I just had gotten my 2025 Dayton R/T EV and i was on the highway in my first drive…. Enjoying the hell out of my experience. I had driven abt 12 miles. Even got a powershot in when i had a free right away in the highway and man… 😔😞☹️ im so saddend to share that a car got over on my car and completely swiped the right side, then got over in front of me and slammed on their brakes….
... All at 65 mph. Man… my car’s sensors didnt help at all and my airbags didnt deploy. My sensors never detected the car on the right getting close or that it slammed on brakes…. All my sensors are still green in the car, but my abs and other lights are on. Airbags didnt deploy crashing st 65 mph snd I stopped breathing for a few minutes the other driver snd passengers said. All I saw was the csr slam on brakes and then I woke up with 5 cops and 2 ems bombarding me with questions I had no clue to answer as my head was dizzy. Once I got to my senses they asked why my air bags didnt deploy and if it was a 2025 ev how did i get brake checked with security sensors and regen brakes. And I cant answer that only dodge can… ☹️ man im devesated. My car is also still registered to dodge… so when I went to the impound and shiwed them my info they told me I couldnt get the car out even with me showing them my welcoming emails apps etc. so now the car is stuck there. I, the owner of a 2020 Subaru Forester am writing to you in regards to an issue with my vehicle’s Eyesight program. Over the past month, there have been several instances where the Eyesight program fails and caused the vehicle to suddenly stop without warning. This prevents me from safely moving the vehicle to the side of the road as the car stops. In other words, the car abruptly stops on the s

I am writing to report a persistent and dangerous safety defect in my 2014 Honda Accord involving the VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) / ABS / ABS modulator / ABS ECU system. The ABS, VSA, and other warning lights have been on for years, first noticing around 60-70,000 miles indicating an ongoing fault in the system. The dealer has diagnosed a bad ABS/VSA modulator and/or ECU and stated this is a co
... mmon issue and that often this part is on backorder. Most recently, while turning the car, the system locked or mis applied the brakes, causing the car to lose control and spin out. Luckily I did not crash as the car behind me was at a safe distance, but I ended up on the side of the highway in a dangerous situation. The Center for Auto Safety shows multiple complaints for 2014 Accord, including: ABS, VSA, traction control, stability control failures; owners say they were told a VSA modulator needs replacing Owners report DTC codes like 81‑19 (“yaw rate sensor internal circuit malfunction”) and 81‑20 (ABS CPU internal circuit malfunction) in 2014 Accords. Owners report ABS and VSA not functioning, lights all on, and concerns that braking or stability control will fail, especially in poor conditions. Given the large number of similar reports for this model and year, this appears to be a systemic defect in the ABS/VSA modulator/ECU system in 2013‑to‑2017 Honda Accords, including 2014. Because this is a safety system (brakes, stability control), the defect creates a real risk of crash, injury, or death. I request that NHTSA: Open a formal investigation into the ABS/VSA modulator/ECU failures in 2014 Accords (and related years). Determine whether a recall is needed. Require Honda to provide fixed or replacement units without cost to owners or reimbursment Ensure parts are available (i.e. not back‑ordered) and that the repair is effective and safe.Read more

URGENT SAFETY CONCERN/ISSUE On [XXX], while driving my 2026 Kia Carnival Hybrid SX Prestige, it lost all power without warning, leaving me unable to accelerate or control the vehicle. This created an unsafe situation as I was traveling at 40 mph when all power was lost. What happened to me was a serious safety hazard. The vehicle was brand new with only 1351 miles at the time. Several warning lig
... hts came on including the hybrid system warning light. The vehicle was not drivable; there was no power at all. I had to tow the vehicle to a Kia dealer where it took 17 days to repair with a new power module. On [XXX], (after the vehicle was repaired), I was driving the vehicle when the POWER alert flashed on the dashboard. I did not lose total power yet, but the literature advises that I take the vehicle into the dealership asap to have them look into the Power warning light coming on. I have an appointment on September 18, 2025. I have reported my issue to Kia customer service, and the dealership is aware of what is going on. I believe what is happening, (the abrupt loss of total power while driving) may be a widespread defect affecting the Carnival hybrid system in 2025 and 2026 model years. This is a serious safety issue that need corrected before someone is killed or seriously injured. Total loss of power at 40 mph or more cannot be permitted to happen. There should be some sort of safety bypass whereby the gas engine totally engages to the exclusion of the hybrid system, so total power is NOT lost at High speeds. I went to leave to take my son to school the next morning and before I even pulled out of the driveway, the same error message had kicked on and the engine would seize and died- which is the same exact thing it did whenever it initially broke down…. Well they had it towed back to them on Wednesday September 10th so they could take a look at it since it was most likely related to the recall… So they called me the next day to let me know they had checked it out and it was an issue with the PCM and is unrelated to the recall and it will be $1,600 to fix it even though it’s doing the SAME EXACT thing it did whenever it broke down the first time. I found information supporting the fact that the issues from the recall can most certainly cause damages to the PCM. I also found out my car was part of a class action lawsuit and the Plaintiffs allege that Ford internally acknowledges that there is no permanent fix for the alleged defect; however, it continued to manufacture and sale the car. My truck will not update its internal software that controls everything from windows to ABS braking system. My truck has numerous pending updates, verified by my dealer and FMCO update section, that are not being sent to my truck. The updates are there for a reason, to improve and to prevent issues. My safety is at risk because these updates address transmission issues, braking issues, electical issues etc all that could fail and cause an accident. Add these failure to update with the exisisting fuel pump problem and the truck is a serious problem . I am told by Ford that my updates are "stuck" and that there is nothing that they can assist with and I must take to a dealer and pay for the updates that others get for free. But, should there ever be a "recall" for my trucks failure to update, I can apply for a refund. I have about 12 different updates that will not download to my truck. In the history of the truck, this is not the first time it would not download updates. Shortly after it was built it was taken to Ford and a "forced update for the Bluecruise technology" had to be done. Critical software updates to the trucks main computer that do not initiate is not acceptable and a danger to this truck! Thank You!Read more

