The vehicle whose VIN and other identifying details are stated above was sold on May 27 by [XXX] , owner of Koza Transportation LLC, to my company, Skyturk Transportation LLC, which I established in the United States. At the time of sale, the vehicle’s mileage was represented as 395,204 miles and supported by video and photographic evidence. However, subsequent investigations revealed that the s
... ame vehicle had been listed and sold on April 29 through BidCars with a recorded mileage of 843,194 miles. This clearly shows the odometer was rolled back by the seller or individuals acting with his knowledge. The vehicle, with reduced mileage, was sold to me at a grossly inflated price. It was also later discovered to be a severely damaged/salvage vehicle, a material fact not disclosed at the time of sale. After I brought this to the seller, he initially stated he would repurchase the vehicle but later claimed he could not contact the person he bought it from and gave inconsistent statements. Information obtained thereafter confirmed these actions constitute a federal offense. Official reports have been filed with the District Attorney’s Office and the DMV through my attorney, and legal and criminal proceedings are ongoing. Due to the investigation, mileage irregularities, and the vehicle’s damaged status, it cannot be sold at this time. My authorized stay in the United States is nearing expiration. As a result of the seller’s actions, my company has been unable to operate and suffered serious financial losses, and I have personally incurred significant damages. I respectfully request necessary actions to protect my legal rights and address the damages suffered.I learned on September 18 that the odometer had been tampered with and that the vehicle I also respectfully request that necessary measures be taken to prevent the seller or any individuals acting similarly from engaging in such vehicle sales to others in the future, and that stricter penalties be applied. I have a 2015 Ram 1500, my experience is not unique and this issue is well known online. The ABS module (Part No: 68228991AD) is no longer working and my truck has been having an issue with this for about 3 years. The Parts departments in dealerships will typically say that the manufacturer is "looking" for a new contract parts supplier and say that a certain date is upcoming, but it always gets p

Since I have moved around, I have been unable to stick with a certain parts department for an extended period of time, but I have had this part on order with the current dealership near me for over 5 months, with no status update other than its on order. This seems like a large safety issue to me and I would like the regulator to do something about this.Read more

My 2021 Infiniti QX50 is subject to Recall 25V437000 for engine bearing defects that can cause engine failure, loss of power, and fire. During the recall inspection, Cerritos Infiniti found metal debris. They first diagnosed this debris as being in the engine oil and recommended immediate engine replacement. Days later, they reversed this diagnosis, claiming the debris was only on the removed oil
... pan from "technician scraping" and that the engine is safe. Infiniti Corporate reviewed the dealer's evidence, denied the warranty claim for an engine replacement, and refuses to provide me with any technical documentation—photographs, video, or analysis—that would verify which diagnosis is correct. They have refused my request for an independent inspection by a Field Technical Representative at a different dealership. The dealer has now threatened $60/day storage fees to coerce me into accepting the vehicle back without any verifiable proof of engine safety. I am being forced to choose between paying punitive fees or driving an unverified vehicle with known, documented risks of catastrophic failure and fire. I am filing this complaint not to seek an engine replacement, but to request that NHTSA investigate whether Cerritos Infiniti and Infiniti Corporate have violated federal safety recall requirements by: 1. Failing to provide owners with complete and accurate information about the results of recall inspections; 2. Destroying evidence (the original contaminated oil/filter) before an independent review could occur; 3. Coercing owners into accepting potentially unsafe vehicles through punitive storage fees; 4. Failing to perform the required recall remedy—which, if "specific debris" is found, requires engine replacement—and instead substituting an unverified, undocumented "second oil change" as an informal remedy.Read more

My car broke down as I was driving with no prior indication or warning. It failed to run when I tried to start it back up, so I had to push it off the road and call for a tow.
