I need to have rear shock replaced. They found that the bracket holder rusted thru . Shock was fine . The Rear frame corrosion and separation, spare tire frame corrosion is really bad. I have had this truck since 2004 . I absolutely love my truck. I am deeply saddened that all the care I took still didn’t prevent all this damage .

My 2015 Chrysler Ram EcoDiesel 4x4 has a major safety defect that nearly caused a catastrophic accident and has left me traumatized. The vehicle is currently inoperable, sitting in my driveway with a dead battery and what sounds like a thrown rod after breaking down for the second time on the highway. While driving on Highway 101 in California, towing a horse trailer with live horses, the truck su
... ddenly lost power without warning. I was left struggling to control the vehicle and avoid a crash in high-speed traffic. This was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. Losing engine power with a loaded trailer on a busy highway could easily have resulted in fatalities — not just for me and my animals, but for other drivers on the road. I was horrified and shaken, and I continue to suffer PTSD from the event. This is the second time the vehicle has broken down under dangerous circumstances. The failure was life-threatening, and it is obvious to me that the engine has now suffered catastrophic internal damage (likely a thrown rod). Recall Issues: I had already received a notice of Recall 22V-406, but when I contacted Chrysler, I was told the parts were not available and they would not buy back my truck. The repair was not released yet, leaving me to continue driving a vehicle I already knew had a serious defect. This delay put me, my animals, and the public at unacceptable risk.Read more

The LED headlight on my 2019 Land Rover Velar is no longer working properly. The built-in Daytime Running Light (DRL) has stopped working completely. This is an important safety feature that helps other drivers see my vehicle during the day. I've already been pulled over three times because of this issue, so it's something that really needs to be fixed. The dealership in Maryland told me the only
... fix is to replace the entire headlight unit, which costs over $6,000. That’s an extremely high cost for a safety-related problem. I’ve seen many similar complaints online from other owners of 2018–2022 Velar and other Range Rover models, all experiencing the same DRL failure. This seems to be a common issue. When the DRL doesn't work, it makes the vehicle less visible and more dangerous to drive during the day. Given the high cost, the safety risk, and how often this seems to happen, I believe this issue needs to be investigated and possibly recalled. I'm very disappointed that such a costly repair is required for a basic safety feature.Read more

On Sunday, 9/14/25 driving on a 70 MPH interstate highway, pulling a trailer behind the Newly-purchased 2025 truck (only 700 miles on it), the road narrowed down to one lane because of a traffic obstruction and cones. As I slowed down to about 35 mph and then went to speed up again as the traffic eased, the vehicle provided a ping notification sound and the Electronic Vehicular Instrument Cluster
... (EVIC) display stated something to the effect of "Shift into 'P' to start vehicle". I realized that the vehicle was not responsive as expected, indicating power steering had failed, likely because the engine was off. I'm uncertain whether the steering wheel was locked, which is likely, because at that speed, only a very slight turn of the wheel was needed to move into the closed lane on the straight road. I continued to coast to get the vehicle and trailer over to the right, hugging the cones which were mid-lane in the closed lane, allowing other cars to go around me while I came to a complete stop on the interstate to shift into Park. Once I could get the gearshift into Park, I started the vehicle again, at which point it drove normally. The trailer had been weighed just that morning and both tongue and overall weight were well within the capacity of the vehicle. It was hooked up to the electrical systems of the tow vehicle via the 7-pin connector. I had the EVIC set to show vehicular information - oil pressure, oil temperature, etc. I similarly had information like battery voltage displayed on a widget on the uconnect screen. Everything looked nominal. No error code was logged to my knowledge. I have since seen similar reports from other 2025 RAM owners in NHTSA complaints and on social media. My dealership is unaware of these issues having been reported elsewhere, so they are starting from scratch in finding a diagnosis on a seemingly intermittent issue. We had to drive with the vehicle's "flashing hazard lights" on due to the low speed on the 55 MPH highway s

