When I am parking the truck, I press and hold the brake pedal, While the truck shifter in in "Drive", I press the start/stop button to shut truck down, the shifter gets stuck in "drive" and doesn't automatically shift in to park. The truck locks down and will NOT operate as the shifter locks in "drive" and won't shift. This happened to me while travelling and was stuck in middle of no where for
... hours. Here are some troubleshooting tips from various Reddit posts... Immediate Troubleshooting Steps Battery Disconnect: Disconnect both 12V battery terminals (including the small one, if equipped) for 5-10 minutes to reset the system. Manual Park Release: Locate the manual release lever (often under a small cover near the shifter or under the steering wheel) to force it into Park. Restart Sequence: Turn the truck off, wait 1-2 minutes, and attempt to restart. Check Battery Voltage: A weak battery (under ) can cause shifter interlock issues.Read more

This has been reported one time before but the situation has gotten worse when driving at approximately 60ish miles per hour but it starts doing it about between 50 and 70 mph when driving and the car is using the regular engine not the EV section. You will randomly lose the ability to accelerate and you have to remove your foot from the gas let the engine slow and then re-accelerate now for the s
... econd time as I'm driving I lose the ability to accelerate at all and no matter what I do the car will slow almost every warning light on the dash comes on and there are 11 different warnings I've uploaded photos of a few I have a video though also and you lose complete power and ability to drive warning lights such as power steering problem emissions problem powertrain problem all of those are part of what turns on if you try to move the vehicle it will not move unless it is an EV mode and even then it only works for several feet but you can't get over a few miles per hour if you are on the highway like I was going 65 mph and there's traffic is extremely dangerous the only reason I was not hit was because I turn my emergency lights on and was able to maneuver my vehicle to the shoulder safely had I been in a more busy section of the road or had I been in an area where I could not get off the road I would have been hit by another vehicle. Honda has stated they can't find anything wrong with the vehicle but a quick Google search shows that this is a common issue and I have a video of the dash with all the warning lights should anyone need it as well as photos.Read more

My husband, [XXX] son, my [XXX] mother-in-law, and I were traveling on the expressway at approximately 70 miles per hour in our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the 5.3L engine when the dashboard suddenly lit up with warning lights and alarms. My husband looked in the rear-view mirror and saw a large amount of smoke coming from the truck. We immediately had to cross two lanes of heavy traffic t
... o reach the shoulder and get off the roadway safely. When I opened my door, I could see that engine oil was pouring from the truck and running down the expressway. We were stranded on the side of the expressway for over an hour before my brother was able to come pick us up. The tow truck company advised that it would take several hours before they could arrive. During that time, vehicles continued traveling at highway speeds and did not slow down despite our disabled truck being on the shoulder. The truck was shaking from the wind and force of cars and trucks passing by at high speeds. This created an extremely dangerous situation, particularly with our [XXX] child and my elderly mother-in-law in the vehicle. The truck was eventually towed to a local repair shop, where the mechanic determined that the engine oil cooler line had broken at the crimp, causing a significant oil leak. The repair required replacement of the oil cooler lines and related components at a cost of $2,109.92. Had we continued driving even briefly, the engine likely could have been severely damaged or destroyed due to the rapid loss of oil. This appears to match the known issue described in GM Customer Satisfaction Program N212326940 regarding oil cooler lines detaching from the crimp on 2019 Chevrolet Silverado trucks. Shortly after purchasing a new 2026 Ram 3500 in January 2026, the vehicle began displaying multiple safety warnings simultaneously while driving. Warning indicators included Check Engine, ABS, Brake, Traction Control, Electronic Stability Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking, along with a “Service Electronic Stability Control” message. The vehicle had very low mi
... leage when the issue first occurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealership for diagnosis and repair. The dealership indicated the concern involved rear wheel speed sensor(s) and the vehicle’s electronic control systems (including a Body Control Module software update). Multiple repair attempts were required, including sensor replacement(s) and software updates, with manufacturer engineering involvement. The dealership and engineering instructed extended test driving (hundreds of miles total) to verify the repair. A particularly concerning element is that a replacement sensor reportedly failed without producing a diagnostic code, meaning the driver may have no warning that a critical component failed until safety systems disable or the vehicle behaves erratically. When the issue occurs, multiple safety systems are impacted at the same time, including ABS braking, stability control, traction control, and AEB/forward collision systems. Multiple safety systems disabled simultaneously. Dealership personnel also indicated that these wheel speed sensors are experiencing widespread failures and that replacement sensors can fail again shortly after installation as they have a 67% failure rate, which raises concern that this may represent a broader manufacturing or component defect affecting multiple vehicles. This complaint is submitted to document a potential safety defect affecting braking, stability control, and driver assistance systems.Read more

