My truck recently started to leak oil onto my driveway so I took it to a local dealership to get it looked at. The service engineers diagnosed the problem as the Engine Oil Cooler line is detaching from the crimp causing oil to leak out. They also told me that there was a recall, see PDF attached, (#N212329640-01) that is associated with this problem. However, it only applies to my vehicle if it
... was manufactured in Canada and Alaska. My vehicle, I was told, was manufactured in Mexico. I brought it to the dealership and they told me this doesn't apply to my vehicles simply because of where my vehicle was manufactured. This is troubling information as the SAME issue that was part of a national recall is the SAME problem that is happening with my truck and could cause a major safety risk while driving, yet it is not part of the recall based off where it was manufactured. Specifically, the vehicle could be involved with "loss of propulsion" as stated in the original recall. This is too coincidental of an occurrence to simply ignore it which is why I wanted to file a complaint.Read more

My FSD Beta-equipped Tesla sometimes makes inappropriate lane choices while following the navigation route. After watching a video made by a Beta volunteer driver while testing a similar lane selection issue they had experienced across several FSD Beta firmware releases, I checked a Google Map navigation route that took the same turn onto the same street shown in the video. The path in the Google
... Map route correlated closely with the erroneous route driven during the test video. The vehicle initially turned into the correct targeted lane. The car was then moved left into the "suicide lane" with a median island in the path directly ahead. Tesla's Level 2 ADAS correctly "changes lane to follow route" and moves the car out of the incorrect center turning lane. I've experienced similar errors at times. This complaint concerns the route that brought the car into the center turn lane after making the left turn correctly. I documented these findings in a video. This is a very unsafe thing to have a 3 ton object rolling with no way for the vehicle to detect it is free rolling. I have a 2016 Honda CR-V. When temperatures are very cold, near and below freezing, the tailgate will not open until temperatures warm up or handwarmers are used for about 5 minutes or the use of heat from the hands eventually allows the tailgate to open. This is reported in Honda Bulletin 16-063. However, even after replacement of the tailgate opener switch by the dealer, the problem has reocc
... urred. No manual release exists. This can be safety issue when transporting children that require larger equipment, like strollers, or the elderly which requires wheelchairs. I went camping with the boys, and temperatures had fallen along with rain when we arrived at our campsite. It took a good 5-10 minutes using handwarmers for the tailgate to open and thus allowing the camping equipment and tents to be removed to be setup for the weekend. I believe this is a safety issue, because, what if an emergency had occurred and we had to pack and leave quickly. What if I was transporting a child or elderly person that required wheelchair that was needed right away. This issue with opening the tailgate does not occur when temperatures are warmer, or in very cold, thus I believe this to be a major design flaw that results in a safety issue.Read more
