I have 110k miles on the car and as long as there is no recall, I am forced to have the engine replaced at my cost. I am a retired, disabled veteran and cannot afford to have such expenses. On this date the vehicle locked up suddenly to an abrupt stop, we were almost impacted in the rear with two other vehicles having to take evasive action to avoid hitting us. My wife and I were lucky not to injured by the sudden brake, or transmission lock up. There were no other issues with the vehicle until this date, other than the stall issue. It seems the system had a sudden catastrophic failure. the car has been maintained with oil changes, new battery and transmission service. The car was shutdown then restarted. All the lights on the dash were on and the vehicle was unable to shift to any gear. The vehicle had to be towed to my home address. I was advised to have the vehicle towed to a dealer for diagnostics at my expense. It is currently at Nalley Acura, Marietta, Ga being diagnosed for the issues. The vehicle has 74,000 miles currently. It was purchased with 57,700 miles from Jacson Acura as a certified Acura used vehicle. In each case the brakes were unexpectedly applied very hard for several seconds before returning to normal. There were no other vehicles around and no dirt or other obstructions to the sensors. Vehicle was brought into dealer for diagnostics and was told they could not duplicate the concern. I asked the dealership to contact Kia for support and they refused. I then contacted Kia directly asking for assistance in getting this resolved. They responded that they rely on diagnostics from the dealership and only if the dealership can duplicate the issue will anything be done. This is an extremely dangerous drivability issue of which the dealer agrees. But since they have not witnessed it firsthand, no further action is being taken to attempt to find and/or replace whatever part is malfunctioning. The Catalytic Converter is the issue per our mechanic. We have had several issues out of the the vehicle, resulting in more money than the car is worth. The car no longer reaches over 55-60 mph, which is unsafe on the highway. Many times the car wont start. 2020 Land Rover Defender with air intake snorkel was detached from the vehicle driving down the highway during a windy day. I see that Land Rover has recalled the snorkel for 2023 and 2024 models for that very reason. The recall should include 2020 models as well! In a private parking lot, within line of sight and ample time to respond to problem I used Tesla Smart Summon. Instead of taking an obvious route through the parking lot, it narrowly hit a parked car, then proceeded to drive over a parking barrier and into a wooded field towards me and a crowded food truck area. ... celerated too fast and without any initial signs of an issue. Even after canceling through the app, the car tried to continue for a brief period. If anyone was in the area or we were closer we could have been hit. Tesla replaced the cameras but claimed no responsibility for damages, citing I was "in control". There were no warning lamps or indicators of any defects before the incident. The vehicle (90k miles) has a check oil light on. When I took it to the dealer, they diagnosed the issue as a faulty oil pressure sensor (see attachment #1). The model year warranty is 10yr/100k for engine/powertrain, I was informed that since I am a second owner that they will only honor a 5yr/60k warranty. ... the nhtsa.gov site. A letter from Kia dated 4/6/2022 (WTY026) (attachment #2). Attached for you convenience shows an extension of the warranty of this component to 15yr/150k. The letter includes my vehicles make and model, but uses the model year 2014-2018 with a manufacturing date of 12/17/2012 - 3/7/2018. My vehicle was manufactured on 3/2/18 from the VIN plate attached to the vehicle (attachment #3). The dealership also refused to cover the warranty based on this letter because of the model year. My issue is this model year uses the same engine and components and was manufactured before the cut-off of the extended warranty. Around the end of November, my 2024 Tesla Model Y's cameras stopped functioning. The sensors for blind spots and possible collision prevention stopped working. I brought my car into Tesla for them to confirm that it is the part that is missing and that is the case but they couldn't fix it because they don't have the part. It's been over a month and my date was pushed out again, probably the sixth or seventh time. LKA; Collision Mitigation Problem; Auto High Beam; Road Departure Mitigation; Adaptive Cruise Control Dashboard has ALL of these lighting up. Dealer said it was a sensor issue. No accidents; well cared for vehicle just spontaneously started issuing these alerts each time the car starts and the duration of the drive. Due to all the warnings the driver isn’t able to see fuel range etc.

Headlights go out randomly usually when using turn signal. Because this happens at night all visibility is lost temporarily. This also confuses other drivers. 1. Failed component/system. Primary issue is stalling under normal operating conditions. The vehicle is available for inspection. It is a 2024 Porsche Panamera. It is currently with the dealership at Chantilly. 2. The vehicle stalls while I was crossing a highway potentially leading to a collision. The dealership will not have Porsche engineering try to identify the issue they are just stating they cannot replicate it while test driving. 5. There was no indication or warning light that stalling would occur. There were software issues that occurred as soon as I received the vehicle, which I had let Porsche know, and that was an additional malfunction which they have stated they have fixed. This would be the second time that they worked on this issue. I would like to note that I purchased the vehicle in November and as of November 22 Porsche has been in possession of my vehicle. They returned it on December 2 stating they had fixed all issues. On December 3 the dashboard warnings occurred again. Therefore, the car was returned to the dealership, and they have had it longer than I have. There is a lemon law in Virginia that states that the dealership has one attempt to fix a life-threatening issue. I believe this is a life-threatening issue that could injure or kill myself and or my family. I believe Porsche is not taking this seriously and because they can’t replicate the stalling, they would like to return the car, as is even though I experience two incidences of stalling across the freeway .Read more

I have been without a vehicle since before Thanksgiving!! I have health issues and I am missing appointments. I am on a fixed income my husband just passed away.