Since taking delivery of my 2026 Tesla Model Y, the driver's seat seatback rocks forward and backward during normal acceleration and braking. The movement is both audible (squeaking/creaking) and tactile — the seat physically shifts under the driver's weight during vehicle operation. This is not an intermittent or minor issue; it occurs consistently every time the vehicle accelerates from a stop
... or decelerates. A rocking driver's seat is a safety concern. The driver's seating position directly affects their ability to control the steering wheel, reach pedals accurately, and be properly restrained by the seatbelt and airbag system in the event of a collision. A seat that moves unexpectedly during normal driving undermines all of these functions. I am requesting NHTSA investigate whether this defect is present across 2026 Model Y vehicles beyond the scope of recall SB-25-13-003, and whether Tesla's practice of charging diagnostic fees for safety-related warranty claims warrants further regulatory action."Read more

Mac advised me to contact Nissan's Manufacturing department for assistance. I subsequently contacted Nissan's Compliance Department and opened a case with case number #[XXX]. Given that we have only had the vehicle for three weeks, I am disappointed that we are still experiencing this issue and that no resolution has been found. When driving at speeds over 45 mph and making turns (eg on high ways) the van will sway and rock. I have installed new shocks, had an alignment, had ball joints and sway bars inspected, and had tires restated. I’m wondering if there is some sort of an issue with the electronic assist power steering that senses g forces and compensates inappropriately. It is extremely dangerous and we have nearly

RAM 3500 truck was purchased in Ventura, CA and has experienced multiple electrical and drivetrain failures beginning shortly after purchase. In January 2025 while traveling in Oregon, the infotainment system repeatedly blacked out and the cruise control button stopped functioning. A dealership replaced the cruise control button, restoring cruise control, but the infotainment problem remained. Whe
... n the vehicle was returned after the repair, a new defect appeared: the horn button no longer worked. Loss of the horn creates a safety risk because the driver cannot warn other vehicles or pedestrians. Around 20,000 miles during a routine service visit at the selling dealership in Ventura, we reported a driveline vibration. The dealership and the upfitter inspected the vehicle and observed tire cupping. They checked the tires for premature wear and recommended overinflating tires as a remedy. The vibration continued and worsened, the infotainment failures persisted. In October 2025 while driving in Wyoming, the vehicle experienced a major drivetrain failure involving the front differential and axle assembly and required towing. The truck was first towed to the Yeti dealership in Afton, Wyoming, which closed shortly after the vehicle arrived. The truck then had to be towed again to Yeti dealership in Jackson Hole. There, technicians diagnosed front differential and axle assembly as the primary failure and also observed premature wear on aftermarket shocks installed by the upfitter. Technicians indicated the differential assembly was not readily available and would require special order. The vehicle was later transferred to another dealership in Dodge City for repair, but the differential components were not immediately inspected or ordered, causing additional delay. The vehicle remains out of service awaiting drivetrain repair. Safety concerns include horn failure, repeated electrical malfunctions, and drivetrain failure while driving.Read more
