TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 TOYOTA SCION. THE CONTACT STATED AS SHE STARTED THE VEHICLE IT ACCELERATED AND WOULD NOT STOP AS SHE DEPRESSED THE BRAKES THE VEHICLE FINALLY STOPPED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A MECHANIC. AFTER A DIAGNOSTIC TEST THEY STATED THAT THEY COULD NOT REPAIR THE FAILURE AND THE VEHICLE SHOULD GO TO THE TOYOTA DEALER FOR REPAIR. THE REPAIR COST WAS $1,000 AND THE CONTACT WANTS A REIMBURSEMENT SINCE HER MODEL SHOULD BE RECALLED BUT IT DOES NOT APPEAR ON THE RECALL LIST.
