My drivers door will only open about 6 inches. I have to crawl across the console to drive. I took it to ford dealer who said it was a ford issue but I was a few months beyond my 36 month warrenty so it wasn't covered. He also said not to roll down the window or it might shatter.

I was driving the car home from work and all of the warning lights on the dashboard came on- the check engine light, tire pressure light, traction control light, brake warning light, and the park emergency brake light. The "park" sign and p/r/d light lights were flashing. The car would not accelerate past 35 miles without it kicking back. I was terrified to drive the car on the interstate due to
... the acceleration kick back. I had to take a longer route home. I prayed the entire way. I keep up with my car maintenance with oil changes, etc. I even had the transmission fluid changed one year prior to this event. I had no prior issues, messages, symptoms, or other problems with this car prior to this event. It happened suddenly. I took the car to the dealership who initially told me the issue was a p0793 sensor and then a week later informed me that I needed a new transmission. I bought this car brand new, and it currently has 90,000 miles on it. Honda posted a bulletin in April 2021 they are aware that this make, and model has transmission issues, but because I am one year outside of the extended warranty, they are not willing to work with me.Read more

Recently, after approximately 4000 miles of driving, my steering has become “sticky.” When trying to make small adjustments in direction, my steering wheel gets “stuck” and requires more force than normal to make the steering correction. This extra force causes a greater change in direction than intended. This past week while traveling on an interstate with wet roads…this problem pres
... ented itself. It felt incredibly dangerous as I felt I was zigzagging across the lane. This issue seems to be somewhat intermittent, but I am struggling to determine under what conditions the problem presents itself. Again… this issue presented with around 4000 miles on the odometer. I currently have approximately 5200 total miles driven.Read more

The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that the vehicle was not obtaining the correct fuel mileage. The contact stated that, while tracking the mpg, the vehicle was averaging 15.7 mpg. The difference was approximately twenty percent less than the sticker mpg. The contact stated that the mpg sticker stated that the mpg would be 20 mpg. The contact stated that when the vehicle was

The chip was still in the fob, and the contact was able to open the vehicle. The contact stated he was concerned about not having an additional key. The contact was unable to obtain the second key for the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who test drove the vehicle and the vehicle was averaging 12.2 miles while driving in the town. The dealer informed the contact that the extra batteries in the vehicle might account for the difference in mpg. The dealer completed a wellness check and informed the contact that the vehicle was working as designed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 50.Read more

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my new Tesla Model Y RWD, which I received on December 3, 2023. I have encountered two major issues with the vehicle and the customer service. First, I was promised by Tesla representatives that I would receive six months of free Supercharging after delivery, as part of a referral program. However, this offer has not been activated yet. When I conta
... cted Tesla, one of the supervisors told me that I was not eligible for this offer, because I placed my order on September 23, before the program started. This is unacceptable, as I was assured multiple times by Tesla agents that they would honor the offer and match it before delivery. I also offered to take back my self-driving capability which is available to me for free for the first 3 months. Second, I have experienced serious problems with the auto-pilot feature of the vehicle. I have used it four times briefly in the last month, and every time the car slowed down significantly when it was supposed to cruise at 50 mph. Twice, I had to avoid rear collisions by pressing the accelerator or the brakes. I reported these incidents to Tesla through the app, but I have not received any response or explanation. The most alarming event occurred on December 26, when I was with my family on a return trip from IKEA in Woodbridge, VA. The weather was bad and the Tesla suddenly stopped on the road. I suspect that the front camera falsely detected an obstacle and caused the car to brake abruptly. These issues are not only frustrating, but also dangerous and potentially life-threatening. I am very disappointed with the quality and performance of the Tesla Model Y, as well as the lack of customer support and accountability. I request that Tesla either provide me with a satisfactory solution or compensate me for the inconvenience and risk that I have endured. I have a legal background and I am aware of my rights and remedies under the Lemon Law and other consumer protection laws.Read more

Tesla issues encountered with model X 2016: 1). Bought a demo car with a new car warranty, the car is supposed to be checked and verified that it meets safety guidelines, and certain standards, a).the car had a yellowish tinge had to get it buffed and detailed to look true pearl white cost $400 b). my tires were so bad the tire shop told me they are unsafe to drive so had to get them replaced
... the morning after I bought the car from tesla-ohio branch and got back to chicago I informed Tesla about all nothing was done cost approximately $2000 c).After I purchased the car before I could drive to ohio to pick it up tesla employee backed up the car into a pole I was told it will be fixed it was not cost $4k d). Wheels were all scratched up had to get them refinished cost approximately $900 2). Warrant is not honored always. Over the years camera and sensor very unsafe and every time Tesla says can’t reproduce Even after providing proof of videos, one point finally got tired paid out of pocket to replace front 2 sensors they never bothered to take it apart and verify it’s working safely and properly, after paying out of pocket at least the lane change worked 98% of time cost around $500-600 3).Auto pilot is misleadingly unsafe, cameras and sensors have either reached end of life or simply not working but definitely unsafe because sometimes the car drives like a drunk person on streets, confused if lanes merging I had incidents where it would have caused an accident had I not taken over and there was no warning 4). Advertised Range is deceptive and misleading, claim is my car to get 255 miles in reality I get around 120-130 which is more like half the range makes it hard to go out of town, an 8 hr trip becomes a 13-15 hr trip.Read more

Certain toyota models between 2012-2014 had a defective software and torque converter which if left alone, will end up ruining your transmission. Dealers were instructed to only pe

This is problematic in my case because even though my car is only at 110k miles, the 8 hear period expired last year and I just started having issues with the powertrain. I would have been able to notice these issues earlier if we didn't have covid for the past 3 years, which changed my daily routine from being a constant commuter to working from home so less miles were put on my car. Now I'm stuck, as well as many others, with a 7k bill to fix a torque converter and transmission all because toyota did not care about their customers. Subject: Safety Concerns Regarding Recent Model y Autopilot Update To Whom It May Concern at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), I am writing to urgently express my concerns about the latest software update for the Tesla Model Y’s autopilot system, which, in my view, significantly compromises safety. As a Model 3 owner for over one year, I have generally found the vehic
... le and its features to be reliable and safe. However, the recent update has introduced an overly stringent hands-on-wheel detection mechanism that is not only inconvenient but also potentially hazardous. The new update requires frequent and often forceful interaction with the steering wheel to assure the system of driver presence. This change is drastically different from my previous experience, where I received only one hands-on-wheel violation in two years. The current sensitivity of the system disrupts the smooth operation of the autopilot, leading to frequent and abrupt disengagements. I have found myself struggling to maintain the system’s activation, inadvertently causing the vehicle to exit autopilot mode multiple times. This issue goes beyond mere inconvenience; it actively detracts from driving safety. The need for constant and sometimes aggressive adjustments to satisfy the system’s requirements is distracting and can lead to erratic vehicle behavior. The irony is stark: a system designed to enhance driving safety and ease is now a source of potential danger and stress. The unpredictability and over-sensitivity of the updated system could lead to dangerous situations, especially on highways or in heavy traffic, where sudden disengagement of the autopilot can be particularly risky. As a driver, I now find myself more focused on keeping the autopilot engaged than on the actual driving conditions and surroundings, which is surely contrary to the feature’s intended purpose. Thank you for your prompt attention to this serious safety concern. Sincerely, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMRead more
