Apparently there is a TSB from GM regarding the end for updated/replacement of parts concerning the hydraulic piping, slave cylinder and accumulator. My clutch became spongy then stuck on the floor. This happened unexpectedly (reservoir full) while driving and almost caused an accident. Apparently GM doesn't take enough accountability to update the failure before or after failure. Reporting this

I’ve had my Volkswagen Tiguen since 2021 fresh off the lot. I have been the only owner of the car at about 30,000 miles my head gasket blew, causing the engine to go into default after weeks in the dealer. They replaced the head gasket and stitched it up, the head gasket blew again at this point I was still under warranty so they agreed to replace the engine. It drove fine after the engine was r
... eplaced this year 2025. I started to have a whole host of problems. It began to jerk and hesitate at acceleration. My engine light came on with continuous jerking upon acceleration for weeks until I started to lose power in my engine. I couldn’t go over 50 60 mph. I would always pull the car over power it off and power it back on just to see if it would change and it didn’t do much I had a local mechanic add oil to each tire also drain the engine, which had shards of metal in it. And basically stitch the car back together until we can figure out the bigger issues. It’s only been a day since the oil was added to each tire. I had a very violent jerk of the engine, which made it feel and sound like I blew a tire I got out to look at the tire and it was just fine. It was the backfire of the engine going into the exhaust that caused such the violent jerk. Happy that no one was on the road. If somebody was behind me it would’ve easily been an accident. Most of these dealerships know exactly what’s going on and have been avoiding the big conversation of what to do next they rather just replace and Band-Aid these things into the consumer just gives up. I have two small children and this is the only means of transportation. I’m fearful that I’ll be stuck with a car note for a car. I can’t drive.Read more

My car has been making noises and no checks engine light for about 4 weeks now. It has started on October 19, 2025 and tomorrow will make 1 month. The noise starts when I press the brakes and when I drive. When merging on highways the car would delay start when I press the gas and then it’ll jump or stutter twice before moving which is dangerous because I’m merging on to highways. I’ve been
... to several shops and they’ve all told me it’s the transmission and I will need a complete new one. I continued driving my car because I have no way getting to and from work and today November 15, 2025, it broke down while on the highway with my daughter and husband in the car. I had to wait for my car to decide to start moving while others behind me swerved into the other lane because of the sudden stop all while hoping no one would crash into us. It turned on and we were able to move off to the side slowly and again it shut off. The check engine light finally came on and when the tow truck came the guy inspected the vehicle and said what everyone else said there is a transmission problem and it popped up and said something about the transmission and the brake system. As far as the brakes the mechanics said the brake hardware is rubbing against the rotor on the front left side and I can’t brake hard while driving or it’ll make a loud noise or a hard sudden stop. I have to press lightly and way ahead of time so that I don’t run into any issues. When searching online I saw that 2023 Honda Crvs do have transmission problems and it’s happened to several others. The sudden stops, noises, and complete replacement of their transmission. Plenty of others had it covered by warranty but what about the others that don’t have warranty. I have not replaced my transmission as of yet because the mechanics I usually go to is closed on weekends so I will be waiting until Monday. This is dangerous and crazy and Honda needs to do a major recall before someone actually gets hurt.Read more

I have a 2014 Impala limited I started having problems within 6 months after I bought the vehicle from Bergstrom Chevrolet in Wisconsin it was involving the ABS anti-lock stability track and traction control and the braking and steering we're all feeling and locking up while I was driving it presented and problems and endangering my life and the life of any passengers in the vehicle the brakes wil

Also the valve that controls the pressure in the fuel tank malfunctioned which caused the car to run irrraticaly it would start hard, stop running at all stops rough ideling and unable to pump gas into the car without the gas pump stopping continuously making the time that it would take to fill the gas tank 3 to 4 times longer than it did that was fixed and it is malfunctioning again. I'm on my fourth time of having my car anti-lock brake system failing on my car multiple systems including the electrical system failing. The dash lights would go off on. The exterior lights going off and on. The car has been off of the streets and unable to be driven many times. I have taken my car in to the Dealership from where I purchased it from. By the third time my car warranty had expired. Then everything was still not repaired all the systems were not ever working correctly. And now the repairs were needed to be paid in full by myself. The cost to me had just begun when it should have been resolved. In excess of $6,000 was what it would cost me the third time I had the Impala in for everything and now it's gone out again and I'm having to get this repaired.Read more

The cruise control on our truck does not work when the Hydraulic Control Unit is not working. It has started having issues this past summer which causes the message to be displayed on our dash with a warning sound. This may cause the ABS and ESC not to work properly, which is very concerning. We had planned to pull our 30 ft travel trailer across the US this winter to the south, but with these i
... ssues, we are hesitant to drive the truck a long distance. We are also hoping that the truck will stop correctly this winter since we live in Wisconsin and have snow and ice that we have drive in on a regular basis. This is concerning and we are debating as to whether or not the truck will be safe to drive. We called the manufacturer today about the part to repair the problem and there is not one yet. They said we could have a dealership do a “temporary fix” that we would have to pay for and have reimbursed. It was hard to understand the 2 people we talked to (from the Philippines - had heavy accents), so we don’t know if that “fix” really would work. They also said we could get a truck rental through the dealership, but we have no idea if they would pay for it or not, or how long it will be until there is an actual part produced by the company that will fix the problem. We are hesitant to do that if the cost would be on our shoulders, since it could be substantial. So, we may be without our vehicle this winter. It also looks like we will not be able to take our camper south for the winter this year like we always have done since we retired a few years ago due to this safety issue. This is not acceptable and we would like some answers.Read more

