2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport all recall repairs made. Catastrophic engine failure in March 2020. Hyundai took vehicle in to replace engine, called me a liar when I gave them towing receipt. Never got an apology, took 3 years to get the $35 towing fee back. Hyundai had another recall- don't park in garage- fire could occur and they changed out fuse. During this time my dash instrument panel stil
... l worked but after recall, I could not change from Jan 1, 2000 to current date. Hyundai told me to take it up with them during the next recall. I did and they took 4 days to tell me that it was a bad sim card in the large display and it would cost me $600. Hyundai has ignored 4-5 letters to their corporate HQ in California and have provided much disservice and do not care about customers, service nor support. They adjusted the transmission so that it jumps or shudders under load going up a hill. There is no sense wasting time dealing with local, mid Atlantic or National Hyundai representatives as they do not care about quality, service so I have instructed loved ones to buy Honda or Subaru instead of Hyundai or Kia. I want to write to South Korea HQ of Hyundai but that does not seem to work. Hyundai HQ- 10550 Talbert Avenue, Fountain Valley, CA 92728 0850, USA is worthless. Their head of customer service told me that she is the highest ranking person with whom I will deal with as she accused me of lying to her about my $35 cash tow, plus my insurance payment and a $10 tip. I could not get an apology nor anyone from Hyundai Corp to deal with this customer dis-service representative. I guess I am lucky that the car is still working with transmission shuddering but a new engine almost 60k miles ago. I will trade in shortly and supplement my kids payments to buy anything but Hyundai or Kia products in the future. Heck when I bought it the dealerships first oil change took 3 hours as they lost the car and never provide the free car wash. Total rip off and they don't careRead more

I bought the car in March 2023 and took the car for maintenance of 5k at Acura dealership at north Orlando and after that the car came never the same. The car is making so much noise skewing and clicking noise every time you turn the streering wheel. The dealership said the noise is from nuts and bolt and they did change it and noise became more loud 2nd time they said it is the front break and th
... ey did change it and the noise still the same and more of clicking noise with every tire turns . I do have a video but I could not upload it. Then for 3rd time and car been sitting at dealership for a month now they said this noise is normal and happens with all Acura MDX models. The Loaner I have is an MDX that never makes any noise . The car was running perfectly fine before the maintenance. Now noise and steering wheel 🛞 very loose and does not feel the same as before and you can hear 2 different noises in car one with breaks on and one with car or park and just Turing the steering wheels. So unbelievable that the damaged my car and I barely have mileage on it and changing all of those parts and when they came to a point that they can’t solve the issue they are saying it is a normal noise. Is it in car manual ? Why you changed all those parts to start with if that car and noise were normal? Too many questions and hidden parts for the dealership and Acura manufacture they just know half of the story and only listen to dealerships. I don’t feel safe driving the car with all of those issues and having two kids with me all the time.Read more

At first the check engine light was on and the car would not start. The dash would display all the lights and at one point it turned off while driving luckily I was going 20-30mph. Took it to the dealership and they said an Intake Valve had to be replaced and it was covered by the warranty. Next the engine light was on and a MAP censor had to be replaced which wasn’t covered. Once again the engi

Each time it has effected how the car drives and is dangerous especially on the interstate because it will not go over 20mph. When the car is in reverse it will shake and turn off displaying auto start stop issue and place the car in park. It will then turn off. It is hit or miss on when the check engine light and maintenance light will come on and each time the symptoms are the same. No one has provided a solution. When cruise control is engaged, the vehicle suddenly decelerates, (at times dropping speed by more than 20 mph in less than 2 seconds). This occurs as often as 5-10 times in a single 60mi trip, and occurs at least once per trip on this same route (divided highway, sometimes with hills, often with no other cars ahead of or around the vehicle, speed 60-70mph) These events are unsafe because unexpect

On August 31, 2023, my car had break services that included all four breaks replaced and serviced at Ford dealer Oxnard, CA. Today, 9/27/23, on the way to the doctor's office on the local street, about half a block's distance to a Stop sign, the Traction Control System light flipped on and the breaks turned loose and started speeding up toward a women pushing a baby carriage crossing the street.
... The breaks didn't respond so I quickly turned to the turning lane to avoid hitting that woman and baby carriage. What I wanted to know is, normally, when the TCS fails, the car speed would slow down. But in my situation, the car, as if had a mind of its own, speeding up toward that woman crossing the street pushing a baby carriage! Is the speeding caused by the TCS suddenly turning loose while I had my foot on the break, so released its energy, or is the 2010 Ford Fusion can be installed remote control and remotely manipulated by someone with malicious intention to cause injury? Since this type of situation can impact many drivers and could cause serious injuries to drivers and pedestrians, I ask for a investigation into what could have caused this danger, so to prevent it from happening again. When opening the sunroof (it opens with the press of a button, a part flew off of the sunroof and it came off of the tracks). I’ve since read that other owners of kia tellurides have had failed sunroofs as well. Thankfully no cars were hit when our sunroof flew off but the risk was there. This is a safety issue that needs to be investigated. If the failed part is backordered, that could indicate that there may be a big demand for the part because it is failing.Read more

Hello I recently test drove a new Tesla Model S. As I was making a turn, another car whose driver was not being attentive pulled out in front of me. I had to take evasive action and sound the horn. In that split-second I had to 'find' the horn while making the turn. (I was NOT able to activate the horn. It was ONLY through sheer luck that I avoided an accident). Did you know that the Tesla S h
... as a very small button that needs to be pushed to activate the horn? Even with both hands on the wheel in the proper position, it is extremely difficult to do so when driving straight. It is NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to activate the horn in the middle of a turn. I would go so far to say that yes, it IS IMPOSSIBLE to activate the horn while making a turn, without drivers taking their eyes off of the road. How can a driver push the very small horn button while making a turn, while at the same time looking at the potential hazard? I have been told that the Tesla S yoke steering wheel has a center horn. While that is great for the people who chose the yoke, MOST people dislike the yoke wheel and have purchased the normal steering wheel. That normal steering wheel is being driven by the vast majority of people who buy a Tesla. Who the heck wants to have a 1/2 wheel??? Another issue that could arise from this very small horn button is that someone unfamiliar with the car would think that the horn is in the middle of the steering wheel. Someone like a valet or friend or maybe even emergency personnel who have to move the car. In an emergency situation, a drivers first instinct is to slam their hand to the middle of the steering wheel to honk the cars horn. I urge anyone making a decision on this to PLEASE see for yourself and test drive a Tesla Model S. Does it feel safe to you? Is it that big of a deal to make the necessary changes and let owners take their car in for the change? One mans ego should not come before another persons safety. Touch screen driver information system has random display and audible warnings. Audio and navigation display cannot be controlled and does random radio channels and map displays. The screen developed bubbles under the front panel that appears to activate the touch sensor for the display. This condition is very distracting to the driver and might cause unsafe vehicle operation. The display changing
... and beeping during driving causes an unsafe situation. It also impacts the ability to use and see the rear view camera as the display is distorted due to the delamination/bubbles. This problem was identified by many Subaru Legacy and Outback owners in 2018 which led to a recall and warranty extension for repairs. The radio/nav display is manufactured by Harmon. It was widely reported in 2019 and the problem persists. Subaru contends that the display bubbles are caused by liquid contamination of the display, but this has not occurred in our vehicle, and dealers will not accept responsibility for the defective displays.Read more
