I HAD PURCHASED A 2007 SUZUKI FORENZA. IT HAD 7 MILES ON IT WHEN I DROVE IT OFF THE LOT. AT APPROXIMATELY 56,000 MILES IT STARTED PUTTING ITSELF IN NEUTRAL GEAR AND INTERMITTENTLY WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO CHANGE FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE. I WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE IT IN NEUTRAL, TURN THE CAR OFF THEN BACK ON IN ORDER TO PUT IT IN DRIVE AND EVEN THEN THE CAR WILL JERK BETWEEN GEARS AND HAS RUN AT 4,000 RPMS A

NOW AT 82,000 MILES I CAN FINALLY AFFORD TO PAY THE $300 THE DEALER HAD TOLD ME IT WOULD COST TO REPAIR THIS RANGE MODE SWITCH THAT THEY SAY WAS CAUSING THE ISSUE. AFTER READING THE OTHER COMPLAINTS REGARDING THE 2006 SUZUKI FORENZA, AND SEEING HOW SIMILAR ALL THESE ISSUES ARE, I AM I FULL AGREEMENT THAT THIS PART SHOULD HAVE BEEN AND SHOULD BE IN THE FUTURE, COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY OR SHOULD BE RECALLED. I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH MY 2006 SUZUKI VERONA FOR THE PAST 2 1/2 YEARS. WE HAVE OWNED IF FOR ALMOST 3 1/2. WE TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER JUST A YEAR AFTER OWNING IT COMPLAINING OF A CLUNKING NOISE.
