Initially, 6 months or so after owning the vehicle, the PCV reported tech bulletin occurred for me, and my rear main seal blew, causing $2000+ in repairs. Then, the Engine stalled out on the coldest day of the year, got an engine replacement under warranty from my dealership, that replacement engine had 66k miles (rebuilt) and was only driven around 5,000 miles when the same issue happened. “R

I am now down the $3000 I’ve put into fixing this car and it’s various t leach bulletin reported issues, as well as out of a car now, due to warranty being expired, and still needing to make payments on this unsafe vehicle. The service 4WD light has come on and I have no AWD or 4WD so I took my jeep to Merlins to get diagnosed. They reported back to me that code C14A7-97 PTU Motor came up. They also told me that it is a safety recall and to take it to Jeep to have repaired. I have called 4 Jeep dealers and they have all told me that I do not have any open safety recalls and it will cost between 3 to 6k to repair.

The car has been taken to the local Ford dealership which has determined what needs to be replaced (the front camera and cables connecting the camera). However the parts must come from the Ford manufacturer and there is current no ETA that the dealership is being given for the parts to be delivered. I currently have a 2023 Nissan Titan Pro-4X 4WD that intermittently when slowing to a stop between the speeds of 0-7mph it will, at times, feel as though the transmission is dropping from 3rd gear to 1st gear without cycling into 2nd gear properly creating almost a bumping effect to where it feels like you are almost being bumped from behind. Like being rear-ended at a very slow speed. There is a
... difference in slowing to a stop and it cycles properly which this truck will do the majority of the time and then when it does this hard skipping of the gear and feeling like it is being bumped. I have taken it to the dealership on numerous occasions and reported the concern and let them know that it feels that on the occasions that it shifts hard into that bump it will move forward a bit and that I do not feel comfortable that it may not be an issue with the brakes as well. The dealership has not been able to replicate it to the extent that we are reporting it because it can be so intermittent, and you would need to drive it a bit see when it happens that they keep telling us that they cannot replicate it and it is fine. They had a Nissan engineer come take a look and he could not replicate the exact "bump" feel so he said it is normal and said go ahead and drive it. I have had others in the vehicle, a salesman at the dealership, and others that have driven trucks before, and I have had numerous Titans prior to this one and none have ever done this and other say the same thing that this is an issue and likely with the transmission. I reached out to another mechanic, and he stated that it sounds like it definitely could be an issue that needs to be looked at and could cause a safety risk to myself or others if something happens and does not allow the vehicle to properly slow down or shift into gear properly. Did a DC Fast Charge at Electrify America in Astoria Oregon from 62% to 87%. Used wide open throttle to pass car on mountain climbs about 4 times with in about 30 minutes of charge. When accelerating on to Interstate 5 south received the Service Vehicle Soon warning - Ford App said stop and get car towed. Continued to drive for 22 miles and made it home. ... here are times where these condition light persist for long periods of time from several hours to several days, and then times when these condition light aren't present and will only intermittently come on and then times when these lights blink/ding on and off constantly for several minutes until it comes to rest in an always on state or an intermittent state. After having the issue confirmed by a third-party reputable mechanic shop AND a RAM Dealership Service department I was told the module is on backorder. Being that it is a safety system I don't trust the "aftermarket parts industry" to provide me with authentic manufacturer trusted equipment. Which leaves me encumbered with the stress and risk of having to operate my vehicle with unreliable ABS, Traction Control, Cruise Control. This is beyond a unique to me issue as there are plenty of well documented cases of RAM 2500-3500 series vehicle with this issue as well as a recall on the 2019 & up series of the same. So why would they not issue the recall for the other trucks with this safety issue? Condition persists at any speed regardless of road and weather conditions, no matter the duration of vehicle operation per trip.Read more

This vehicle has a faulty lead frame assembly that is causing it to unexpectedly downshift at any speed. Additionally, the vehicle is unable to shift out of first gear without cycling the electrical system. At the time of writing (8/18/23), I reported this problem nearly five (5) months ago without any resolution from Ford Motor Company.

Excessive tire wear under normal conditions. Tires evaluated by service dept of local auto dealer as defective. Pirelli refused to honor implied warrantee as expressed by tire dealer after a two year delay in responding to request for a pro rated adjustment. Tires were unsafe early in their life cycle.
