ABS Modular is malfunctioning and recommended to be replaced. I have been waiting 1.5 years for this part and continue to be told it’s not available. My check engine light continues to be on and my car does not function as it should. The part is identified as needing to be fixed but no parts available. I’ve called multiple states and made over 100 calls over the year. I am stuck with a car not
... functioning correctly and told by RAM that I just need to wait. Thousands of people are waiting for this part I am told and other years have been recalled but not my year somehow. This is dangerous and my hands are tied. I am putting my family in danger daily driving or am out 20+k on a vehicle I can’t drive. This is ridiculous and not a decision I thought I’d have to make with a well known company like Ram.Read more

I previously filed a complaint on this car about the sticky steering. I understand Honda has recalled many cars for this same problem on model years 2020-2023. Why would they not recall my 2017 civic with this very same steering issue. It IS a safety issue, especially at highway speeds.

Automatic auto off-on began to fail and car didn't start well. I began to disable the automatic auto on off while driving because it began to sound like it would stall out while stopped at a traffic light . Then I forgot to disable the automatic auto off on and car stalled out while stopped at a traffic light. I took it to dealer, Rafferty Subaru, they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Then
... a few days later check engine light and other icons started flashing on dashboard. I took it to dealer, they said the gas cap was off. For the next week the automatic auto off on sounded like it would fail so I disabled it, the car didn't start normally every morning, and it began to feel like it didn't shift correctly as I accelerated or slowed down. About one day later it suddenly lurched to almost a stop while driving, check engine light was flashing, other icons on dashboard were flashing, the Park Brake icon started flashing. The engine continued to run but I couldn't go more than 2 mph. I put it in park and it started to smell like something was burning so I turned it off. I had to have it towed to the dealer, Rafferty Subaru.Read more

Honda is denying any responsibility at the moment, refuses to help me via phone calls or email defaulting to the response of "Your car isn't under warranty." even though they have acknowledged issues and provided coverage for different models AND Canada covers my situation unlike the USA: [XXX] Had I know about this defect with my car with an official statement from Honda, it would have impacted my choices back in 2020 and 2021. I would of sold it around 2021 or contacted Honda earlier to settle these issues that would of happened under the extended warranty if I was given one. I would like to express a concern with how Jeep is handing the issue with the hybrid batteries in the Wrangler 4XE. I'm connected with the 4XE across the US and Canada and I am seeing issues with how they are addressing the potential for fires in the batteries. In my case, my Jeep was initially part of the B9A recall but was removed from the list. I was on the 04B recall list and had that update
... performed. A few months later, my battery triggered the P0BBD code that indicated that I needed a new battery. We have seen this trend in the 4XE community where someone who wasn't on the B9A list ended up having a battery issue. Some of these instances include Jeeps that were on the 04B list but had yet to receive that update because Jeep communicated that it was a "defrost" recall without telling customers that they were receiving the same updates that were included in the B9A. So some people are putting off a very important recall because they believe it is just a defrost recall. After I had my battery replaced, the latest 95B recall was issued. My Jeep is on this recall list even though I just had a new battery installed. It would sure seem like the issue with the separators in the battery would have already been known when my new battery was installed. To me, that is an unsafe mishandling of the situation to put a known faulty battery in during a replacement. I do not feel that Jeep is handing these battery issues well and I believe they need some sort of accountability in place to make sure they are truly resolving the issue and not putting band aids on a major issue. We have tracked some data in the 4XE community and are aware that way more batteries were impacted than Jeep announced would be. As well, many batteries have had to be replaced after the recall. This tell me that either Jeep isn't being very forthcoming with the data or they just don't know the correct method for addressing this matter. We need something done before someone gets hurt or killed.Read more