Recall 2024100002 for my 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 53 is listed as “Completed” in the manufacturer’s system, but the dealer’s service record from November 2024 clearly states that the recall part was on backorder and the repair was not performed. There is no later record of the recall ever being completed. After the recall was marked “Completed,” multiple paid repairs were performed in the
... same system, including extensive electrical and engine-related work, totaling several thousand dollars. Warning messages and check-engine lights continued to appear, and the underlying issue was never properly resolved. The dealer repeatedly cleared fault codes and performed symptom-based repairs without identifying or correcting the cause. In 2025, the dealer also presented a very high repair estimate related to the same components affected by the recall. This raises concerns that safety-related repairs may have been converted into paid work while the recall remained incomplete. The vehicle was also marked “Disabled” by the dealer, even though it remained drivable. Release of the vehicle was delayed without a clear explanation. The dealer has not provided any confirmation that the recall was actually performed. The manufacturer acknowledged receiving my concern and forwarded it to the dealer, but no one has responded for several weeks. The unresolved status of this recall and the repeated issues affecting the electrical, engine, and propulsion systems raise concerns of a safety defect and possible recall non-compliance. I am requesting that NHTSA review the recall completion status and investigate whether the required safety remedy was performed correctly or reported inaccurately.Read more

This is an update to NHTSA Complaint #XXX with new safety information. My 2017 Tesla Model S (VIN [XXX] ) has a confirmed high-voltage isolation fault. Tesla replaced the rear drive unit under warranty, but Tesla’s own technician notes now state: “There is a risk of isolation alerts reoccurring during regular driving, use of HVAC system, or DC charging.” “Vehicle may power off due to iso
... lation faults when the air conditioning is used.” This is Tesla acknowledging in writing that the vehicle may shut off during normal driving, even after repair. This presents a serious crash risk. The original failure occurred during Supercharging, with warnings including: • “Electrical system power reduced — vehicle may shut down unexpectedly” • “Vehicle may not restart” • “Air conditioning reduced — DC charging reduced” Tesla reproduced the isolation fault during diagnosis. Even after replacing the rear drive unit, Tesla documented that the isolation defect still exists and prevents a battery health check or DC fast-charge validation. Tesla has attempted to return the vehicle to me in this unsafe condition, while admitting the defect persists. They also stated they may charge storage fees or tow the vehicle, despite the unresolved safety issue. The defect affects the HV bus and can cause loss of propulsion, shutdown during driving, and charging failure. Tesla has not provided numeric test results (megohm isolation readings, insulation tests, or validation data) proving the vehicle is safe. This is an ongoing, manufacturer-confirmed HV isolation defect that can lead to sudden power loss. I request NHTSA review Tesla’s handling of this issue and link this filing to Case #XXX. My 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe has now been through three separate recalls for the same high-voltage battery fire risk, each time with the same “software flash” remedy instead of a permanent repair. Recall 24V-111 (04B, Feb 2024): Software update to the Battery Management System (BMS) to detect battery faults. Recall 24V-720 (95B, Sept 2024): Reissued for the same defect, again using only a softwar

Each campaign cites potential separator damage inside the battery cells, which can lead to thermal events and fires. Despite multiple “fixes,” Stellantis has never provided an actual hardware remedy or replacement plan. Owners continue to be told to park away from structures and avoid charging their vehicles. More than a year after the first battery recall, the manufacturer still cannot supply a permanent remedy, exceeding the “reasonable time” requirement under federal safety law. I am filing this complaint because repeated software-only updates have not corrected the defect and the vehicle remains at risk of fire. Date: November 12, 2025 Vehicle: 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn 3.0 Dealer: Frank Boucher Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Janesville – 4001 Milton Ave, Janesville, WI 53546 I have been experiencing ongoing electrical and instrument cluster failures with my 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn 3.0 since purchase. The most serious issue is a recurring message: “Warning Light Illumination Cannot Be Shown – Service Requi
... red.” This means the cluster cannot guarantee display of safety alerts such as the check engine, airbag, brake, or oil pressure lights. This is a major safety hazard because I may not be warned of a system failure while driving. The truck also shows false “Trailer Light Out” warnings when no trailer is connected, indicating a fault in the Body Control Module (BCM) or CAN bus communication. This may cause incorrect trailer or brake-light behavior, putting other drivers at risk if brake or turn-signal lighting fails to operate properly. It also displays a false “Too Much Oil” warning despite normal levels, and the 3.0 engine has no dipstick, preventing manual verification. The truck has also failed to start multiple times with both the remote fob and manual ignition. On November 12, 2025, it would not start at all; after several attempts, it started with the check engine light briefly on, then it turned off on its own. I have brought the vehicle to the dealer twice. Technicians confirmed Dodge/Stellantis is aware of the defect but said no repair or software update currently exists. The issue has been reproduced and documented. Based on symptoms and dealer feedback, this is likely a BCM or instrument cluster communication fault within the vehicle’s CAN network, affecting ignition, lighting, and safety indicator functions. It directly violates FMVSS 101 (controls and displays) and poses a serious road-safety risk. I request a full NHTSA investigation and recall for this defect, as it affects multiple Ram 1500 models and leaves drivers unaware of critical system failures.Read more