Due to the Labor Day Holiday, we were not able to get the vehicle scheduled to go into the shop until the Tuesday following the Monday Labor Day holiday. It was very difficult to get the Pilot to start on the Monday "Labor Day" to drive to the automobile shop for them to look at it the next morning (Tuesday, September 02, 2025). Once it did start, it again displayed multiple alerts on the vehicle information display panel behind the steering wheel. Speed was again limited to a maximum of 25 MPH. While driving to the shop (less than 5 miles away), the engine stopped completely and the car shifted out of the "Drive" mode and switched into Neutral without any action of the driver to do so. We had to coast into a nearby parking lot to get the vehicle out of the active city road. All attempts to restart the vehicle in the lot failed. We had to call for a tow truck with a flat bed to take the AWD Pilot to the local shop. While in the shop the codes were diagnosed by the attached "Full Diagnostic Report" via "TOPDON". The shop owner called us saying that the fuel pump had failed and that there was an active NHTSA recall for this issue with Pilots. We called the local Honda Service Department and they stated that our VIN number was outside of the current recall for the same Fuel Pump issue. We feel that the VIN coverage for the already Active Recall for the Honda Pilots should be expanded to include our VIN for the same reasons as the Active Recall.Read more

The vehicle has suffered repeated systemic electrical failures all while being under 8,000 miles. What component/system failed? Power distribution/fuse block, starter, fuel pump control module, horn circuit, body control module, instrument cluster, and charging system. Error codes documented include P0627 (Fuel Pump Control Circuit), U0100 (Lost Comm ECM/PCM), B1325 (Control Module Power Low), U0
... 140 (Lost Comm BCM), and B1000 (ECM fault). All repairs are documented by the dealer, and the truck remains available for inspection. How was safety at risk? The truck lost propulsion at speed, emitted smoke from the engine bay, and became disabled in traffic, placing my family, including my toddler, in immediate danger of collision and fire. Electrical defects also disabled horn and instrument cluster, removing critical warning and signaling functions. These electrical issues have been ongoing for months and GM refuses to replace and can't seem to fix it. Has it been confirmed? Yes. Each failure was diagnosed and confirmed by an authorized GM dealer. Components replaced include fuse block, starter, fuel system computer, horn assembly, and cluster. Despite repairs, issues recur. Inspected by others? GM corporate case managers are aware and have acknowledged defects, though they have refused to issue written determinations. Insurance has not yet been involved, but records are available. The dealer has attempted to repaid more than 4 times with no success. Warning lamps/messages? Yes. Prior to and during failures, vehicle displayed repeated “Service Electrical System,” “Low Voltage,” and communication fault codes. Cluster intermittently blacked out. Smoke in engine bay indicated immediate fire hazard. Cumulative out-of-service days exceeding 20. The failures pose unacceptable risk of fire, sudden propulsion loss, and loss of critical safety functions. I have ALL calls with GM recorded and transcribed as I am in SC (single party recording state) and can provide those.Read more

I was provided a Tesla Model Y Juniper demo vehicle for a test drive on August 3, 2026 and the incident took place in it around 6:00 pm (±45 min). Full Self-Driving (FSD) was engaged. I had placed an order for a new Model Y on August 2 and took delivery on August 10 (different VIN). During the demo, FSD initially performed well: it autoparked into an apartment parking spot and exited once correc
... tly. However, the second time, the system made a dangerous maneuver. It activated the left indicator and accelerated rapidly as if entering a roadway, but instead turned left directly into a pole. The pole struck the rear door. I braked, but the system’s sudden move left no time to react. A reasonable human would have exited slowly and cautiously, but FSD acted abruptly and unsafely. My pregnant wife was in the passenger seat, and both of us were frightened. This incident raised serious concerns about FSD’s ability to handle low-speed, high-precision situations. The car should have detected the pole and stopped, yet it did not. If a child or pedestrian had been nearby, the consequences could have been severe. This also makes me question whether FSD could make dangerous high-speed maneuvers. At the Tesla showroom, we were told FSD drives “better than a human,” which misled us as new customers. This was the first car I purchased, and I was unfamiliar with FSD’s limits. Only after the incident did I realize how risky it can be. In my new Tesla, although offered a free FSD trial, I have chosen not to use it. Tesla’s claims administrator, Fleet Response, has since sent me a repair bill of $7,611. I was never asked to sign any waiver, never shown liability terms, and was told demo drives are insured. This incident shows serious safety concerns and misleading sales practices regarding FSD at Tesla.Read more

