I produced records for oil changes and receipts for first 3 oil changes but couldn’t for last 3. Engine had 42,000 miles. With all of the system warnings misfiring and no way to reset or check which are legitimate versus a complication, I am putting myself and others at risk if I drive. I will not know if there is a true issue with a tire, my engine, my brakes... I need my car but am wary of driving it now to keep myself and others safe. It also makes some features inaccessible (i.e., cruise control). I conducted further research prior to taking it to the dealership to better understand the potential cause and what could be done. After conducting that research, it seems this is a VERY common and fairly well-known issue. I have linked one of several forums demonstrating the scope of this issue. Before I heard about the recall, about 1 week prior while we were on the highway my son was as in his car seat and we were about few mile to our destination his door unlocked and opened. We had to pull over to close it and was very alarmed.
