The headrest in the 2nd and 3rd rows of the 2023 GMC Yukon are not adjustable or removable, reference page 39 of an owners manual. This is a major problem when installing car seats into the vehicle. Well this cannot happen because of the design of the vehicle. Therefore I cannot properly install car seats of any type into this vehicle. I am not the only consumer with this issue as it is all over the internet as well. I have called GM corporate and they are not willing to address this safety concern as it would require a design change. A Kia dealership documented they performed the voluntary service recall SC252 HECU Inspection and determined my vehicle was within the guidelines and did not need replacement. 6 months later my vehicle experienced the symptoms of the HECU issue. ... k at the issue and told us to reschedule, that is a separate issue. Weeks later when we took it and asked someone to look at it, since their next appointment wasn't for almost a month. The mechanic said immediately we can't let you leave with this car it is not safe. The brake fluid had leaked into the HECU box. So either the voluntary recall is inadequate or dealerships are not properly doing the inspection. I can not find detailed information on the risk associated with this but this is similar to the fire risk Kia has had in the past. In any case leaking brake fluid into the Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit can't be safe. If this is a know issue why is this still a voluntary recall. My family was put in danger and Kia continues to ignore this is an issue.Read more

The service agent told that they fixed the power sensor due the elevation difference from Texas to California and I live in the valley. And it was covered under warranty, but they failed to inform me of this sensor was the beginning warning of faulty belt system, that the oil pump belt was rubber and it runs through the oil constantly and you should thinking about changing that now or next time. Nothing was mentioned, my Ford app would send me monthly updates and it would say Drive- Train is Ok, only lower tire pressure. I have called around to multiple Fords and mechanics and they said the same think oil pump issue, and Ford told me because I’m 7,000 miles over my warranty I am no longer cover and I am responsible for the services, and I am a single mom of 4 in Ca alone, that was my means of transportation, I can’t afford that cost. Especially when I was not made aware of this serious default. That is completely unacceptable as this is a 3 year vehicle that was well maintained, and the Ford Company and their Service staff are well aware of this issue which could’ve severely harm or even killed my family or others on the road if the engine seized up while on the highway, so they say nothing close to my warranty expired and then they are no longer responsible. I am in search of another car, which is so sad because it is a 2018 year car, which should be able to hold up and last for another 10+ years. ... nt gears and everything seems okay, so I proceed to return to my commute. Start coming to a stop light at an intersection and the vehicle stalls completely as I decelerate. I go to start the vehicle again as I'm in an active lane of traffic and it won't start. Try starting it again and it starts but the parking brake is fully engaged (not by me setting it but the vehicle self-engaged it) and I can't move the vehicle as it won't dis-engage the parking brake when I hit the gas. I had to get it towed to the dealership and mechanics told me later it was a fuel canister failure, and it isn't uncommon for the sensor in that element to fail which certainly didn't inspire great comfort. I drive it 5 miles after they assured me it was taken care of and all the same indicators come back on. Return to the dealership and they re-assessed the issue is farther down near the tank. Been driving it since the second repair attempt and so far no issues. Very disappointed and hesitant about this model's safety and reliability especially hearing about the rear-differential investigation and others having it decelerate at highway speeds suddenly. As this is my first car, I had hoped this was the right choice and would be solid for years to come, but now I question whether I trust the HRV model and Honda in general.Read more

I received the camper in February 2023. I communicated with the company about numerous visible defects on the camper, some just about quality, others that concerned me about safety (lots of rust on the body). I was reassured that these were not safety concerns. On my second short trip with the camper, within minutes of returning home, a large metal bracket dropped from the bottom of the camper. Wh
... en I looked closely, they had used a bolt that was just a tiny bit larger than the hole in the bracket it was supporting. Because of this construction decision, the bracket was not secure. Minutes earlier, I was towing the camper at 60 mph on a busy interstate. While I feel incredibly relieved it didn’t fall off until we got home, I believe this was a great safety risk to me and my husband and to the other drivers near us on the road that day. The bracket is large enough that I think it’s reasonable to assume that it may have caused me or other drivers to lose control of our vehicles if it had fallen off earlier. They replaced the bracket under warranty, and the service provider did an exterior inspection for other obvious defects. I continue to find flaws with the camper after that inspection (things that you wouldn’t be able to see, like leaks), many that impact comfort, but I worry that the company’s use of an improper bolt to secure that bracket and other flaws may be an indication that other materials and parts on the camper could be safety hazards if taken on the road. I am currently seeking a refund from the company because it does not work as advertised and I do not feel safe using it. I am concerned that the company does not prioritize safety in their manufacturing practices, and I hope that they can be investigated and held accountable.Read more

While driving my 2017 Ford Transit Connect at highway speed the panoramic sun roof and attached sun shade completely separated from the vehicle flew into the air and landed in the lanes of travel the vehicle behind me was nearly struck. This is an obvious safety issue had the glass struck another vehicle it would have likely caused serious damage and or injuries. The failure could have also caused
... serious injuries to the passengers to the vehicle had it been a partial separation with glass entering the passenger area. The vehicle is available for inspection until 15 Nov when the repairs will be completed. The vehicle was taken to Ford approximately 18 months ago for a wind noise complaint. The service department could not replicate the wind noise. My vehicle was not included in Ford's recall of the same model for sunroof adhesive failure. This was mentioned to the service department and I was told it was fine to continue to drive the vehicle. In the attached photos you can see signs of adhesive failure with pollen along the adhesive line. The only area that did not completely separate was as short section as noted in the pictures. 2016 Kia Sorento SX 3.3l engine failure at 87k miles. Head bolts backed out. Kia dealership verified the issue. The engine could have seized why driving which is a safety risk. No warning lights at all.

I was driving to work when I had to stop at a red light as I hit the accelerator it didn’t move. I continued to press it as I was the first car at a green light suddenly the car jerked forcefully and went. I arrived at work and called my father to look at it and he told me to drive it home which is about 7 minutes away. As I drove the car it began jerking violently and slowing down. It was not s
... afe for me to move off the road immediately causing cars behind me to slam on brakes and swerve around me. When I made it safely to the shoulder the gear shift was working but the pressing the accelerator didn’t really work until it continued jerking. The car had to be towed to my home and to the auto shop to be diagnosed. My transmission slipped due a form of malfunction of the transmission. The mechanic expressed there were no metal shavings in the pan. No warning lights appeared on the dash until after it completely broke and they still flashed on and off or changed each time. No crash occurred, it immediately taken to be diagnosed and has already been fixed. I would like for Ford to do an inspection but I just paid for a transmission so I can’t afford it. I have all the receipts and diagnostic information for the vehicle. I looked into the recalls and noticed the ford fusion 2.0L has an active transmission recall, but the only difference for my vehicle is a 1.5L.Read more
