is really unsafe to drive, for example back up the car since the physical rear view mirror is very small, and car is naturally designed with those cameras to function properly.

About a week ago I noticed that the passenger seat belt sign on the dash does not come on when a passenger is seated without the belt engaged (normally I get a red warning sign that the seat belt is not buckled for the passenger). At the same time I also noticed that there's a red airbag indicator light that stays on at all times while driving. I brought the car in to the dealer again to have it diagnosed, but the service advisor stated that it will be $235 to diagnose the issue, and that more than likely I have to replace the whole seat for $3,500 or more, because the sensor is part of the seat. So to replace the sensor they have to replace the whole seat. I can not afford to pay thousands of dollars for something that is not wear and tear, nor abuse on my part. Miracleously, she had minor external injuries but due to the speed of impact with the tree, she was flung forward and after the CT scan, we found that she had VAD with severe damage to both her neck arteries. She was taken to hospital in an ambulance, had a surgery and still has trauma and medical appointments to fully recover. In Mar 2024, there was always a software problem with My car failing to detect the car was open and hit the garage roof with the falcon wing. On another occasion, the car failed to detect my other car when it was too close to it and I had to apply the brakes although the car was to stop automatically. Tesla refused to treat this as warranty even though the car should not move when doors are open. After 6 months, I ended up fixing the car at a Tesla collision centre. After multiple follow ups via email, chats on tesla app and phone calls post the accident on Oct 2, 2024 with Tesla pleading with them to provide the EDR report and address the issue as warranty and not hearing back, I am logging this so that customers are aware of this dangerous flaw that can be fatal.
