The fuse blew for the 12v power port (cigarette lighter type) in the back hatch area of our 2021 Mustang Mach E. We went to try and replace it. Couldn't find the fuse panel anywhere. Researched it online and discovered it was under plastic panels in the frunk. I didn't want to break a panel so I went to the local dealer. We removed 4 or 5 panels and finally found the fuse box but we still couldn't

There is a small panel you can open but this only exposes the back of the fuse box where the connectors are. The dealer couldn't do it either with casual help. They said I need to make an appointment for a technician to block some repair time to replace the blown fuse. This is a terrible safety problem. If a key fuse blows when a dealer technician isn't available, the car could be very unsafe with no way to remedy this. In 50 years of owning cars I've never seen one with a completely inaccessible fusebox. It is true of this car.Read more

I am writing this letter about a vehicle I purchased in November 2023. The vehicle purchased was a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Diesel from Rick Chevrolet in Virginia Beach VA. The truck has many defects. The first month I took it back for a leaking tire, broken windshield, oil leak and because it drove funny and I did not know what was wrong with it, but I knew something was wrong. I left it in Norfolk until the next morning because I could not get a tow truck to come out that night. I had my truck towed to Dodge, Ram and FIAT in Norfolk VA. They told me the Tie Rod, Axle, had broken. The Dealer then, told me that the truck would not align so they sent it to the Collision Center. The collision center told me that the truck had a bent frame and it did not happen due to the pothole. That the truck was a death trap and I need not to drive it that the dealer should not have sold me that truck. I went and talked to the Manager at Rick Chevrolet named Kerry and he said we could swap the truck, but I had to make a down payment of an excessive amount due to my credit. I did not know that this truck was a nightmare and I feel why should I have to pay for someone selling me a truck that can kill me and whoever is riding with me. I bought the truck because they are supposed to be safe. This is ridiculous and the dealership is not trying to help me out of this by putting me in a safe vehicle. I am paying for something that is going to cause me bodily harm or my life, and they want me to pay more to get into a safe vehicle. This truck should not have been sold and because it was, they need to take responsibility and swap me out of this death trap. Can you please look into this matter. On July 28th 2024, I took my new 2023 Hyundai Elantra to its first oil change at a Take 5 oil change center. They replaced the oil, filter, checked the fluid levels in my car, and topped the fluids off. That evening, I noticed there was a liquid leaking from behind the passenger side tire, and at first thought it was water from the A/C, but in the morning, I noticed a puddle of liquid was under th

The worker checked and said my coolant reservoir was completely empty, and he refilled the coolant and told me to take it to be diagnosed at a full service auto center. On August 13th I noticed there was a smell of burning metal coming from the engine bay when I turned the car on and took it to a Firestone where they informed me that the radiator cap had failed and was no longer holding the pressure in the radiator, and that almost all the coolant had leaked from my car. I had the radiator cap replaced and kept the original to take to the Hyundai dealership to see if this was a manufacturers defect or the result of improper handling by the Take 5 worker.Read more

While driving home from work, the Nissan went from 50mph, suddenly down to 4mph. (literally 4mph) Pressing the gas down all the way would not allow the car to move any faster. The dealer, asking like it was an oil change, asked if I wanted a new $9k transmission. As I can't afford anywhere near that, nor is the car worth it, I was required to drive it home from the dealership, again putting my life at risk. IN ADDITION - a recall repair was requested (the driver door wiring harness) - and the dealership told me that it was completed. They did not complete this recall either. Nissan should not be allowed to make vehicles in the USA. If they actually stood behind their product and made repairs and replacements when there are manufacturing issues, I would feel much better about the situation. Hyundai has to know of the issue, but refuses to make corrections to the problem which sticks people with huge bills to correct a problem they know exists. Hyundai only repairs one injector at a time; refusing to do all 4 despite being a heavily documented issue on this make/model. This would be able to be confirmed by request. This was also confirmed both times by two separate independent service centers. Vehicle has about 25,000 miles on it and has had 3 check engine lights over the past 3 years of owning- it was bought new. The first time was 2 days of owning and it was a bad IAT that resulted in engine stalling once again. While driving I received a ‘Engine Failure, Service Now’ notification; however, the check engine light was not on. I immediately called a ford dealership and said it was fine. I did not trust it and took it to an O’Reilley’s store to get a free diagnostics, everything was cleared. The next morning I still went to the dealership to ask. After charging me $200 they did it and found coolant leaking into the engine and cylinders. Car still runs but it did not make me feel safe driving with the notification and the rest of the diagnostics showing zero issues was extremely suspicious. They told me my engine needed to be replaced. I researched the issue and found Ford notified widely this issue in early 2020 and ford dealership sold me this in late 2020 and never told me about said issue or notification. I was told there is a program to get it fixed but is not active anymore. On too of that, ford had a warning on my car VIN number for two years and they never notified me of it during service appointments for the last 2 to 4 years I have been going there. I do not feel safe driving my car and ford won’t do any repairs about it even after they admitted to me it was a manufacturing fault and my car is under that block/build affected.Read more

The problem was identified approximately August 2023 and they claim there is no remedy for the problem as of today. However, they are selling the 2024 identical models without the issue. This means they have fixed the problem and not trying to remedy the problem in the vehicles that are already sold.
