Backing out of a parking space, the car automatically stopped as it should when approaching a curb. When I put the car back in drive and let off the brake, it lurched forward, I then hit the brake and it continued to accelerate for about 20 feet and hit a granite wall.

Due to a problem with my car engine, the car would not accelerate and would move slowly despite pressing on the pedal. The car screen indicated that it was PCM problem (the gas would not come up) and it was a reduced engine problem. The car not accelerating despite pressing the pedal can pose serious safety problems. I have not taken the car to a dealer to repair yet.

In April 2022, the timing cover seal on my 2016 Lexus ES 350 was replaced due to a leak. This was completed under warranty at approximately 84,785 miles. In February 2025, less than three years and roughly 56,000 miles later, I was informed by the same Lexus dealership during a routine service that the exact same issue—leaking from the timing cover—had reoccurred. ... engine performance issues, or visible signs of oil loss leading up to this. During my prior service appointment in December 2024, I was told the car was in excellent condition with no issues. I service my vehicle at every Lexus-recommended interval and maintain a full history of service records. The dealership has confirmed the new timing cover leak but has not been able to explain why the seal failed again. This is a major engine component that should not require a second repair within such a short time frame. I am now being asked to pay a significant portion of a nearly $5,000 repair despite a prior warranty fix, and despite having done nothing to cause or accelerate the failure. Lexus offered a partial goodwill credit, but no root cause has been identified. I am concerned that either poor workmanship or substandard parts contributed to the premature failure, and that it may happen again. Given the cost, critical nature of the part, and the lack of answers, this feels like more than just an isolated incident. I have complete service documentation and before-and-after video footage of the most recent repair. The vehicle is currently in my possession and available for inspection upon request. I purchased a Lexus because I believed in the brand’s commitment to long-term reliability and quality. That confidence has been shaken. I was driving down the highway when I started to hear a knocking sound at certain RPM. No check engine light and I was unable to safely pull over. As I continued driving looking for a safe place to park the vehicle, within a few minutes the noise in the engine got worse and then suddenly the vehicle completely lost power and would only drive in limp mode. ... ramp and get the vehicle into a gas station parking lot. I called for a tow truck and had the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership. At the dealership they inspected the vehicle and found that it was damaged similar to the Safety recall related to NHTSA Action Number: RQ24013 and advised me to have it towed Calgary Honda. I called the Honda Dealership and they informed me that it did not qualify for the recall at the time but the issue sounded familiar. I had them and the current dealership quote me the pricing and decided that I would proceed with the repair from Honda directly. It took awhile to get a replacement engine in and I had to wait several weeks but I was finally able to have it replaced at Calgary Honda in November of 2024. It cost me $10,000 to replace the engine as well as have the work done to repair the alignment after the power failure and replace the battery due to the vehicle sitting for weeks in the cold. I believe my vehicle is part of the same issues as: NHTSA Action Number: RQ24013 and wanted to submit my report to hopefully get reimbursed by Honda for the engine and all other costs associated with the RecallRead more

... ne the center console but placing your hand and fingers on the panel you accidentally select features or controls - this is dangerous because you hit things that you don't want and is distracting. the entertainment system does not have the features they represent that they do and you are constantly distracted with trying to find a feature that it doesn't have or can't find; using the phone will not allow you to use the keypad until stopped. so what you end up doing is using your iPhone which becomes a safety issue. there are so many problems that I can't message all. If you can give me a link I can't send or upload about 50 videos. I think all around to use the center counsel because hazardous design as to how to use a feature - it's a massive safety issue and hazard. I believe that many owners have been in accidents and caused damages and perhaps deaths. Porsche will not respond after the first call a few months ago. I was told by a dealer to contact the BBB - they told me that Porsche cars of America has a D minus rating and never has responded to customer complaints. Renton Tesla couldn’t replicate it and suggested a wheel alignment, which I paid for. On November 30, 2022, I took the car to Tesla of Bellevue, where they diagnosed worn-out suspension and made repairs, ordering additional parts. On January 9, 2023, Tesla replaced the Drive Unit during follow-up work. On [XXX], the knocking noise returned, but Tesla Bellevue couldn’t replicate the issue, providing no solution. On [XXX], I returned with the ongoing issue. Tesla again identified the problem as halfshaft-related and replaced the parts. Frustrated with no permanent fix, I requested they either find a long-term solution or initiate a buy-back. Tesla completed repairs, left voicemails to pick up the car, and failed to address my buy-back request. On December 5, 2024, Ludee, Tesla’s Bellevue manager, emailed threatening storage fees and impounding if I didn’t retrieve the car. I repeated my request for a buy-back over safety concerns but received another demand letter on December 12, threatening towing and impound charges if I didn’t pick up the vehicle by December 18. Tesla has known about this issue since November 2021 and has only offered temporary fixes despite verbal acknowledgment of the problem. It is not cosmetic but a significant safety concern, with axle noise pointing to potential frame and drive component faults. After investigation by Fidelity Warranty and a certified Honda dealership, it was determined that the engine failure was caused by an improperly tightened drain plug and crush washer, leading to a complete loss of engine lubrication. Despite providing substantial evidence and attempting to resolve the matter, Indy Honda has refused to take responsibility for the damages. This failure created a hazardous situation while driving at high speeds on the interstate, posing significant risks to my safety. ... as faulty and needed to be replaced. The floor shifter harness was replaced and the failure was remedied, but approximately two years later the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the local dealer. The contact was informed of the manufacturer's TSB to repair the failure and a new and improved floor shifter harness was installed which corrected the failure. Purchased this vehicle from a used car dealership 2 months ago. Now the transmission seems to be going out with 132,000 miles on it and funny noise from the transfer case. I have researched and found numerous complaints about the drive train on this vehicle and as a disabled veteran I don't have the funds to have it fixed. How can I get a recall in place for this issue?

My car was hit by another car in front left corner and side door at very high impact. Car has severe damaged and it is totaled now. Air bags on the driver side did not deploy even at such high impact. No air bags were deployed. There was only one person, myself driver, in the car. Police came and investigated the accident and filed report. I have also submitted the air bags issue to Tesla.

The current issues with my recently purchased used vehicle are as follows: Clutch, odometer tampering, steering rack, 2 axle leaks, electrical issues, inspection issues. I tried to see if the dealership that I bought the car from is willing to fix these issues they keep going back and forth with me on these issues even though I just recently purchased the car stating that I have to pay for it. ... purchased this car [XXX]. There were several issues with this car prior to purchase that were not disclosed when I purchased it. The dealership that I bought the car from, highline car connection/Yankee Auto sales, insisted we buy an extended warranty. Upon inspection at Dan Perkins Subaru, one of the biggest safety issues with this vehicle is the clutch, I was informed that the clutch cover was missing and there were aftermarket bolts used, I was informed that the clutch is a normal wear and tear item such as an oil change and because of these two issues my warranty will not cover fixing the clutch. As you can see in my documents I just recently purchased this vehicle and had it for 28 days. I also noticed that there was odometer tampering, I reviewed the paperwork the dealership gave me for the carfax report and I went online to retrieve my own carfax report, there are several discrepancies in which I included with my documents. My vehicle has been in the shop since December 6th 2024 it is not safe to drive on the road in the condition it is which is the same condition the car was sold to me in. For the last week I have been going back and forth with the original dealership the insurance company Allstate with the warranty and Dan Perkins Subaru trying to figure out a way to get my car safe on the road and no one is willing to assist me properly.
