Rear lift gate randomly opens and closes automatically while driving and when parked. My kids were in the back seat and there were groceries in the trunk that could have fallen out. Dealership said it's not a recall, and that it is due to a bad weather stripping around the rear window allowing water into the lift gate and damage the controls.

On 2/19/26 the Vehicle would not go in reverse. This is the second time the vehicle has failed to reverse. The vehicle was towed and fixed by don chalmers ford the first time this happened. Now they stated the vehicle was one day past warranty and would not tow/fix issue. I dropped the vehicle at dc ford on Friday 2/20. Today they called and said they think it is the same issue that was fixed with
... the transmission and would charge 6-8 thousand to fix it. More if we wanted a new transmission. I have read several reports from other consumers that the ford 2021 bronco sport has transmission issues. This vehicle has also had several recalls that I have had fixed by ford. All maintenance has been performed by ford as well. This is an unsafe vehicle and ford has failed to insure its costumers are safe and treated fairly.Read more

While driving into town, the dashboard illuminated with every warning light before the vehicle suffered a total electronic and engine shutdown. This happened twice—the second time while I was mid-turn in an intersection. Several vehicles had to slam on their brakes to avoid a high-speed collision with my stalled truck. I had to get the vehicle towed as it is fundamentally unsafe to operate.

Safety risk: driver information/warnings become unreliable while the vehicle is in motion, which is distracting and may reduce awareness of speed/vehicle status. No crash, injury, or fire occurred. A dealer inspected the vehicle and reviewed the customer video. The dealer documented stored electrical/communication/configuration faults consistent with the concern, including ECU configuration mismatch, lost communication with the trailer interface module, and communication bus off faults. The dealer performed software updates to related modules and road tested ~34 miles; the concern did not reproduce during the test drive. The vehicle also has an open safety recall (NHTSA 26V-059 / FCA 03D) for the trailer tow module with remedy/parts pending. Incidents occurred on 02/16/2026 and 02/18/2026 at ~3,000 miles, including after cold/rain conditions. One restart sequence did not immediately stop the flashing. Dealer scan recorded the following (stored) DTCs: TIPM B2204-87 (ECU configuration mismatch), TIPM U116B-00 (lost communication with trailer interface module), and ITCM U0077-00 (communication bus off). Dealer performed module software updates including CADM update per TSB 08-020-26 and PCM update per RRT-26-036. Recall remedy for 26V-059 / FCA 03D remains pending parts.Read more

Manufacturer is claiming to have "No Remedy" for this recall (C4B). However, they were able to replace the defective part, charged me for the repair and offered a reimbursement. However, they are not offering to reimburse the full cost of the repair. It has come to my knowledge that Ram does have a remedy, as they have reengineered the HCU part affected by this recall and issued a new part number
... for the updated parts. Original part was 68143491AA and has since been updated to 68143491AB after this recall was issued. It appears that Ram is lying to consumers about having "No Remedy" when they do in fact have one. I am assuming they do not want fix these vehicles unless the original part fails as a cost savings on this recall. The issue is they are refusing to cover the entire cost of the recall repair when the vehicle did need to be fixed. I was charged $1185.56 for this repair in February of 2026 and Ram is only offering $1141.85 as the reimbursement amount. This recall should have been covered at zero charge and without requiring me to pay upfront for the repair, as it is evident by updated part numbers that Ram does in fact have a remedy.Read more

I am writing to formally report a serious and ongoing safety concern regarding my Nissan Pathfinder. During the initial test drive, conducted on a particularly windy day, I noticed sharp and sudden pulling to both the left and right while traveling at freeway speeds. At the time, I attributed much of this instability to the wind conditions and proceeded with the purchase. However, since taking ow
... nership of the vehicle, the problem has persisted under normal driving conditions. While traveling on the freeway, the vehicle will unpredictably and forcefully pull to either side without warning. This repeated and erratic movement creates a legitimate fear that the vehicle could sideswipe another car, resulting in a serious accident. This is not a minor steering issue — it is a dangerous driving condition that compromises the safety of myself, my passengers, and other motorists. I reported this unsafe driving behavior to the service department at Kendall Nissan. The service manager acknowledged that similar complaints have been reported on several other vehicles they have serviced and attributed the issue to the tires. My vehicle is equipped with Bridgestone Alenza Sport AS 255/50R20 105H tires. In an effort to confirm or eliminate the tires as the cause, I requested that they be replaced. That request was denied, and I was directed to contact Nissan Customer Care. I contacted Nissan Customer Care on two separate occasions seeking resolution. My initial complaint was dismissed. After clearly stating that we felt highly unsafe operating the vehicle, I was informed that a buyback request would be submitted. Later, I was contacted and told the buyback request had been denied. Instead, I was offered reimbursement equivalent to one monthly payment — an offer that does not address or correct the underlying safety defect. Given that the dealership has acknowledged similar incidents with multiple vehicles, this appears to be a broader and potentially significant safety issue tRead more

