... nual overrides in the event of crash/fire/electrical malfunction (even if related to dead battery) and found a You tube video (NOT information provided by Tesla mind you) that showed that on the front seats, there should be a lever not far from the door handle that you can pull to activate a manual release of the door. In the video, they said 'models' are different as to the rear seats but there 'should be' a lever. I could not find any manual override for the back seat passengers. So, I drove to the Tesla Dealer/Service department to have them show me how to activate the manual override for back seat passengers. The technician admitted that in many Teslas, including mine, THERE WAS NO SUCH CAPABILITY!! He admitted Tesla was acutely aware, they do not prioritize safety and that the back seat passengers would be stuck. He agreed that it will take a major class actions and major fines, and/or jury verdicts for them to do anything about it. Appalling and not acceptable. I would request that NHTSA mandate that all Teslas (probably models before 2025) lacking the device necessary to allow passengers to escape death due to failed electrical system be recalled to modify the car at Tesla's expense to comply with the reasonable expectations of consumers. This is a major design defect, unreasonably dangerous and presents a very real threat to the consumers who have no knowledge of the defect, much less where to look for the override (if it exists) because that information is not provided when you purchase the car. We have owned the vehicle for over 2 years and not had any of the completed. They printed off a form with all of the recalls and it showed the dealership we bought the vehicle fr

I contacted Kia corporate and they were told by the dealership in Missouri that they had completed them on a different vehicle but marked them as complete on ours. After months of not hearing back with a way forward from the dealership or corporate. I do not know where else to go to get this corrected. It is in very poor taste to have to fight to get an error on the dealerships side fixed. The recalls are for safety issues with the vehicle.Read more

I purchased a new 2024 Audi Q4 e-tron. The first malfunction occurred in January 2025 when a dashboard warning appeared stating the vehicle was “unable to read traffic or road signs.” The dealer confirmed a front-camera sensor failure and replaced the camera under Repair Order #193312 (1/17/25 – 1/29/25) at approximately 397 miles. In February 2025, the vehicle displayed repeated “drive s
... ystem malfunction” warnings and would not start reliably. The dealer determined the issue was linked to the 12-volt battery and replaced it under RO #194457 (2/24/25 – 3/14/25, 866 miles). Soon after, persistent drive-system and electrical faults continued (RO #195096 and #195241 from 3/17 – 3/27 at 866–1,081 miles) but no repair was completed. On 4/10/25, an “AWD malfunction” occurred, and the vehicle was towed. Under RO #195846 (4/10/25 – 4/25/25, 1,594 miles), the front electric motor/drive unit was replaced. The vehicle remained out of service for extended periods. I was provided an EV loaner during the initial repair in January and gasoline loaner vehicles thereafter. In June 2025 (RO #198283 at 3,161 miles), a factory recall for the onboard charger was performed. The warning “Pedestrians cannot hear motor sound” appeared both before and after the motor replacement, suggesting a persistent fault in the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS). These repeated electrical, sensor, and propulsion failures — all within 3,000 miles of use — raise concerns about the reliability and safety of the ADAS camera, drive unit, and pedestrian-alert system. Power loss and a nonfunctional pedestrian-warning feature could increase risk to the driver and others. Losing control of the brakes constitutes a catastrophic safety failure that makes this vehicle unfit for road use. The engine is consuming oil at a rapid rate that could be potentially dangerous. This is happening to other people with the same make and model as well.

I got 5 lights on my dash stating that I have an auto high beam problem, road departure mitigation system problem, collision mitigation system problem, lane keeping assist problem, and adaptive cruise control problem. NHTSA Recall Number24V-700 It has been over 1yr since the recall was issued for fire risk on the Nissan leaf and still no fix is available. Nissan continues to ask users to not charge with level 3 charging which in my leaf was an expensive option. Limits my ability to use my car for longer trips. How much time do they legally have to remedy the issue?

The 2024 Ram 1500 3.6L V6 E-Torque engine stalls at low speeds. Without warning the engine shuts off and the emergency brake automatically engages, when the truck comes to a stop it shifts into park, and I have to restart the truck. Fortunately this has only happened in parking lots at speeds of around 5mph. This has happened twice so far. The battery voltage dropped from 13.8 volts to 12.2 volts
