This is a safety issue in the design of the car grill as it has unusually large holes leaving a critical part vulnerable and failure leads to loss of acceleration and a safety hazard. Once they eventually replaced the starter, the issue went away for approximately 10 months. Today, however, I was temporarily left stranded at a gas pump as my vehicle would not start. Honda and Acura dealerships are replacing these parts with the exact same part number, so the no-start condition comes back in about a year or less. It is incredibly dangerous to have a vehicle that you cannot move as anticipated, or if you’re in an area that you cannot leave or get away from potential danger because your vehicle won’t start. This is a less-than two-year-old vehicle that has now left me stranded on several occasions including in the middle of traffic on a motorway. Specifically, the mechanical emergency keys for the door did not function, and the door later did not fully close or seal due to two loose bolts near the lock. Additionally, while driving, the driver’s door was not fully sealed and allowed wind into the cabin without triggering any warning alert, raising concern that the door was not securely latched. The issue was reproduced and confirmed by multiple authorized Volkswagen dealerships. In December 2025, a dealership confirmed that neither set of emergency keys worked. After replacement keys also failed, a faulty door lock cylinder was identified and replaced in March 2026. In April 2026, a new issue arose where the driver’s door was visibly not flush with the frame. A dealership technician identified and tightened two loose bolts in the door lock, which resolved the issue. The vehicle has been inspected by authorized Volkswagen service departments on multiple occasions. No inspection by police or insurance representatives occurred. There were no warning lights, alerts, or messages from the vehicle prior to or during either failure. The issues first appeared in December 2025 (emergency key failure) and again in April 2026 (door not properly sealing). On March 14 2026 i was driving from [XXX] . To [XXX] to have my tires checked because i felt a strong vibration on my steering column and truck itself, it was getting worse so i took it to my mechanic who does my regular maintenance on truck. After inspecting tire ( [XXX] 55 R20) was called over and shown that my front passenger side tire had a flat spot, it looked deformed mechanic informed me

And i need to get another tire right away, since there was non in stock we did the next best thing we took the front passenger tire the affected tire put it in the back and put the rear good tire up front. The next day i was on my way to purchase the replacement tire when the tire blew out. I was on a heavily traffic road [XXX] . I managed to take control of truck doing about 40 mph at the time and drove it off the road to a safer spot to look at damage. Well the passenger rear tire witch was originally on the front that had the separated radial blew a chunk out of the inner sidewall. I put on the spare and went and replaced the tire with another goodyear new tire. On march 28 as i was coming home from [XXX] late at night the driver side rear tire blew as well again had to put on spare and next day took to local mechanics in [XXX] , and checked tire and again i was told that the tire separated from radial and that was the cause of blew out, they inspected all the tires at this point since this was the second tire from the same DOT set with less then 12000 miles that had separated. Well they found a third tire that had aldo separated and had a flat spot on driver side front tire, now there are 3 tires from the same set, coincidence, i dont think so i replaced the second and third tire. On March 14 2026 i was driving from [XXX] . To [XXX] to have my tires checked because i felt a strong vibration on my steering column and truck itself, it was getting worse so i took it to my mechanic who does my regular maintenance on truck. After inspecting tire ( [XXX] 55 R20) was called over and shown that my front passenger side tire had a flat spot, it looked deformed mechanic informed me
... that the tire had separated from radial. And i need to get another tire right away, since there was non in stock we did the next best thing we took the front passenger tire the affected tire put it in the back and put the rear good tire up front. The next day i was on my way to purchase the replacement tire when the tire blew out. I was on a heavily traffic road [XXX] . I managed to take control of truck doing about 40 mph at the time and drove it off the road to a safer spot to look at damage. Well the passenger rear tire witch was originally on the front that had the separated radial blew a chunk out of the inner sidewall. I put on the spare and went and replaced the tire with another goodyear new tire. On march 28 as i was coming home from [XXX] late at night the driver side rear tire blew as well again had to put on spare and next day took to local mechanics in [XXX] , and checked tire and again i was told that the tire separated from radial and that was the cause of blew out, they inspected all the tires at this point since this was the second tire from the same DOT set with less then 12000 miles that had separated. Well they found a third tire that had aldo separated and had a flat spot on driver side front tire, now there are 3 tires from the same set, coincidence, i dont think so i replaced the second and third tire. My car was parked out front my house. Weather has been in the 60’s no major differences. I walked outside ant 1pm and noticed the entire back windshield was shattered. ... became completely unusable due to a recurring "Cabin camera unavailable — schedule service" alert that instantly disengages the system. The disengagement occurs on the freeway at highway speed, without meaningful advance warning. As a [XXX] driver, the sudden loud alarm and loss of assisted driving is genuinely alarming — it is not immediately clear in the moment whether the vehicle has lost power or experienced a critical failure. This is exactly the kind of dangerous situation driver assistance systems should prevent, not cause. 2021 Mazda CX5 AWD- Non Turbo Engine. Sunny Day, Dry. My Car was clean. No Precipitation. On 4/09/26 my trac control/ ABS and BRAKE light illuminated on the dash and the hill descent assist flashes . When diagnosed at shop code C2200 was found. ( module internal failure). While passing a vehicle on a two lane road, my vehicle lost power and went into limp mode nearly causing a head on accident. The check engine light came on and i immediately went to O'Reilly's Auto parts store and had their OBD scanner read the code. AP0002 code was read. I immediately returned home and the check engine light automatically cleared. I scanned the OBD again and found code P0002 and
... a second code P000277 that was listed as stored and current Both codes refer to an issue with the high pressure fuel pump. I just recently purchased this vehicle with 35170 miles. I had the OBD scanned prior to purchase, there were no codes at that time so we purchased the vehicle. We've since put 1000 miles on the vehicle and without any warning, this issue suddenly happened. I have done some research and Mercedes offered an extended 120000 mile/10 year warranty that addressed this exact issue, however, that warranty is now up due to the age of the vehicle. This issue put us and others at server risk of a major accident do to this issue happening with no warning. I haven't tried to reproduce the scenario that occurred, however the codes remain on the OBD computer.Read more