I hard steered L and avoided a head on collision hitting the trailer in front of me on the passenger side front of the car.

I purchased this vehicle in May 2024 within 2 months of purchase the eyesight function malfunctioned. I took it back to the dealership where I purchased it and they attempted to diagnose it at cost of parts and I ended up paying a few hundred dollars for that repair. That didn’t work and they offered to attempt something else but this was just guessing. Then a few months down the line I receiv
... e a post card in the mail for a ‘warranty extension’ on the exact issue I am having. I take it to the Subaru dealership once and they had me return a second time saying they couldn’t diagnose it at that time because the lights that appear on and off weren’t appearing for them. Returning a second time they said they were able to diagnose the issue but the warranty only covers 75%. The remaining 25% that’s left to me comes to $1098.34. The issue I have with this is being it is a safety concern. The features eyesight provides are to be additional safety features. The biggest one being the cruise control that has gone out on me while using it. Going high velocity down the freeway using it and it shuts off completely, luckily I it hasn’t caused an accident and there hasn’t been anyone behind me when it happens and no one to close in front of me but this has happened on multiple occasions to myself, my boyfriend and most recently a friend when we went out of town when I didnt think to inform her of it. We no longer use the cruise control being it is scary and a risk to our safety. I have escalated to Subaru of America who says that it is a warranty extension to care for their customers but the representative I spoke with denied it being a known issue. He says the warranty expired in 2016 for my vehicle but Subaru extended it as to care for the customers. With that in mind I do not think I’m the only one with this issue and concern or else why would they put this extension out if they’re no just trying to be compensated and avoid a recall for the issue.Read more

On September 3, 2025, I was driving down the I-10 in Biloxi, MS, at 6:45 a.m. It was around 75-80 degrees and the sun was just barely coming up. All of the sudden the glass in my sunroof completely shattered. There were no cars around me and it was an open portion of the road, so no rocks were flung up by nearby vehicles. Luckily, my kids were not with me, because a majority of the glass ended up
... in my backseat, ranging from huge chunks of about 3-4 inches in diameter to smaller shards being everywhere. I cut myself several times while trying to clean it up, so I can only imagine what it could have done to my kids! Luckily, I was able to keep my cool and not swerve off the road, as it was quite startling.Read more

My 2026 Chevrolet Equinox has been having problems; when cruise control is set it randomly puts itself into emergency park mode, the infotainment system loves to shut down which affects the entire vehicle. When this happens I can’t see my speed, every screen goes black and I have to pull over and reset the entire thing which takes a good 30 minutes, sometimes more. I have taken it to a shop whic

The problems are not currently resolved, it would’ve had to been in the shop for over a month and I can’t afford to be without a car that long with zero option of a rental. I have children. I got my car in May of this year with only 4 miles on it, been having the issues ever since.Read more

Coolant intrusion defect. The engine coolant leaks into the combustion chamber, due to a failure in the engine block design. TSB 19-2346 issued by Ford addresses this known and serious issue for my 2018 Ford Edge, 2.0L EcoBoost engine. In 2024, I purchased a used, 2018 Ford Edge with 49k miles. A few months after I purchased this used vehicle at a dealership, my Check Engine light came on. The v
... ehicle showed other symptoms of white smoke, coolant loss, misfiring and rough idle. I brought my car to a local dealership (not the same dealership that I purchased the vehicle) and they confirmed the coolant intrusion defect. When I purchased the vehicle, it didn't come with a warranty. I tried getting help from by calling Ford Customer Service, and they offered no goodwill assistance and no coverage assistance at all. I ended up having a new engine put in my vehicle for $7,000. This was done by a local car repair shop, not done at a dealership. I now have to pay a loan for $7k on top of my monthly car payment that existed before the new engine. Although my vehicle is no longer under warrant, I understand this issue stems from a documented manufacturing defect and has affected a wide range of Ford models. I've taken good care of my vehicle and it has been maintained regularly. I want to retain confidence in Ford as a brand that stands behind its products, but I didn't get anywhere with Ford after submitting a case and speaking with a representative and also a manager. I don't know what else to do in trying to get reimbursed for the replacement of the engine of $7,000. I would like to be added to any potential class-action.