On Saturday October 5th at roughly 8:30 p.m. heading West on I-94 near battle creek, MI, the glass sunroof on our Mercedes suddenly exploded out and shattered. We were traveling at 75 mph with little surrounding traffic and no over-head obstructions. It took a second to re-gain control of the situation and slow down to a stop. We had the sun-shade closed, saving us from glass shards raining dow
... n from the exploded sunroof. The following Monday morning, Oct 7th around 9:00 a.m., we called Mercedes about the issue. They were indifferent and offered no assistance. They pointed out that our MY2020 with 29,711 miles on the odo was not covered under warranty for the sunroof shattering and that we would have to deal with our insurance company. They also informed us that they would not have any rental cars available during a repair until at least December. We mentioned that there was signs on the internet of class-actions against Mercedes for similar sunglass explosions to which they quickly responded with - not on MY20 300 GLC. We did get the sunroof replaced through our insurance. Anecdotely, when we took it into the glass repair shop, they had just did another one, similar situation the week before. This could have been tragic. Glass shards could have been everywhere. The only reason the sunscreen was deployed was that we had our baby granddaughter in the car only 1 hour earlier. Otherwise, that screen would have been open and the glass would have rained down on everyone in the car.Read more

Incident date: Sep 16, 2024
Under normal driving conditions, I have experienced extended brake pedal travel while braking, accompanied by the activation of the ABS, brake, and traction control warning lights. This issue has recurred multiple times over the past year while driving at speeds up to 65 mph, typically lasting for several days until the warning lights reset and hydraulic/regenerative braking is restored. The failu
... re of the hydraulic braking system poses a significant threat not only to my safety but also to the safety of everyone on the road. Without reliable brakes, the ability to stop effectively is compromised, increasing the risk of accidents and endangering both myself and others nearby. Most recently, this problem persisted for over two weeks. The vehicle was inspected at a Ford dealership, which determined that the ABS module had failed and required replacement. The vehicle is available for further inspection upon request. This failure of the ABS module could be linked to the same issue previously recalled in the gas model of the Ford Fusion (Ford Motor Company Recall No. 19S54), where the DOT3 brake fluid causes a normally closed valve to remain stuck open in the brake system’s hydraulic control unit (HCU). Alarmingly, the Ford Fusion hybrid model was excluded from this recall, despite exhibiting the same dangerous braking issues. In November 2018, the NHTSA recommended a safety recall for this concern due to its serious nature. Ford’s "Customer Satisfaction Program 21N11" acknowledges the gravity of the situation but excludes hybrid models, placing the financial burden of essential repairs on owners. I urge the NHTSA to take immediate action to address this safety issue for all affected vehicles, including the Ford Fusion hybrid, and implement a recall to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers.Read more

The faux metal ring around the cupholders on the center console has been cracking since the date of purchase and it finally caught on a cup and broke and has cut myself and my child several times. I had to end up ripping the trim off just to be able to use the cupholders. Lastly, the car seems like it's not gaining enough power sometimes. The Forward Collision Assist would intermittently disable during driving. I contacted Hyundai America to report this issue and currently waiting on a response from their warranty to see if they will cover all or a percentage of the replacement of the steering column since my mileage is over their 100k (113k to be exact) coverage. While I appreciate their efforts, I also feel this could have resulted in a very serious incident had my daughter been driving on the highway when this occurred. Thankfully, she was picking me from home and it happened as we drove off from our house in our neighborhood. A steering column should outlast any other part(s) of a vehicle. If not, this is a huge safety concern. My [XXX] was also in the car at the time and I cannot even imagine how I would recover if something worse were to happen while he's on board. I bought a brand new Yukon Denali in 2021. In 2022 at 12,000 miles, the car was riding extremely rough. It was diagnosed as a transmission issue and the transmission was rebuilt after 90 days in the service department at a GMC dealer. Later in 2022, I started getting low oil lights on the dash. The car was brought back to GMC and I was told that there aren't any leaks evident so nothing was do

Last week, the car started shaking violently while driving, with multiple warning lights appearing on the dash. Finally the car just died and I had it towed to yet another GMC dealership. This time I was told that the bearings, piston rings and lifters were all to blame and the car needed a new engine. Of course, now the car is out of warranty. GMC needs to remedy the engine issues in the 2021 models. There are MANY reports of this happening with this engine.Read more
