Car will start surging and then will stall out. First noticed when car was purchased, but was told it was normal for the car to do. I will start the car and it'll run for a few seconds then die. Sometimes the engine light comes on then it will turn off. 2 different dealerships, Jess Ford, in Pullman Washington and Joe Hall Ford in Lewiston Idaho, both have done inspections and claimed to have fixed the transmission, but the issue has continued to be an issue. It has happened over 15 plus times of stalling and surging in the last week. TCM replaced, clutch replaced, fuel purge valve has been replaced. We were told it was a one-time fix, but it has been a nonstop issue since. The technicians informed us that it would fail again, and it did. Car is a 2015 Ford Focus, under 94k miles.Read more

We learned of the Nuna Rava recall and the next day while driving our daughter to daycare, we noticed the buckle was considerably loosened during the ride. Upon testing the buckle as noted in the Nuna video, the harness loosened very easily while the loosen button for the tether was not engaged. Upon alerting the manufacturer, Nuna, they refuse to provide any replacement for the seat stating it is out of warranty even though there is an active recall. Their mitigation plan is a new seat cover and cleaning kit, however our seat is already compromised and even with cleaning was not repaired. Nuna refuses to investigate and look into it further despite numerous calls and emails. They also refuse to escalate my concerns to higher management. These frequently reoccurring events were not remedied by any of the subsequent updates received: v2024.32.10 (FSD v12.5.4.1) on Oct 8, 2024 v2024.33.5 (FSD v12.5.4.2) on Nov 2, 2024 2024.44.25.2 (FSD v12.5.4.2) on Dec 10, 2024 While not all events occurred with surrounding traffic, those that did posed a hazard to not just occupants of my vehicle, but those in and around other vehicles, including pedestrians. Most other drivers do not expect and are unprepared for a vehicle to apply panic-level emergency braking and come to full stop at green lights, before unprotected crosswalks with no pedestrians present, or along well-traveled streets without significant errant other drivers. No warning lights, chimes, or other indications ever appeared on any of the displays or instrument clusters within the vehicle during any of the events. The FSD traffic display did not indicate or highlight any features of the surrounding area that were causing it to slow or stop. The problem has been regularly experienced by many other drivers, as evidenced by the large number of similar reports across the various Tesla driver communities online. ... e occurred. It turns out, a single vacuum pump, mated directly to the camshaft, applies vacuum boost to the turbo (power loss) and brakes (catastrophic brake failure). I replaced the vacuum pump, but the problem persisted, so I had to take it in to the dealership for evaluation. I was told the problem is the bolt that mates the vacuum pump to the cam shears off when the vacuum pump seizes. I subsequently read of many cases of this problem on the Escape, but also on the F-150 (for which there is apparently a recall???) -- really, any Ford with an Ecoboost turbo engine. Additionally, the bolt shearing and vacuum pump disintegrating, leads to metal shavings that destroy the turbo. How this VERY serious road hazard caused by a terrible engineering design flaw (single point of catastrophic failure) hasn't resulted in a MAJOR safety recall for all these Ford Ecoboost engines is totally shocking and beyond me. This is coming from an engineer who has spent 50+ years working on cars. NHTSA has absolutely failed in not addressing this terrible safety and design problem.Read more

A software update physically pushed from tesla should not be shorting out computers on its vehicles, i heavily rely on the cameras and safety features since living in a state where nobody knows how to drive (lol). We found an AutoZone and scanned the codes, and multiple were returned. A Google search pointed us to the "walk home" fuse, which indeed had been blown. The automatic pilot computer (AP4) failed on my 2025 Tesla Model Y after approximately 400 miles. This controls a lot of the vehicle's auto pilot features but it also controls a lot of its safety features, such as the back-up camera, forward collision warning and blind spot warning. As of 19 December, the Tesla Service Center has had my vehicle for 14 days with no fix for the foreseeable future.

Prior to this incident occurring I reached out to Tesla because vehicle had been making a clicking noise and the soonest appointment they had available was not until January. The vehicle has been towed to Tesla Van Nuys CA and two different tow truck companies did not want to be involved so Tesla road side had to do the tow all 3 tow truck drivers agreed this is definitely a safety issue and common issue with TESLA this needs to be recalled.Read more

Internal computer failed on two occasions in first 3 months of ownership. The internal computer controls nearly all safety features related to visibility and navigation. This includes failure of the backup cameras, lane change cameras, adaptive cruise, blind spot assist, and other driver assist safety features. Without these functioning systems the vehicle immediately becomes unsafe to drive.
