... me? I have barely avoided crashing into semi trucks and driving into road shoulders because of this device. I think the car is dangerous. There is yet another dangerous issue with this car. There is another device that disables the transmission while idling in traffic. The steering and transmission are literally locked in place. I had this happen once in a drive through window, and once on a hill, while traffic was stopped for an accident. When the traffic started to move again, 20 minutes later, I could not get my car to start, and I was in front of a mile long line of traffic, coming back to highway speed, completely stopped. A policeman stopped and knew that there was a little " dimple" on my dashboard that would uncover a locking mechanism. If we only had a slender probe that would fit inside the dimple-pencil too big, so was screwdriver. By this time, I had 2 policemen stopped and traffic whizzing by me. An electrician stopped, knew about the dimple too, and had a slender enough rod to fit into the area, slid the locking mechanism to the side, and started the car again. On both of these issues, I called Subaru customer service and Subaru corporate. NOBODY knew what these issues were, never heard of them! The car is inherently dangerous and I am stuck driving it because I financed it only a year ago and can't afford to buy another car. Subaru should at least acknowledge these dangerous issues, and offer me another model without these issues. The 2019 Crosstrek is the model I have that has these dangerous issues. Hi, I bought my car from Honda of Concord in June 2020 and they’re the only ones that have serviced my car. I had my last oil change on 03/24/23 and had 40 days to get my oil changed again. No light or anything came on until my car broke all the way down. ... ext day. The Honda dealership told me after charging me $100 for a diagnostic fee that it was because of the engine. So I had the car towed to the Hyundai dealership for my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. The Hyundai of Concord location told me they couldn’t see the car for 3-4 weeks. At that point I had it towed to South Charlotte Hyundai who then had to do another diagnosis which costs $109. They told me that the engine failed do to no oil being in the car!! Now I am going back and forth between these two dealerships. Honda says it’s due to oil consumption. There’s a recall going on for oil consumption with the type and year of car I have. Hyundai says it’s not related to the recall but because there was no oil in the car. I maintenance my car like I suppose to every month and they are trying to act like I’m responsible. I am not understanding this at all. Hyundai is trying to charge over $12,000 to fix my car and that’s just not sitting right with me. Either Honda of Concord messed my car up by not putting the oil back in after the oil change or not doing it right or Hyundai needs to fix this issue do to the recall! Also, the Hyundai Corporate woman stated she don’t see where Hyundai left notes on any action taken on the car so she’s not sure where they are getting the numbers from for the engine replacement amount. In the past week or two I have noticed the steering in my 2016 Ford Explorer starting to feel "heavy" and that progressed to being really stiff and kind of hard to turn. Called Ford and they advised to have the vehicle examined. Took the car to my preferred repair facility and there were no codes for an issue; they found my battery was bad and suggested changing it to see if that would help the

I will make contact with Ford again however based on the number of complaints I see from others I am sure that will get me no where. It appears there are hundreds of complaints about this issue I see for the 2016 Explorers, and many others from prior years too. And these are just the people who have taken the time to complain. This clearly can turn into a large safety issue if people aren't able to control their vehicles while operating. I have no issue with making repairs to my cars, things break. I do have an issue with having to go into my own pocket to fix issues that are a known problem. While not safety issues I also have two other seemingly "known" issues with my car. The rear air conditioning line is leaking so my air is out; and the paint on my hood is bubbling and chipping away, apparently an issue with manufacture of the hood.Read more

The pump constantly shuts off and the tank constantly spits gasoline back at me when trying to refuel, it is not safe to have gasoline spilled on you. Added antifreeze and it stopped overheating. About 3 months ago Because it overheated I had to get the head gasket replaced, timing components replaced, heads repaired, and engine flushed(antifreeze had entered engine), not to mention labor
... all costing roughly $3,000. Only for it to happen again and now I’m out of $3,000 because the same thing is happen only this time my car is shaking and smoking from the tail pipe badly. In the mean time my fiancé has lost his job due to us not being able to drive the car. After doing god knows how much research to find out this is an ongoing problem with this particular make of car. Because of having to pay for countless repairs and no one seeming to know what’s going on with my car I am now behind on bills and still without a car that is only 4 years old. I haven’t done any long driving to other states beside neighbors states that are about 2-3 hours away but that shouldn’t matter because it’s a new car I shouldn’t have any problems driving it wherever. I purchased this car at a lil over 30k miles my problems started at about 61k miles which is odd since the manufacturer warranty had just expired about 1k miles before that. I believed in ford for the longest and now I am regretting ever buying one. My very first car purchase from a lot and it turns out to be the worst car I’ve ever purchased. I’m sure me typing all of this probably won’t get read or even looked into but this is an experience I wouldn’t dare want anyone else to go through so I’m sure to leave many reviews but I thought you should know. The horn stopped working. I noticed this in an emergency situation. The horn which is a safety feature should not fail especially for a relatively newer vehicle with less than seventy thousand miles.

Problem # 1At low speeds /parking I loose power that affects steering the radio and windows. I get a message on board stability warning message. Steering become hard and can’t control/turn the vehicle Problem #2 at low speeds /parking my brakes loose power I have to press brake really hard to stop truck.

Vehicle 2 hrs after purchased start/stop failure notice came on. Vehicle died without emergency brakes or any brake system at all take place in middle of the road. Took to the dealer where it was purchased from immediately-4 days later “repaired” replaced a valve stating a flap wasn’t closing correctly. 3 weeks later out of state same thing happened 3 different times traveling 70 mph on the
... way back to our home, only this time we had cars swerving behind us to avoid hitting us as we were in middle lane, immediately I threw on the flashers while driver was attempting to place it in park when the gear shift stuck same error all 3 times start/stop fail only this time the check engine light came on as well as the start stop error light on the dash and permanently stayed on until we could get to the dealership where we purchased it- vehicle stalled again the same way only this time attempting to park vehicle to check in for inspectionRead more
