In this instance, and in every instance after that, the trailer brakes would not activate right away, or at all. The system is incredibly intermittent. My smartphone was mounted on my dash and the system was displayed in the foreground of my phone as the app indicates it is not intended to work in the background of the phone. There were no injuries as the hitch I use prevented a full on sway situation. However, had my hitch failed for some reason and the trailer began to sway out of control I would have been unable to regain control of the trailer because the braking system was not working properly. This could have resulted in a complete loss of control of my vehicle and trailer causing a severe car crash. I have used this product since August of 2023 which is when I purchased it. The system worked great up until a new app was created and the old app was discontinued. It was after downloading this new app that I discovered there are very real concerns within the new app. According to other reviews I have read online within the app store to download this new app (Lippert One Connect Auto) almost all of the reviews describe similar situations. This product is incredibly dangerous with the current version of this app. I have contacted Lippert to inform them and they confirmed this is a known issue and they are "being discussed to see how we can resolve it with the requirements that new operating systems have". There were no warning lamps before, the vehicle has not been inspected yet, but I assume it will be after I have reported this very issue to the insurance company. The CVT malfunctions after about an hour of driving. There is a failure of power transfer to the drive wheels. The engine rpms increase but there is no forward motion resulting in the vehicle being stranded in traffic. I spoke to the nearest Nissan dealer which is one hour from my home in Mountain Home, AR and was told that this is a known problem and is an indication of imminent CVT failure.

I received recall 22V-426, the dealer reflashed my vehicle but the problem still exists. My brake lights stay on, stability, auto park, traction control and engine lights come on. The dealer now says I need to replace the exact part listed in recall at my own cost. My state inspection has expired and fails a new safety inspection due to this problem.

I kept trying to start the vehicle with no success, still getting the warnings. My spouse arrived after 15 mins and when she opened the hood and wiggled some cables around, we were able to start the car up and it was like it went through a factory reset as the memory for the driver seat went really close to the steering wheel. We called roadside assistance thinking we need to get this towed to a dealership but cancelled it after seeing it would start and my spouse driving it around the grocery parking lot carefully. When we got it to the dealership, it wasn't having those issues and they couldn't do much for it. On 2/10/24, the check engine light came on. We took it to the dealership on 2/12/24 and they told us the PCM malfunctioned. They did a software update on the PCM, which the dealership said has fixed the problem for now. Just worried this is going to happen again and will happen when I'm in a place where maybe my spouse can't come or we are traveling long distance. Prior to this incident, the dash (MPH, Gas level, Oil level, Engine Temp) of the vehicle, which is entirely digital, flickers like there is a short in the wiring somewhere. It doesn't happen every time we drive it, just sometimes (maybe 35% of the time). This was happening shortly after purchasing the vehicle in July 2023. However, my SUV has no warranty and I was told engine replacement is not covered. This poses a risk to my daughter with the possibility of engine fire if coolant burns out, not to mention hesitation at lights while turning that can cause an accident. SUV is available for your inspection. I feel Ford issued a TSB to prevent a recall so they do not have to address problem with all the vehicle. This is not a sustainable or reasonable situation. We have found that the NHTSA issued a recall for replacement of the Steering Sensor Cover in 2015 , but did not for 2016 and beyond model years for the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. We implore the NHTSA to recall all of the aforementioned vehicles that experienced this failure. Please help us by defraying the cost of replacement and programming and hold GM to repair our unit, and all of the others needing repair. This expense ethically and morally should be borne by GM. This car consumes oil no matter what you replace. Replaced the pcv valve. Oil cooler and various other parts and still consumes one quart of oil per 100 miles. This phone overheating issue is affected by the foam sleeve and glove box compartment near the engine, especially during the summer months. I contacted Honda to express my concerns about the potential safety risks associated with distracted driving caused by these malfunctions. Unfortunately, their response was dismissive. They claimed that Android Auto is an "added function" not covered under warranty and denied responsibility for the issue. Additionally, they downplayed the overheating foam sleeve as not a design flaw despite acknowledging potential changes in future models. I am deeply troubled by Honda's lack of accountability for the defective foam sleeve and the safety implications of the malfunctioning infotainment system. Vehicle in a motor vehicle accident, hit from behind with great force. Airbags did not deploy. Three occupants in vehicle. The frame was easily damaged of the vehicle causing it to be totaled out. I was driving to work this morning, February 7th, 2024 driving at freeway speeds. My Tesla touchscreen dropped out and went completely dark. The reset process is to press and hold for about 30 seconds and another 30 seconds for the full restart. I attempted this twice and proceeded to pull off the highway.
