SUMMARY OF SAFETY DEFECT: Multiple critical safety systems randomly disengage without warning while the vehicle is in operation, creating an immediate crash hazard. DETAILED DESCRIPTION: For approximately one month, my vehicle has experienced intermittent, unpredictable failures of multiple safety-critical systems while driving. These failures occur randomly during operation and include: Regenera
... tive Braking System Failure (PRIMARY SAFETY CONCERN) Lane Departure Warning System Failure Automatic Vehicle Hold System Failure Traction Control System Failure Automatic Emergency Braking System Failure Electronic Stability Control System Failure SAFETY HAZARD ANALYSIS: The sudden disengagement of regenerative braking while driving poses an acute collision risk. Tesla vehicles are designed with regenerative braking as the primary deceleration method when releasing the accelerator. Drivers develop muscle memory and expectations based on consistent vehicle behavior. When regenerative braking unexpectedly disengages mid-drive, the vehicle's deceleration characteristics change dramatically and without warning, creating a dangerous situation where: The driver expects normal deceleration upon releasing the accelerator The vehicle instead continues at speed, requiring sudden brake application Reaction time is insufficient to compensate for the unexpected behavior change Rear-end collisions or other crashes become likely, particularly in traffic Similarly, the Automatic Vehicle Hold feature unexpectedly disengaging means the vehicle may roll when the driver expects it to remain stationary at traffic lights or stop signs. PATTERN AND FREQUENCY: These system failures occur randomly and unpredictably while driving. The issues sometimes resolve after: Restarting the vehicle Restarting the cent However, the failures recur without warning during subsequent driving. MANUFACTURER RESPONSE: Service Visit Date: November 28, 2024 Diagnosis: Tesla Service Center acknowledged this as aRead more

On November 16th while on vacation and traveling through west Texas, our 2025 Ram 1500 SST Lonestar cancelled our adaptive cruise and automatic emergency brake. A message popped up again stating "Auto Emergency Braking (AEB)/ACC Unavailable Service Required". We were pulling our travel trailer and we found that if we shut off vehicle, it would reset and appear to work for a short time but would t
... hem cancel our adaptive cruise and automatic emergency brake. On November 17th we took it to Sisbarro CDJR in Deming, NM and they claimed they couldn't verify our problem with a 30 minute text drive. So their tech did an update to the PCM and gave us the truck back. We hitched up the next day and with 15 minutes the problem happened again. We stopped using the adaptive cruise control and started using the regular cruise. The message continued and we continued to Surprise, AZ without the ACC and AEB. On Monday, November 24th, we took the vehicle to Larry Miller CDJR in Surprise, AZ. After I described the ongoing problem to the service writer, he told that it would be 3 or 4 days before they could look at it and it could take at least an additional 2 days to repair if they could recreate the problem. I asked him if he thought it was safe to drive back to Mansfield, TX and he said it should be okay. Over the next three days we returned home and continued to have the problem with the ACC and AEB warning. I've have called Classic CDJR in Arlington, TX and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday, December 2nd at 7 am.Read more

The dealership stated that they do not know why the code was present as the car showed signs of issues, they cleared the code and released the car back to me on 11/6/25. On 11/24/25 while driving on a major highway the car stalled about 8-10 times. I contacted the dealership and went right into the dealer on 11/24/25. The dealership kept my car and issued a loaner vehicle to me. On 11/25/25 I received a call from the dealership stating that the high pressure fuel pump would need to be replaced. The fuel pump was replaced on 11/26/25 and the service manager called me stating that they would keep the car to test drive and monitor it for further issues. On 11/28/25 I received a call from the service advisor stating that upon further checking the car they have located a transmission leak and found large chunks of metal in the transmission. The service advisor stated they would reach out to Honda and get the recommendations on fixing the problem. On 12/1/25 the service advisor reached out to me and stated that Honda recommended they clean the leak and release the car back to me. The service advisor stated that they were not happy with this outcome and then reached out to their district representative, the district representative recommended that they clean the leak, test drive the car for about 20-30 miles and send photos of the chunks of metal in the transmission. On November 30, 2025, while driving my 2025 Chevy Equinox EV LS, the vehicle displayed a “Service High Voltage System” warning message on the center screen indicating an issue with the vehicle’s high‑voltage electrical system and that some driving and/or charging functionality may not be available. The high‑voltage battery and related components are still in the vehicle and available for
... inspection upon request. This fault could cause sudden loss or limitation of driving or charging capability, which may increase the risk of being stranded in traffic or in unsafe locations. Beginning in the first week of November 2025, the myChevrolet app has continuously shown a “Lithium‑Ion Battery – Schedule Service Now” alert under Diagnostics, even though no corresponding warning appeared in the vehicle until November 30. I presented the in‑app lithium‑ion battery warning to the Chevrolet dealer earlier in November; they declined to act on it, stated they do not rely on the app, and asked me to reschedule and return later, so the issue has not yet been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent shop. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance, or others specifically for this high‑voltage/battery issue. The only prior symptoms were the persistent lithium‑ion battery service notification in the myChevrolet app since early November and, as of November 30, the in‑vehicle “Service High Voltage System” warning message.Read more

My oil light came on after driving it about 4700 miles from purchase date. I checked the oil and there was no oil on the dipstick. 200 miles and 2 days later the check engine light came on and put it into limp mode. It was about a half quart low. I was put at risk for having to go slow on a main highway to get back home. I took it to a local Hyundai dealership they did a diagnostic and bearing c
... learance test for $572.00. They said it passed. Then I did a 1000 mile oil consumption test. They over filled my oil and it passed. The 2nd 1000 mile oil consumption test they did not over fill my oil and it failed. They told me they would submit a PA to Hyundai corporate and as long as the maintenance was done they would most likely replace the engine. He also told me my engine could blow anytime. They never called me back so when I called the dealership they said they denied it needed a new engine. They wanted me to pay another $800 to run a combustion test. I am not paying for anymore testing when they clearly have engine problems with many of their engines. I had warning signs and that’s when I called the dealership I purchased it from and went on this path. I was also told that this was covered under an extension warranty of 120, 000 miles. Only to be told by Hyundai corporate that it is not covered. This is an issue Hyundai is well aware of and they refuse to fix it.Read more
