This is my 8th report. Just after my 7th report, in May 2025, I had my tires rotated at 25,000ish miles. The car still did not record that still shows the last rotation at 8,000 miles. Furthermore, I was told at Discount Tire that I needed new tires because the tread was so thin. I was aghast...a new Tesla with tires that wear out at 25,000 miles? I was told that Tesla does not provide adequa
... te tires for the weight of the car, and that I could buy higher quality tires next time. Now I understand why I kept having flats in the right front tire, despite rotation: all 4 tires were inadequate for my car! I asked if I could wait until my next rotation and he said I could probably make it...but they can't let me leave Discount Tire with tread 4/32nd inch thick. I think I was at 5 or 6 /32nds. The price of appropriate replacement tires is roughly $1,500. Additionally, I just downloaded a software update; here's the first screen of the Release Notes: (uploaded below) Are you kidding me? They still have not fixed the cruise control, and instead of fixing the charge port, they add another step to sidestep the broken one. I'm hoping you will investigate and recall this car. Tesla owners like me who have lost 50% of the value of the low-quality vehicle we were scammed by are pretty frustrated! thanks for listening [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

The car randomly gives a warning on the dashboard in red, with red turtle symbol, to pull over and stop safely. A lot of the time we will be on the highway and can't pull over safely. It happens at any speed. 25, 80, 65, etc. It's been happening since we got the vehicle in 2023 and no dealership understands what the issue is even though there are clearly recall repairs for other same make and mode
... l of other years surrounding this 2022 model. They keep saying its Keysense but its not locked for speed and that doesnt make sense because it doesnt happen at a high speed only, it happens randomly even in town going slow. They've done the "software update" a fee times, but it's clearly the same problem as the others with the wiring harness. That part needs to be replaced because the patch software fix isn't a solution and its definitely not a safe solution at that.Read more

DEFECT: Steering wheel fails to fully return to center after turns, consistently stopping 1/2-1 inch off-center. Minor steering adjustments stick and don't self-correct. Pronounced binding zone near center prevents smooth return. SYMPTOMS: After curves, wheel returns 80% but stops visibly off-center requiring manual correction. Minor lane adjustments stick and require counter-correction. Constant
... manual steering correction causes driver fatigue. Progressive worsening since purchase. SAFETY: Incomplete return at highway speeds causes drift. Sticking divides attention from hazards. Emergency maneuvers require manual straightening during critical response time. SERVICE: February 2026 - McGovern Toyota technician documented "VEHICLE DID NOT RETURN OR SELF CENTER" but Toyota corporate refused repair claiming "normal characteristic." Had 6+ alignments with no improvement. Recent alignment caused binding to flip sides, proving internal mechanical binding not alignment issue. RELATED: Toyota issued CSP 22TE02/TSB T-SB-0028-22 (2022) for 2018 Camry with identical "reduced return to center" caused by intermediate shaft binding. My 2024 Corolla has same defect Toyota acknowledged in 2018 models but refuses to repair. I am filing this complaint regarding repeated premature strut failure on my 2022 Subaru Forester. The original set of struts failed at approximately 36,000 miles. The issue was not covered under warranty and required replacement. At approximately 60,000 miles, the replacement struts are again failing. This means two full sets of struts have failed before 100,000 miles, which is highly abnormal fo
... r a vehicle of this age and mileage. Premature strut failure affects vehicle stability, ride control, and braking performance. This raises safety concerns, particularly at highway speeds and during emergency maneuvers. Suspension components such as struts should not require replacement this frequently under normal driving conditions. Given the repeated nature of this issue, I believe this may represent a broader defect rather than normal wear and tear. I have seen many other 2022 Subaru Foresters have this same issue but have not heard of a recall to date. I am requesting that this matter be investigated for potential recall or technical service action.Read more

Vehicle experiences a persistent and abrupt harsh downshift (jerk/thud) specifically during 2nd-to-1st gear transitions when rolling to a stop. The smooth shifting returned briefly for approximately 500 miles post-update before the abruptness returned. Additionall

Concerned that this transmission behavior is a secondary symptom of internal engine drag or main bearing stress, as documented in similar V35A-FTS engine failures. This abrupt downshifting creates a safety concern regarding predictable vehicle deceleration in stop-and-go traffic. Vehicle is currently at 6,700 miles.Read more

I am submitting a safety concern regarding the 2025 Ford Bronco Off‑Road. Within 24 hours of purchasing my vehicle, a front sensor failed. My concern is that a critical sensor—part of the vehicle’s safety and dri

If this component is so vulnerable that everyday driving conditions can render it inoperable, it may pose a broader safety issue for consumers. This appears to be a design vulnerability that could affect many owners, potentially compromising safety features and creating significant financial burden. I am requesting that NHTSA review whether the placement and durability of this sensor meet reasonable safety expectations. Thank you for your time. ... would not work. I had to get the car towed and get my daughter and all of our stuff out of the car on the freeway at night in the complete dark. Scary stuff. It's an expensive car and 2022 is the first model year of the Grand Wagoneer. I suspect based on my experience with this car that this model year will have these types of problems going forward. The car has had electrical issues from day 1 and its unsurprising this happened. What is surprising is just how dangerous the situation was when you were in it. It was a shocking experience.Read more

My vehicles turn signal audio indicator is extremely quiet and cannot be heard at speeds above 45MPH creating a safety issue. I have checked the vehicle audio settings in addition to the vehicle owner manual and there is no user setting to adjust audio. The vehicle has a feature that puts a message on the dashboard that reads “Consider taking a break “ that is not able to be adjusted by the consumer or the dealer. This message can come up repeatedly and has an audio portion that overrides the audio in the vehicle. Weather conditions, back roads, and unmarked lanes of traffic will trigger this message and without the ability to adjust the se
... nsitivity or the ability to turn it off, it is a very dangerous situation. I have had it go off multiple times in a drive when there is a strong side wind and the vehicle is being pushed around and it can be very, very difficult to safely drive when this is visually and auditory messages keep coming up on the dash without any option to adjust it. On back roads or in situations where there is snow covered roads, this message can be nonstop and go off 50 times or more in a 90 mile drive. It is the worst thing about this vehicle and it’s not reasonable for the vehicle not to have the ability to adjust the feature? I’d ask that an investigation be opened to look into this and demand that Hyundai update the vehicle software to allow the settings for this message to be adjustable. When looking on the internet for this problem, there are 100s of not 1000s of people that have been searching and complaining about this message on the new Kia and Hyundai vehicles. Thank you.Read more

Eventually, the electrical system became unstable, and the car stopped in traffic on 11/07/2025. Repl
