I have a full service AUL warranty and had vehicle checked at certified dealership and no codes were recorded. I replaced battery and the problem is still happening. The car has remained in their shop since 02/28/2025, BMW dealer informed us that they are waiting to receive a "battery"; however, supply issues are to blame according to them. To date, the have not provided us with a concrete timeline regarding repairs and no clear explanation about the issue. This malfunction has been extensively documented in internet forums and complains regarding the issue are abundant. BMW and their dealers are fully aware of the issue. Our local BMW dealer advised us to bring the car to their own car wash after the initial malfunction, they are aware of the well documented defect in the fin antenna housing/sealant. This is completely unacceptable and I’ve lost complete trust and confidence in this manufacturer’s ability to make a defective dangerous car seat right. Now I have a dangerous and defective car seat and the manufacturer will not reimburse me for a new one, send me a new replacement seat, or even provide me with a remedy kit in a timely manner. The car will drop into neutral while on the highway. This happens mostly when trying to accelerate to merge into traffic, down shifting to pass someone etc. Once the car goes into neutral you lose all power. While traveling down I-95 at 65 mph the truck shut down without warning. Extremely dangerous situation. The Cadillac dealership took the truck in and replaced the entire engine. The power steering on my 2008 Mazda 3 went out. I took it to a mechanic shop who diagnosed the power steering pump is creating pressure that is getting to the rack and pinion and the fluid is just bouncing off of the rack and pinion and the computer system does not know how to function, so the power steering is not working.
