SUZUKI IS CONDUCTING A RECALL UNDER CAMPAIGN 14V811000. WHEN I CONTACTED THE DEALER LISTED ON MY NOTIFICATION LETTER FROM SUZUKI, I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY HAD ENDED THEIR CONTRACT WITH SUZUKI, AND THAT, ALTHOUGH THEY COULD DO THE WORK, SUZUKI WOULD NOT REIMBURSE THEM FOR IT. BECAUSE THE NEAREST DEALER OTHER THAN THAT LOCATION IS A ONE-WAY 2.5 HOUR DRIVE, I CONTACTED SUZUKI. THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE
... WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO, AS NHTSA PROHIBITED THEM FROM REIMBURSING FOR REPAIRS OUTSIDE THEIR CURRENT DEALER NETWORK. THERE ARE ONLY TWO IN THE LARGO FLORIDA AREA. THE SUZUKI MOTOR COMPANY HAS REPEATEDLY FAILED TO RESPOND TO ALL MY REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE.