My car has about 82000 miles and while driving it stated that I was shifted to neutral and needed to be restarted. After a few seconds the steering wheel locks up and I can’t press the gas anymore, even though the car is still in drive. This happened about 6 times on the half mile drive home. I haven’t been able to diagnose it yet since the dealership is backed up for a month. I think it’s t

2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, VIN [XXX] , Recall P0DAB-00 (Hybrid/EV Cell Balancing Performance Case #[XXX], Jeep corporate case manager Tiona. On 8/11/25, I brought my vehicle to Freeland Jeep, Antioch, TN for a separate issue and requested inspection for the open EV battery recall. The dealership gave a “green flag,” confirming no recall impact. On [XXX], the check engine light came on and t
... he vehicle drove unsafely. On [XXX], the exact recall issue (P0DAB-00) was diagnosed — the same issue we asked to be inspected. Approval for hybrid battery replacement was granted; part was ordered for 9/3 with repair by 9/5 — repair never occurred. Service advisor Brian Astorga claimed the part “cannot be located.” Calls/emails to service manager David Beasley and case manager Tiona are unanswered. The timing is highly suspicious: the vehicle failed immediately after the “all clear” inspection, suggesting potential negligence or miscommunication. We are now more than 1 month without a vehicle, which is unsafe and unacceptable. AND we even had to argue with Jeep to cover a rental! Requested Action: Require Jeep to complete the recall repair immediately or initiate a full buyback. This all started when I purchased a 2018 Honda CRV from Motorworld in the late months of 2021 used. When this issue started happening, Motorworld ignored me when I was asking questions. Then, when I brought it in for service, they used tactics like "if we don't find anything, we will have to charge you a service fee" or call me the next day and say "before we hook it up, it may be your easy pass".
... They took the car in after I had complained about going down [XXX] , and with nothing in front of my car, it slammed on the brakes going from 40-0mph. When they got done, I went to pick up the car, and they told me it was the aftermarket windshield, but it was the one I bought with the car. I called Honda, they made Motor World take it in, and then called me and told me that they have the information and would share it with the appropriate parties. It has continued to happen, and I could get killed if it happens to me. I called to give Honda a more detailed recent incident, and the lady was like They closed this case. I have been waiting for a solution, and Honda just closed the case. I have been worried about the family's safety for 4 years. When it happened the brake warning comes on and the car just stopped. Please dont let them hide this issue. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

When turning to the right, around 35-45mph on a sharp turn, the steering will stick. Yesterday the sticking was so bad it almost caused me to lose control in the middle of the curb. It does not stick when taking sharp turns to the left. The mechanic has not been able to locate the issue.

My 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe began with an intense burning smell followed by the “Service Hybrid Electric Vehicle” warning light illuminating. After this, the vehicle experienced numerous electrical issues with the infotainment system, and the air conditioning failed. At one point, both the service and battery lights came on and the car lost all power, would not shift from park, and could n
... ot move. The service light continued to illuminate a total of eight times. During the seventh and eighth occurrences, the vehicle became unsafe: once while stopped, the electric and motor systems appeared to fight for power, and the next time while traveling around 55 mph, the car suddenly lost power and rapidly decelerated, creating a serious risk of a rear-end collision. This problem has been reproduced by the dealership, who attempted to replace the Module Control Module without success. Dealership and myself contacted the manufacturer and were told there is currently no fix and to “hang tight” until one is available. Due to the severity and ongoing nature of the issue, I have also filed a claim with NCDS USA for further support.Read more