Idle Instability-An erratic or surging idle, where the tachometer needle fluctuates noticeably without any throttle input. Before my vehicle reached the 100,000-mile mark, the check engine light began appearing intermittently. I brought the car to my local dealership multiple times, but they were unable to provide a diagnosis and repeatedly reset the light. Once the light remained on permanently, the dealer finally identified a known Honda recall/extended warranty issue and replaced the spark plugs at no cost. Howev
... er, approximately six months after that repair, the check engine light returned. The dealership has now diagnosed a failure in both the front and rear catalytic converters at a cost of $5200 to replace them. I need to replace to pass my state of Illinois car emissions tests. I have been working with Honda Goodwill Assistance (Case #161-655-70), but their offer to cover only 20% of the replacement cost is unacceptable. This failure is not a standard "wear and tear" issue; it is a direct consequence of the spark plug issues I repeatedly attempted to address before my warranty expired. I was told the 20% determination was based on my vehicle exceeding 100,000 miles, but this fails to account for the fact that I brought the car in for this specific issue multiple times while it was still under warranty. I am looking for Honda corporate to acknoweldge the new spark plugs they directed my dealer to install caused this issue and cover the cost of the repairs. My local Honda dealer service manager, Brian, is willing to speak on this issue on my behalf. He can be reached at [XXX] . I purchased this vehicle on September 8, 2025, from Antwerpen Hyundai of Clarksville. Since purchase, the vehicle has had persistent problems that substantially impair its use and market value. Issue 1: HVAC / Ventilation Defect: Outside air enters through the center dash vents even when the fan is turned off. The recirculation feature disengages automatically after a few minutes, allowing outside
... air into the cabin. This issue has been ongoing and unresolved despite service visits. Issue 2: Intermittent Screeching/Scratching Noise from Dash/Steering Column Area On October 4, 2025, we began hearing an intermittent screeching or scratching sound from the front dashboard/steering column area. The vehicle has been serviced 3 times at 2 dealerships: November 10–14, 2025 – Antwerpen Hyundai Clarksville: Technician documented that the sound was replicated on two separate occasions and attempted two repair solutions. We were told the issue was resolved. The sound returned the same day during the drive home. December 9-16, 2025 – Hyundai of Dundalk: Service record indicated “fittings greased.” No detailed explanation provided. Personnel who handled the vehicle were no longer employed at pickup. The noise continued. January 20 – February 5, 2026 –Antwerpen Hyundai Clarksville: Service manager drove vehicle approximately 55 miles each way (100+ miles total) attempting to replicate the sound but reported being unable to do so. When picking up the vehicle, the noise was present again. Audio recordings of the sound were provided to the dealership multiple times. The service manager later indicated he might use electronic diagnostic equipment but did not follow up further. Current Condition: The screeching/scratching noise continues intermittently. While not constant, it is recurring and has persisted since October 2025. The issue has been replicated and documented by dealership technicians previously but remains unresolved after three repair attempts. The HVAC issue contiues.Read more

When driving my car, you can hear wind noise like the windows are down and it's loud enough to where I can't hear my kids most of the time when they need something from the backseats. These two recalls have been in place since May 2025 and there is still no remedy to fix this almost a year later. I have not taken it to a dealership but plan to this Friday 02/27/26.

I was slowing down to park the car when it lurched forward in high speed and smashed into the wall. The front collision warning never went off, and the emergency braking never came on. My foot was on the accelerator and lifting off to park at low speed like I do all the time, so it wasn't like I was trying to slam on the brakes and pressed on the accelerator by mistake. The car was serviced a
