Static through speakers - possible cause, alternator, spark plugs, or faulty wiring. Passenger air bag light - comes on and off on its own randomly. Overheats - with fluids all topped off and car parked and running for 5 minutes it will start extremely overheating with visible smoke. Not sure why. Wire cover - plastic panel on ground towards front of door on driver side needs better coverage
... . Panel just keeps popping off showing wires. Not sure to what. If gets wet from getting in and out of car can shock you while your driving if touch it just right. Emergency break - don't work Warming indicator - says doors are open when they aren't. Headlights - work when they want to. Theft alarm - don't work Hood pop lever - the lever to pop your hood isn't connected well. The whole lever is just hanging under my steering wheel from the cords. Not latched into anything just kinda floating in the air, makes it hard to pop the hood, can be a distraction while driving with something hitting your knee. Belt buckles - when using seat belts, comes unclicked randomly while driving or won't buckle at all when first trying to put it on. Trunk - unlatches and opens randomly while driving or parked. Shocks? - not sure if it's shocks or what it is. But there is no comfortability while driving. You can feel every bump, pot whole, Crack, anything you drive across. Think it messed up my bearings because of it. But I'm not a mechanic so these are just examples of what's going on and what i think.Read more

My wife was driving the car on March 7th 2025. Before she leaves the house, she had her front defroster on and the windshield was clear before she leaves the house. 5 minutes later, the front windshield became so foggy to the point she could not see anything in front of her and the front defroster was still on. And because of that so foggy windshield she moved out of her lane with no lane departur

The whole front of the car was gone and the car was totally lost but no airbags deployed at all and that was also concerning. The car was taken to a body shop and was inspected by the body shop and I believe a representative from my insurance company went to inspect the car at the body shop. I have the RNS510 radio which the NHTSA has received concerns about and there are several Tec Bulletins in regards to the radio not functioning properly. When this radio goes out due to the need of over priced software update, we loose our Bluetooth and backup cameras! Backup camera we installed so the drive could make sure they were not running over any small children on the ground and when that
... element fails and it falls on deaf ears here to make them fix that and their know faulty cameras, is the NHTSA going to take responsibility for the dead child that wasn’t yours so you would be looking as closely for one but if the know faulty system actually worked that child had a better chance of being alive because you can see your surroundings. There is a Service bulletin supporting the pictures below. Mine just stopped loading tried to upload the software that I bought from the dealership and bricked the whole system!! It will now drain my battery if the fuse is in. Since this has been neglected to be addressed for many years, I am just wondering who within the NHTSA is being paid off by VW and maybe we need to start writing our representatives hoping for a change because clearly VW knows it’s a problem and it’s been reported.Read more

My 2020 Tesla Model 3 has displayed a "Front Passenger Safety Restraint System Fault - Service is required" error since June 2023. While driving with Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) system engaged, my vehicle struck two standard traffic cones in a clearly marked construction zone. The system failed to detect the cones or make any evasive action. I have video evidence of the incident. The situation was extremely dangerous. The cones could easily have been construction workers, pedestrians, or something more severe. I hesitate
... d to intervene because it happened in a split second, and I was trusting the system to respond — which it completely failed to do. In that moment, I was also faced with a difficult choice: swerve and potentially cause a more serious accident, or trust that FSD would navigate correctly. It didn’t. The impact caused damage to my vehicle. When I brought it to Tesla, the technician dismissed my concern, laughed, and sarcastically told me, “There’s no way we’re paying for it.” He said it was my responsibility to avoid the cones — even while FSD was fully engaged. That kind of response is unacceptable, especially when Tesla markets this system as being capable of handling real-world driving environments like construction zones. This incident shows a significant failure in Tesla’s FSD recognition and decision-making systems. There were no warnings or alerts prior to the impact. The event raises major safety concerns, not only for the driver but for anyone on or near the road. I’m reporting this because I believe Tesla's current version of FSD has critical deficiencies that could lead to injury or worse. The system should never ignore basic road hazards like cones, and the company's dismissive response after the fact is alarming.Read more
