I took it to another specialized Mini mechanic in the area for a second opinion. This mechanic states the cause of intermittent failure is from the Auxillary Coolant Pump for the Turbo. ... nstructed to take the vehicle to the dealership owner's body shop but due to the mileage on the vehicle it was not recovered under warranty. At the body shop we were asked if the car had been in an accident or if a strong wind had blown on the door. Neither applied. The car has not been in a single accident nor a strong wind pulled or pushed on the door. Was told that we would incur a cost of nearly $3,000, because the whole door would need to be replaced. Was told again that this was not covered by factory warranty. On the estimate from the body shop they listed "t-boned" as reason for damage. We reached out to our extended warranty and they wanted to talk to the body shop but the body shop refuses to work with the warranty company and only speak with our auto insurance. We are in the process of looking for another body shop that might reach out to the warranty company to see if there is any chance this is covered. We contacted Ford Motor Company Customer Service and was told that there is not a recall on the defect and there was nothing they could do. The only way to get the car back running normally was to turn the car off wait a few minutes and turn it back on. I have taken car to the dealership 3 times and once they connected it to a diagnostic machine which said "I had a code" and those codes were supposedly corrected, but the same warnings remain. It is not reproduceable and I have not been able to capture a pic of the occurrance. Greetings, after 3 dealership attempts to correct the TIPM - NHTSA 19V813000 recall, my Jeep still stalled 4 times at highway speeds. I narrowly averted being rearended several times. I am terrified to drive the vehicle! I have yet another dealership appointment Friday, January 12, 2024 to correct the issue. Previous visits could not reproduce the problem or show any code errors. ... nings at all during these malfunctions, only the loss of braking and power steering did I realize the vehicle had stalled. Are there any remedies afforded to me at this point from Chrysler? The vehicle has only 124,000 miles. I've been extremely lucky that I haven't crashed or injured another party to date, but I fear it could happen at any time since this is my only transportation to and from work.Read more

I have had numerous lights, noise, continuously for the last 7 years have replaced numerous parts, only to last awhile then the lights, noise return. Seems there is no cure for this malfunctioning problem, have heard GM is aware of these problems but have never received a letter regarding them, the anti-lock traction control braking system on these cars are headaches and troublesome, and expensive

On December 28, 2023, the "Fasten Seat Belt" sign (rear passenger side seat) and sensor in my BMW x6 starting buzzing even though no one is seating on that seat. I subsequently brought my car to the dealership and the service consultant did an ocular inspection of my seat belt and looked inside the buckle with a flashlight because the seat belt will not lock in place. ... t the metal that is supposed to hold the seat belt in the buckle is missing or stuck. Because at that time my car has 59,000 miles, I was told that the warranty has now expired (50,000) and that I have to pay for the diagnoses and fixing of the car seat. Now, the "Fasten Seat belt: sensor for the rear middle seat is also lighted and making the "buzzing sound" even though no one is seating in the middle seat. I believe that my seat belts have become defective and given that I purchased my car around May 10, 2020 - I should not have to pay for fixing seat belt problems for a new car given the safety need for these belts. I would like NTSB to compel BMW to fix my seatbelts.Read more

Suddenly, without warning, the radio changes stations (goes from SXM to radio, etc) and the entire display goes amok switching from radio to climate control to other functions. Then the climate control system malfunctions causing the temperature to continuously go up as well as the heated seat and steering wheel to get hotter and hotter. Today (now that it is out of warranty) they say they have to reset the radio thing ($200-ish) and maybe replace the entire system ($1300-ish). It was a snow/ rain day I had my wipers on and was stopped at a traffic light when my engine stopped and I got a message on my dashboard “ engine stopped power steering low”. This vehicle is new with less than 5000 miles. I had to turn off the engine and restart the car in the middle of traffic.

The second row seat belt is weak and unbuckles suddenly. My child's seatbelt will unclick spontaneously after driving. It is a hassle to click when putting seatbelt on. Big safety hazard for family members sitting in second row seat as they are left unprotected during an accident.
