Transmission has completely failed at 68,000 miles and 4 years old. Ford is willing to cover cost of the tramission with a “partial good faith” agreement but the dealership who provides the service is charging $5,656 to put in new transmission. Several incidents: 1) I was on a 3 lane road and gained some speed to get around a car, when I got into the other lane the car collision warning came on and slowed the car down significantly b/c it detected a car that was at least 300 feet in front of me. That is too far for a car accident. I was told by the dealership that the alogorithum between speed and object detection is what made the car r
... eact that way. Essentially it calculated that at the speed I was at I would have overtaken the car in front of me despite the fact that it was hundreds of feet away. This is dangerous and in no way would I have kept that speed and overran that car, besides I was getting back in the other lane to get on the interstate ramp in less than 100 feet. 2) I have small kids, in the morning I unlock the car and load them up into the car while I go back and forth to the house to get the rest of my things. I then started the car heading to my destination. While on the interstate my car kept trying to drag me back into a lane despite me wanting to change lanes. Turns out while I was loading my kids in the car they were searching for their "Kids Bop" radio station and hit all sorts of buttons, changing my button selection. I did not know how to change it back without reading the book. I had to pull over to the side of the interstate to google how to change the features. I was late to work and completely stressed out. The buttons shouldn't be that easy to change. And frankly shouldn't exist, they are dangerous. 3) Today I pull into my parking space at work and the bush in front of me is overgrown, the collision detection system detects the leggy limbs of the bush and slams on breaks flashing the collision notice. My head jerked forward and all of my belongings in the front seat of the car fly forward. This car has a mind of its own. I'm not driving the car, its driving me. These features are dangerous and I want them removed. This car is going to kill me!!!!!!!!!!!Read more

We received the recall notice NHTSA Recall Number25V467 and called both the dealer and Ford to inquire about our son's safety traveling from RI to FL and the potential safety issues related to this recall. Ford's only advice was to "hope" nothing happens before they have the parts to fix the fuel injector safety issue with no idea of the timeframe for the remedy. It is unbelievable that a company
... can alert customers to a known safety issue with no recommendations to ensure the safety of drivers or planned remedy. When a potential health or safety issue is identified in other industries, the product is immediately pulled from the market and customers are told to immediately discontinue the use or consumption. Why are automobile companies allowed to recommend to consumers that they continue to drive a car with a known fire risk until a remedy is in place? At a minimum Ford should offer free inspections of the impacted parts/systems to assess driving safety until a long term remedy is in place. This is at least the fourth issue with the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. I believe the fuel injector issue has had a previous recall that did not work. Ford offers no loaner cars, dealer transportation, or compensation for recall repairs causing owners added expenses and missed work time. How many recalls are allowed on a car model until the company is required to compensate owners? Regulations need to change to ensure driver safety as soon as a safety issue is identified and there should be mandatory compensation for owners that need to have a recall remedied, especially one that is reoccurring.Read more

Recall is for 25S12 FRONT HALF SHAFT INSPECTION red McCombs completed and passed on June 23 2025 a week later the shaft had been bent Ford is denying paying for the recall because it was initially passed. I’m writing to follow up on an ongoing issue involving my 2021 Ford EcoSport currently at your dealership, Red McCombs Ford. I’ve been without a vehicle for several weeks now, and despite mu
... ltiple text updates from Adrian, I’ve yet to receive a concrete response or resolution from Ford regarding the recall and repair process. As you are aware, my vehicle was inspected at your service department on June 23, 2025 in relation to Ford Recall 25S12, concerning improper axle half-shaft installation. At that time, I was told the axle was installed correctly. However, by June 30, the vehicle was back at your shop with a bent axle shaft — a serious failure that occurred less than a week after your team cleared it. This raises a critical concern. Given the nature of the recall — where improperly seated axles can cause spline wear, misalignment, or other stress-related damage — it is highly plausible that the damage was either missed during inspection or already underway when the vehicle was deemed compliant. Despite this, I have received no official update from Ford about whether the repair will be covered under the recall. The continued delay, lack of communication, and lack of access to a working vehicle have created a great deal of inconvenience and frustration. At this time, I am requesting the following: A written update on the current status of my vehicle’s repair and Ford’s determination. A copy of the inspection report from 6/23 outlining what was evaluated during the recall check. Confirmation that this issue is being escalated appropriately within Ford if a resolution is still pending. I would appreciate a prompt response so we can move forward in resolving this issue. You may contact me directly by phone or email.Read more

In June of this year, with about 82,000 miles I began to experience a clunk felt through the vehicle while slowing down from @35 mph upon the downshift. The clunk was more noticeable under braking, i.e. approaching a stop light. This went on for a few days growing more frequent and noticeable. On June 30th, 2025 I dropped my Explorer off at my Ford dealer's service department. The mechanic tes

I’d offer that at no time did I see and sort of dashboard indicators of any trouble. I’ve never pulled a trailer, modified the engine intake or exhaust systems, or had custom engine tunning performed. It’s a completely stock Explorer ST. It began just 600 miles after the factory warranty expired (36,000 miles), and two dealership repair attempts have failed to resolve the issue. I’ve reviewed public NHTSA complaints and discovered that similar issues are being reported in 2023 Wranglers, including full power loss and no-start conditions. This issue is consistent with symptoms reported in the NHTSA’s July 2024 investigation into 2023–2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe models for electrical system failures. I am submitting this complaint regarding a recurring issue in the coolant bypass valve of my 2019 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium. Although there was no check engine light, the vehicle displayed a persistent warning: “Engine Maintenance Required – Visit Dealership.” This message repeatedly appears on the instrument cluster and blocks critical driving information, including the speedometer, fuel eco
... nomy, and other key displays. Even when the driver manually cancels the message, it returns within minutes. This creates a constant distraction and obstructs visibility, which poses a safety risk during driving. I took the vehicle to the dealership, where they diagnosed the issue as an internal short circuit in the coolant bypass valve and retrieved diagnostic trouble code P268115. This code relates to a malfunction in the valve’s electrical control system, which affects the engine’s ability to regulate temperature effectively. Toyota currently offers a Customer Support Program (CSP) for the coolant bypass valve, but only if the valve is leaking coolant. However, my vehicle's failure was due to an electrical defect, and Toyota does not cover this under the same program. This creates an unfair burden on owners and fails to address the full scope of the issue, even though the results—loss of proper cooling function—are the same. Many RAV4 owners have reported similar problems online, but no recall or technical service bulletin has been issued for this kind of failure. I believe this defect raises genuine safety concerns, including: Driver distraction due to persistent warning messages Obstruction of critical dashboard information Potential for engine overheating or reduced performance I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate this issue as a potential safety-related defect and determine whether Toyota should be required to expand support or issue a recall for this component, regardless of whether the failure is due to coolant leakage or internal electrical malfunction.Read more

... rian! Only the house and car were damaged. This was sudden and there was no warning or prior occurrence to make me aware of the problem. But when contacting Subaru corporate for assistance in resolving this, they claimed they never heard of any class action lawsuits or problems such as this. We need help dealing with Subaru. They are playing with us.Read more
