CONSTANT SMELL OF GAS AND THEN COMPUTER ISSUED CODE P0456. DEALER FOUND A DANGEROUS SITUATION WHERE THE FUEL FILL PIPE AND ATTACHED VENT PIPE WAS RUSTING BADLY. SMALL RUST HOLES WERE IN THE VENT PIPE. THIS WAS CAUSING THE P0456 CODE AND ALSO LEAKING OF FUMES AND GAS. THIS COULD CAUSE A POSSIBLE FIRE SITUATION WITH THE VEHICLE.
