... ership to have it repaired on November 17, 2022. At approximately 5:30am on December 28, 2022 the contact owner was heading to work. When the light turned green at a major intersection, the contact owner's stated the vehicle hesitated accelerating at low speeds despite being in gear (D). Fortunately, the owner pulled over at a shopping center parking lot and had the vehicle towed to the local Ford dealership. At the time of failure, no warning lights or messages were illuminated or displayed from the dashboard. Later that morning, the owner's son reproduced the issue and documented it on video. When the owner's son put the car into reverse (R) the car moved forward and when put into drive (D). The opposite occurred along with hearing a grinding (increased RPMs) and a popping noise when finally in gear. The failure mileage on the vehicle was 135,373 miles. The local Ford dealership confirmed the transmission pump had failed and would cost $1,600 out of the owner's pocket to tear down the transmission despite the owner purchasing an 3rd party extended warranty service from the local Ford dealership.Read more

... f the time when you put it in D. the engined raced but the vehicle moved slowly. I took my foot completely off the gas pedal but the gas pedal stayed fully engaged. I pushed on the brake and managed to stop the vehicle with the engine still racing and the vehicle still trying to lunge forward. I tried to put the vehicle into neutral but it bypassed neutral - even the dotted indicator transmission light bypassed neutral and jumped into reverse. the car lurched but i still had the brakes fully engaged... this continued with me again tryying for neutral - then I gave up and concentrated on taking one of my 2 feet off the brake and reaching under the throttle. I had to slip my seat belt off and slide down to accomplish this. I did manage to do it and the gas pedal did disengage. I estimate the pedal was stuck and the engine revved full throttle for four minutes or a little longer. My son was outside the vehicle (waiting for me to pick him up) and he witnessed this from outside the vehicle. This is obviously very dangerous and could be deadly. This is a 2020 Nissan Murano S. The vehicle has been well maintained and taken to the dealership for maintenance periodically. They didn't notice the smell but said I needed to replace both front lower control arms for $1655.88. Front lower control arms splitting, dry rotting. This car was purchased brand new and only had 62K miles. This appears to be premature wear and of course the warranty as passed, which would have been 5 years or 60,000 miles. Out of all the visits I had, no one seen this premature wear on the control arm until this visit. This doesn't happen overnight, and I think Nissan should cover this. On December 14th, I was driving my 2017 Ram 3500 with 95,000 miles down the road when I encountered a tree completely blocking the roadway. ... cause of this failure. Once stopped I was able to look under the hood and found the top bolt that holds the brake master cylinder to the firewall sheared completely off. This caused the brake master cylinder to fall away from the firewall and disabled all braking functions. I had the vehicle towed to a Ram Dealer and then contacted Ram (Stellantis) for a reason and solution to fix the failure. They sent an engineering analysis associate to look at the the truck finally on the January 9th. They then sent a very generic letter on the 12th stating that they don't believe it is a manufacturing issue. They will give the dealer or myself no further information on what they found, what the cause was, or how the dealer should proceed to fix the problem. The vehicle is still currently sitting at the Ram Dealer and has not been fixed if you would like to inspect it. I brought the vehicle in twice for repair/replacement of the battery. Not resolved. •Eyesight Driver Assist malfunction. Upon presenting the issue, the Service Manager suggested that the cause was sunlight hitting the sensors and he did not work on the issue. Even when I noted that the problem happened in the evening as well as during the daytime, no response. •Check Engine Warning Indicator signifying any number of important malfunctions while also causing Cruise Control, Eyesight, RAB, and other critical, electronic systems to deactivate. More importantly, the Subaru Service Center informed me that there is a life-threatening risk associated with the underlying cause of this Check Engine light appearing, and, consequently, they would not permit me to drive the car from the Service Center until necessary repairs and part replacements were made. I have been waiting over two months for the automobile to be repaired and returned to me. I had previously brought the vehicle in specifically for this issue. At that time the Service Center failed to correct the problem and suggested it would disappear on its own (the warning light would turn off after a number of ignition starts). This appears to be a known problem to the vehicle manufacture but no recalls have been put out. Parts alone I was quoted $2,500 not including labor and programming costs. Vehicle has only been inspected by a repair shop. Symptoms prior to failure - I bought the car used from a dealership. Took the car back to the dealership a few weeks after purchase because I kept hearing a grinding sound coming from the front end while traveling at highway speed. They test drove it and inspected and said they could not find anything wrong. They ended rotating the tires. This did not help. Drove the car for a year feeling like something was wrong under the hood. Summer of 2022 the air vent control actuator went out and the car would not switch off from defrost mode. I had that replaced by a repair shop. December 22, 2022 as I pulled into the driveway I heard a popping sound coming from the front end as i turned into the driveway. My 2007 Chevy duramax diesel 2500 PICK UP TRUCK has now had the Pitman arm break 3 times which left me while driving with complete steering loss. My truck is at Silveira Chevy in Sonoma CA. 95476. They replaced the Pittman arm with the same one that has failed 3 times. I believe that my truck has a bad lift kit installed. And incorrect aftermarket parts installed.
