My Tesla has been displayed a warning error message "Front passenger restraint system fault". This is a safety issue, I searched online and it looks like this is a common problem for the 2017-2019 Tesla Model 3. Many of the owners were fortunate if the issue happened before the expiration of the warranty which Tesla fixed it for free. However, this issue happened after warranty expired. I took
... the car to service center, they estimated the fix would cost over $3200 (see attached). Tesla claimed that the fraudulent module cannot be replaced as it's no longer support the older version of the airbag system. To fix the problem, it will have to replace the airbag, seat cushion and harness system. This is clearly a defect with the original equipment where manufacture does not support or provide replace with original parts.Read more

Hello, I was driving on Highway 99 three days ago and my truck came to an abrupt halt after making some horrible engine noises. Anyway, if you have any idea how I should move forward after that frightening experience losing all power to my truck, the dash turned red, no oil pressure no anything is what it was saying. I was able to get a tow truck to bring the vehicle to my home where it sits now and it’s been two months since I’ve really had a vehicle. I had to make an emergency run to get two bales of hay for my animals. I paid the registration, but I don’t have the tags because it will not pass smog.Read more

My Kia EV6, AWD Wind has the exact problem described in this Ionic 5 video, [XXX] , which addresses your TSB 24-EV-003H. It appears my EV6 uses the same electric oil pump (EOP) as the Ionic 5, so I am not sure why the EV6 was not included in your TSB? ... mooth. After researching it on the Internet and purchasing some diagnostic tools, I figured out, that when I start driving the car there is a demand signal for the EOP but the pump has no rpm, no torque and no DC current. Depending on driving conditions, it appears the rear motor stops propelling the car when it reaches 190 to 205 degrees and the front motor kicks in to do all the propulsion. Under the front motor propulsion, the car has a definite “lag” in responsiveness which I consider extremely unsafe as I expect to get an instantaneous response when I step on the accelerator not a lethargic response with no “zip”. It is similar to the difference between a turbojet engine and a turbofan engine. It has been to my Kia dealership’s service dept where they told me they duplicated the the switch from the rear to the front motor but after talking to Kia this condition was “normal” as the computer calculated this was the most efficient operation of the car I said that was BS and asked them if they checked the oil pump and was told yes. Bottom line, it’s the same EOP as the Ionic 5 and the EV6 has the same problems with it except there is no displayed fault code so Kia fails to acknowledge the problem. Also, based on what I see when the motors switch, the on board screen display shows the front motor with 5-7 bars of whatever the measurement is and the rear motor has only 1 or 0 bars but the OBD data shows both motors with the same rpm? Three EV6 problems: EOP inoperative, no fault code, data disconnect (OBD vs displayed data). INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

I finally found a place to report issues with my 2023 Ram ProMaster 3500. I have experienced different issues with this vehicle. The turn indicator failure first started around 8000 miles. The door ajar light for the sliding door started around 35000 miles. What I believe is the traction control, has been an ongoing issue unsure of when it started, but is the most common issue. 1) Multiple times,
... the left turn signal randomly fails, the bulb indicator light turns on. The front left and mirror signal don't work. While the rear one does. Then out of nowhere, it starts to work again. Has happened multiple times. 2) multiple times right side sliding door sensor fails. Can be up to 2 hours after driving, the door ajar symbol comes on. Making the user interface unusable. Stop the van, open and close the door, it clears it. Then shortly later, the door ajar indicator comes on. And with the door ajar light illuminated, it does not allow the doors to be locked. 3) the traction control (i believe), on one side or the other, will grab, making a grinding noise, slow the vehicle down slightly and pull it slightly in that direction. It happens on any surface type, dry, wet, or icy. And happens at highway speeds, 50-80 mph. I've notice it happen a quite a few times when passing another vehicle. Which ever side the vehicle is on that you are passing, that side will grind (activate)Read more
