The vehicle has about 136,000 miles and was driving when the engine just started knocking. There were no engine warning lights or any other indications there might be an issue. We Towed the vehicle to the dealer, and they advised that it needs a new engine. We are the original owners and maintained the vehicle with regular service and oil changes.

I found out from MINI directly that there are 400 of that part in back order. My car is now in my driveway for the last two months and still no news about receiving the part. ... d the backup camera worked when I reversed out of my garage, but 12 mins later when trying to park, my backup camera video would not display. It stays on a black screen with "Camera System Failure" when in reverse, I tried parking the vehicle, turning the engine off and back on. While I waited for my service appointment at the Schomp Honda Dealership (the same dealership who performed the attempted recall fix) on Oct 2, 2024 the video from the backup camera would intermittently display (approximately 10% of the time I would see video when in reverse). The other 90% of the time, the display shows a black, sometimes flickering green image. I believe the Stop Sale/Safety Recall: 2018-2023 Multi-Model MOST Communication Error was not fixed by the service technicians at Schomp Honda Dealership for my 2019 Honda Pilot Touring. Returned truck on June 25th, 2024, received truck on June 26th, 2024 where diesel gas was spewing from my truck sitting idol in my driveway after driving it straight home from the service center. Returned on June 27th, 2024 at 7:00 AM CST after being told by the Dodge technicians that I should've drove the truck to them and that diesel has a burning point of over 1,000 degrees. They towed my truck to the shop after I refused. Received my truck at 2:30 PM EST the same day for my road trip that had been scheduled for 6 months. On July 6th, 2024, when driving my truck 4 of the 5 lug nuts broke off completely in which the tire flew off of my truck and caused a singular car accident and damage to my vehicle. We could've been seriously injured due to where we were on the road. I had additional injury to my lower back during the accident incident. We had the vehicle inspected by the California local police department as well as the licensed technician who confirmed that this was negligence by the service center who serviced my truck less than 2 weeks prior. However, I was advised that my warranty had just ended and it was no longer under warranty to be fixed and I would have to pay out of pocket. I contacted Ford Customer Support Division and they opened case number [XXX] in reference. They advised me the recall was over and to contact the NHTSA who can investigate the matter and issue a new recall for my vehicle. I am requesting an investigation into this matter and Ford be held liable to replace the transmission as a recall and refund me the $195.00 I paid for the diagnostic fee. The transmission issue has affected a large number of vehicles which Ford obviously were aware of and those owners whose issues started after the expiration date of the program should not be penalized and made to pay out of pocket especially when this is a know problem and documented problem with the Explorers manufactured out of the Chicago plant. I purchased this truck new in 2018. I soon started having problems with very hard shifting and slamming into gear. It has been to the shop and diagnosed and continues to do it. They cant seem to fix it. My ABS lights and alarm are sounding non stop. This happened within 5 miles of my warranty being up. I did diagnostics and they wont cover it and want to charge me 1500 plus i have to wait 8
... months for the part. This is an ABS issue and a safety issue! I also get the DEF failure notice telling me its going into limp mode. This has happened multiple times. I still only have 36k miles on it. I was told this ABS issue was now covered and the factory is doing extended warranties based on these problems. But the dealership says they know noting about it and that i have to bring it back in AGAIN to diagnose which i have to pay for AGAIN. I hate this truck and i have had nothing but problems and no one will help.Read more

My brake lights are constantly needing replaced. Sometimes they stay on even when I'm not braking, other times they won't come on at all when I brake. I've gotten them replaced many times but it doesn't seem to fix the problem. I've almost gotten rear ended 3 times now bc my lights have failed to come on when hitting the brakes.
