The passenger front seat airbag sensor is malfunctioning on a large number of these vehicles. Doing an Internet search for my fault code, 93C3 reveals a lot of discussion about the problem. there had been a recall on earlier Mini Coopers for the same problem. I suspect they have not solved the problem and there should be a recall for this R 56 model.

I was able to cost to a stop. I was at my limit. I called Matt and said come and get this vehicle. I want Chevy to take it back. They kept the vehicle for almost 2 weeks. Matt said he personally drove it home and it was fixed. I picked it up and I have not had any issues for about 8 months or. Now my power train warranty is expired and my vehicle is again doing the same things it was when I took it in at 40k. It now has 85k. It is hard shifting in 1st and 2nd. It is rolling when in drive. I also have had many body parts that have come off etc. I called Chevy today to again get my service records. I stil have not gotten them. I just want a reliable vehicle. I’m contacting the DMV automotive facilities inspector to file a complaint on the dealership and will be contacting a lawyer regarding a class action lawsuit unless I get a resolution to this issue. My Nissan Versa 2024 began going into “limp mode” and the power is significantly reduced. The car barely accelerates and only on flat surfaces when this happens. The check engine light came on and I took it to the dealership and they changed the cam shaft sensor they believed to be the problem, however, when I drove it off the lot the power was still reduced and not what it is normally like. ... took the car back and they told me it was unnecessary to drive it and it wouldn’t help them they know what’s going on. However, a few days later they decided to test drive it when it was working properly and they stated no problems with the vehicle. Nissan was contacted through the dealership and it was explained to me that the car is glitching and sending an unnecessary code causing the problem, but there is actually nothing wrong with the car and there’s nothing they can do. I drove the car in limp mode on the way home and it was dangerous merging on the highway going 35mph until it can pick up speed going down hill. Lack of acceleration and power pose a safety hazard for me and the people driving around me. This has all happened with a brand new car under 1000miles. This is similar to NHTSA Complaint # 11570577. The engine showed no driver-visible warning indicators of imminent failure. This is a cause for concern as engine failure while driving will lead to loss of power steering and brake assist systems. These are safety critical systems and can cause an accident if rendered inoperable while in motion.Read more
