2022 Hyundai Tucson with repeated check engine light and vehicle losing power. Vehicle losing power and inability to exceed speeds of 15 mph with vehicle shaking, knocking, and pedals shaking. ... code was P0303 which was a cylinder 3 misfire and second time - less than 4 months later- diagnostic code was a P0302 cylinder 2 misfire. Hyundai only repairs one injector at a time; refusing to do all 4 despite being a heavily documented issue on this make/model. This would be able to be confirmed by request. This was also confirmed both times by two separate independent service centers. Vehicle has about 25,000 miles on it and has had 3 check engine lights over the past 3 years of owning- it was bought new. The first time was 2 days of owning and it was a bad IAT that resulted in engine stalling once again. All 3 times the car was unable to be driven and created substantial safety concerns with inability to drive.Read more

FORD is apparently aware of the issue based on FORD forums, that replacement of windshield can comprise the coax cable. The company is using an outdated and less reliable coax cable to run sensors and cameras for an Electric Vehicle when a much more viable, pliable and reliable Fiber media has been available for over 20 years is shortsighted and cheap. Coax to run safety features also brings into question how that feature was safety tested. The vehicle was diagnosed by a Ford Dealership in PA, "U2107" code indicating an issue with the coax cable used to connect the sensors and camera. No component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others. Even though there were warning messages it is UNKOWN when the issue actually started or know exactly when the systems failed. I am sure FORD can check the messages store in the software.Read more

At about 32k miles the transmission quit working properly. It would go into neutral randomly and then slam back in gear. Took it to Ford and they did a warranty TSB repair. Then at 54k it started doing it again almost causing me to be in a collision with on coming traffic. Once again Ford performed a warranty TSB repair. Just got it back and it still doesn't work properly.

I took the car to the dealership to be fixed and spoke with a service employee. He told us that the issues were not acting up at the time of the visit so he couldn't fix anything. I then insisted I take his mechanic on a test drive with me where both issues presented, and they reported they would file a claim with Toyota. After several days of not hearing anything, I called the Service department manager, who did not answer, so I left a voicemail, and he never returned my call. The dealership never offered a loaner vehicle, or any solutions. I then contacted Toyota cooperate to seek further assistance with my concerns on 07//31/2024 at 17:56 pm CST and spoke with a Toyota Customer Advocate. A suspension bolt fell off while making a U-turn. It was linked to the lower arm. Hear a loud pop while backing out and made a left input on the steering wheel to complete the turn but the steering wheel will not turn. Check the right front wheel and it was toed inward. Upon research, this is a known and common issue with other Subaru Foresters with heated seats in the same model year (my Forester does have heated seats), but my VIN is not included in the Subaru recall for this specific repair. This greatly puts the passenger in my car at risk, as the sensor does not recognize that a person is in the seat while they are riding, and if we were to be in an accident, their airbag would not deploy. I am frustrated that this is a known, common safety issue that affects my model and year of car, but my VIN is not included on the recall list. I would expect that my car should also be included in the recall and fixed by the dealer at their expense as it is clearly documented many times on other 2018 Subaru Foresters.Read more

On May 10, 2024 while driving my 2014 GMC Terrain driving at about 65mph my car cut off while driving to the point that the car started slowing down which had med confused as to what was going on but thankfully I was able to safely move over to the side of the of the highway in order to be in safer position to start the car back up. There was no warrant signs that the car had cut off but I had the

So I was about 5 miles from my exit which I was able to get to the exit without the car cutting off again on the highway but the car cut off once again on the exit as my speed was decelerating. I took my car to Meineke Car Care a few days later and was told that my car needed to have the solenoid replaced and the timing chain kit which was what the diagnostic was showing. Once they were able to fully inspect the car I was told that the timing chain kit was broken and I had medal in my oil which was suggested that I replace my engine. This put me at risk of being in an accident that could have injured myself or someone. There were no warning indications. My check engine light was not on. I had to pay to have the engine replaced which before I had it replaced I took my car to another shop just to get a second opinion in which I had the engine replaced.Read more

The main head unit display (8") that controls the climate, audio and other control functions as well as the backup camera video feed is poorly made and subject to rapid delamination at edges and center. We reported and showed this problem to a Subaru dealer multiple times in past and they simply indicated it as 'temporary moisture' yet it is NOT moisture related and a design/manufacturing flaw.

... over I checked the oil and there was none on the dipstick. We just had numerous seals replaced on the engine within the last 8000 miles. We had it towed to a trusted shop that we frequent. They said that the motor was seized and there was no evidence of leaks. I called the local Hyundai dealer and I was told there was no coverage for the engine. Looking online I found many complaints from other people that have had the same issue with the same 3.3 liter engine. The engine was resealed due to leakage, however I had never needed to top off the oil since I bought the car. I have the oil changed every 3,000 miles or so. The shop that resealed the engine never took the heads off and stated that they did not see any evidence of major engine issues when they had the oil pan off. When driving the car loses power steering and is harder to control. I am at risk because I cannot control the car how I am suppose to. I have called before but there are no Hyundai service dealers close to me. There was nothing prior but now that it is happening there are warning lamps on.

Passenger air bag light on dash coming on, started off dinging even with no one sitting in the passenger seat. Now the Air bag light stays on constantly. I was told by the Subaru dealership near me that they found a B1650 in the system for occupant detection malfunction. ... e seat appeared to be wet, which it was not and has never had water damage. The vehicle is garage kept and has low mileage so minimal exposure. The dealership told me I would have to pay $160 for diagnostic and $1200 before tax to have the seat base replaced. I know there was a recall for the passenger air bag in the past which I did take into the same dealership who says the replaced the defective part. I feel the Subaru company should stand behind their product and correct this issue. I was told they would not guarantee the airbag would work, which is a HUGE safety issue.Read more
