When driving home from a hike my car over heated. I was mostly going downhill and my air-conditioning was off. I mad it home and then took my car to a shop. 2 days later. The new jug of coolant I had put in 2 days prior was now dried up. My car now needs a new engine due to issues with the eco boost leaking coolant nto my engine. Ford apparently offers some possible assistance finically if your car has less than 88,000 miles. My car hit 88,888 just before it over heated on that drive. So helpful. This is a know issue for my specific vehicle and not was was i made aware. I do well keeping up on regular maintenence and the recall for the transmission shifter is being addressed at this moment.Read more

When I turned the car back on, the light was off and didn't show any signs that there was an issue. Two days ago during normal use of the car at about 35mph, a loud knocking/ticking sound started. I was about 1/8 mile from my destination so I attempted to make it there. Driveway is uphill and when I accelerated to get up the hill the sound got much louder and ticking was twice as fast. Shut off the car, let it cool, and knocking sound was just as bad the next time I started the car. Had the car towed to prevent damaging the vehicle further. This car is financed and i have three payments left on the 54 month contract. Today i reached out to the dealer about the issue and asked if I should bring my car to their service dept. I explained how i have been experiencing most of the issues that GM has identified as warning signs that indicate a potential engine failure and I was told theres no way my car has a recalled engine and the guy laughed at me when I tried to give him the information I found on the NHTSA website. When traveling at highway speeds the rear suspension is not capable of handling road imperfections. When a pot hole or other disturbance occurs, the rear end of the vehicle violently porpoises and swing back and forth. This is made even more obvious when taking a long sweeping curves at 55 plus. It causes the entire chassis to become very upset. I have never had a car do this.

My car was subject to RP1056 (NHTSA Recall No. 25V-280). The reason for the recall was an error in the Parking Assist Camera in reverse. The camera would either not default to the rearview camera image, or it would display a "Camera is temporarily unavailable" message rather than showing the rearview camera image. An over the air software update (P3.6.3) was issued to attempt to address the error.

This Prius of her still have all OEM equipments with no add- on parts-,no modifying part on any systems what so ever- and NO extra floor mat cause we been warned before about the possible of unintended acceleration causing by aftermarket floor mat to any vehicles. . Based on research this part was on recall on the Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L Eco Diesel for causing this same issue with the crank shaft tone wheel (reluctor wheel) but to this date there has been none on my truck. We are now out $3400 for the repair with Stellantis knowing they have had issues with this part on the other models with the same engine.Read more

Woke up one morning and the entire back seat, entire truck flooring was soaking wet. Got it to Gerber collision in El Reno, Oklahoma. They said that the back window had a crack in it. My insurance said it is a mechanical issue on the sliding back glass and they do not cover such issue. The transmission began having issues shifting/changing gears at the beginning of March. The gears don't engage correctly, the truck doesn't move, then all of a sudden jerks into position. Very dangerous at the start of a light or turn as the car seems to go; then all of a sudden will not shift and is just stuck in the road. It is most noticeable in the lower gears.The jerking motion of the truck when it finally catches, or shifts, is quite harsh and abrupt for the truck and driver. There is clunking noise when this happens. The warning lights did not come on prior to the issue or during the initial onset of the issue. It did come on as the condition worsened. The problem is noted with other Ford owners with the same 10R80 transmission. The dealer has inspected and witnessed the issue. Suggested full replacement of the transmission with an new CDF, so the issue doesn't recur. Just outside of the 5yr powertrain( but was within the mileage) so they will not cover any of the cost. If we replace the transmission, it is only guaranteed for two years. Attached is the diagnostic report and options to repair. They have the new, improved transmission in stock.Read more

After doing a quick Google search, one of the first things that pops up is a class action lawsuit for this exact reason, that was established on May 9th of this year for 2023-2025 models. Driving down the freeway, with no previous issues at 80MPH. Next thing the truck stalls and won't restart. Vehicle jumped and runs when connected stops immediately once unjumped. Replaced battery at 51,000 miles and vehicle runs fine. Concern is the alternator is not strong enough to power the vehicle if the battery dies for mysterious reasons.

... eering and handling. I was transporting my wife in labor at the time of the near-rollover. We now have a newborn, and this vehicle poses a serious risk to my family's safety. The problem has been confirmed by both an independent technician and a Land Rover dealership. The dealership verified that the vehicle is subject to active Safety Recall N759, but no repair or remedy is available. Despite this, I was pressured to retrieve the vehicle, which I have done, but I refuse to drive it due to safety concerns. The vehicle is parked and available for inspection. Additional misconduct occurred at the dealership: I was threatened with storage charges and told the loaner vehicle I was issued would be reported stolen. The dealership charged my credit card $300 without authorization, despite the loaner agreement not permitting this under the circumstances. I was given no written notice or valid justification for these threats and charges. I believe I was targeted with discriminatory and biased treatment throughout this process. At no point was I offered a safe alternative or any definitive guidance. The manufacturer and the dealer have both failed to take responsibility, leaving my family vulnerable. I have documented all communication and behavior related to this case and am reporting this as a matter of safety, ethics, and federal recall mishandling.Read more
