... enced uncontrolled acceleration and difficulting in steering. I chose not to exit and fought to keep the vehicle in varying freeway lanes attempting to brake to which the vehicle continued to attempt to accelerate against the braking, I also simultaneously and frantically continued to push the right stalk upwards in attempt to disengage Autopilot assuming that was causing the unintended acceleration. I was fighting to keep the car in a lane with faulty steering at time awakwardly steering to avoid slower moving vehicles. I eventually ended up coming to a complete stop in the middle lane of I-15 north bound 9/10ths (nine tenths) of mile north of my intended exit (mile post #278 Pioneer Crossing). Because of faulty controls I was afraid to try to move the vehicle to the side — I immediately put on emergency flashing lights and called 911 on my cell phone. While nervously waiting for emergency services approaching vehicles slowed and made their way around me — per instruction I stayed in my vehicle with seatbelt on. One large pickup truck struck my vehicle driverside rear as he passed by and failed to stop. Utah Highway Patrol and Fire Department Ambulance arrived within approximatley ten minutes. Two highway patrol officers stopped traffic and assisted in me slowing driving my vehicle to the center emergency lane. One office stayed with me until tow. He commented the right rear wheel appeared not aligned correctly suggested the rear axle was possibly broken. I was not injured beyond being extremely frightened. No passengers.Read more

I took the car into the dealership to diagnose the reason that I was getting a Seat Belt light and they said that the guide suggested to do a zero point reset on the seat. When they attempted this they said that it failed and now the system has an airbag light on. There is no more seat belt light on now for the passanger side, but there is a hard error code for the airbag system on the passenger

I saw that there was a voluntary recall on a 2016 edition and it said that if the zero point reset should fail then the OCS module needs to be replaced, but now they are saying tha the OCS module and Seat need to be replaced. This looks to be like an issue with the model itself. The reason this is a safety issue, is that now the airbags will not work on the passenger side. This is caused by the zero point procedure that Infiniti has instructed their techs to do. I believe they are causing issues and had this not been needed then I would not have had an airbag issue. If there was an airbag issue before this procedure then the symbol was not correct and was false. It was a safety issue since the Passenger side airbag will not deploy in this case.Read more

Due to being unable to open the rear doors, safety of rear passengers in non-emergency and emergency situations is significantly compromised. My local mechanic has also told us that he has seen this issue with 2019 Mazda CX-5s and recommended we report them. Mazda SHOULD issue a recall, but I understand that is expensive for them. At the very least, they should alerting drivers to this possibility and voluntarily repairing these cylinders without cost to unsuspecting drivers who could end up with an engine fire. From early on, the vehicle had a hard shift from 7 to 8. This was discussed with the dealership and they claimed they couldn’t recreate it. This has been the life of the vehicle. About 6 months ago it began to hard shift in other gears. 3 to 4 being the most common. Almost causing me to be rear ended multiple times. Loosing speed at anytime and causing random speeds with the inability to regain speed until the car “found” a gear. I would be driving 60 mph and it would find a lower gear and jerk into gear. It needs a whole new transmission. FORD is aware of this issue with the 10R80 transmission. 3.5 eco boost. My car is un driveable now. It fails to find a gear. A quick Google search will showcase exact stories just like mine with people saying the exact same thing. Harsh shifting. Jerking. Grinding. Loosing speed while driving. FORD didn’t have a fix for anyone. And now new transmissions are the only fix. Please inspect.Read more
