On March 30, 2023 I had my winter tires and wheels changed out for my summer tires and wheels Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 in sizes 265/35ZR21 101Y XLand 305/30ZR21 104Y XL. At the time, I had about 25,000 miles on the car, and perhaps 15,000 miles on the summer tires. The tire inspection report from Porsche indicated that I had acceptable tread depth on all tires, and no unusual treadwear. A
... round the end of June I started seeing a very slow pressure decrease in my left rear tire, from about 41psi to 38 psi over a few weeks. On July 18, I experienced a severe drop in pressure to 22 psi and I filled the tire with air to 45psi and used the tire sealant to drive the car to the Porsche dealer, and arrived with 29psi. At no point during the time I had the summer tires on did I ever do anything unusual, or hit any road hazards. Porsche provided me the attached video showing severe cracking between the sidewall and tread around the entire diameter of the drivers side rear, and cracking around part of the diameter of the passenger rear. They claimed this was due to 'misalignment' of the rear tires. The alignment report (attached) shows the drivers rear was within specification, and the passenger rear was 0.2 degrees out of camber (-1.8 deg vs spec of -1.6 deg). There was still 4mm of tread on the tire, and no unusual tread wear was noted on any tires. I have replaced all 4 tires, and am very concerned that the same thing may happen, and I could have a catastrophic failure at high speed. Porsche is unwilling to do anything other than pay for the drivers tire. I don't see how I can be assured that the exact same thing won't happen in the future, since there was no testing or observation that Porsche did that indicated any kind of problem.Read more

The front end of the vehicle and wheels start to violently oscillate at speeds between 50-60 mph. Sometimes it occurs after hitting a small bump and often occurs over smooth roads. For the second year in a row, we took a rock to our windshield from a truck and had to have the windshield replaced. The problem seems to be the bad mudflaps on especially semi-trucks or other trucks. Many trucks are missing the mudflaps or they are so thin, they blow upward by the wind. After inspecting they came back saying that they called Honda and it was a different part (unknown) but described as more of the control computer for the car. They placed the part on order, but said that another customer had the part on order for over 4 months at that time with no ETA. Six weeks later, without an incident, the car started alarming again on a hot day. Dashboard lights lighting up, clicking in steering wheel, etc. I drove the car for a few errands just fine, until I went to pull out onto a US Hwy and the clicking began, lights flashed, and the car felt as if it stalled as I was entering the road. Suddenly, it couldn't go more than 2 or 3 MPH, although speedometer wasn't working. I was able to stop it and reverse back (2-3 MPH) into the driveway quickly just before oncoming traffic hit me. When the clicking and flashing stopped, the info screen went through every car system alphabetically and listed "Problem" afterwards. I couldn't get the car to drive normally after turning it on/off several times. I disconnected the battery and that stopped the problem. Two weeks later, dealer said part was in so I scheduled replacement. Dealer replaced "Keyless Access Control Unit" despite telling me 2 months beforehand that it was something different. Car has been problem free since replacement, but it has not been long. Additionally, my neighbor has Pilot of similar year, and has the same exact problem of alarming/clicking, etc.Read more

I was driving on a road approaching a right turn to enter into my neighborhood that has a 3 way intersection where only cars exiting the neighborhood have a stop sign. I turned my right turn signal on as I began to slow down and approach the turn (without stopping as there is no stop sign for my path). As I was about 1/4 way into the turn, an alert for either lane keep assist or driver assistance
... warning appeared and the steering wheel suddenly could not turn and I was forced to drive straight. Luckily, there was no car waiting at the stop sign or I would have hit them. I hit the brakes and was on the wrong side of the road pointed towards the curb. I saw multiple error messages for lane keep assist and drivers assisted warning but could still not turn the wheel. I slowly drove the car forward, wrestling the wheel to turn enough so I could park on the wrong side of the road. I tried putting the car in park and then drive again but it did not help. I turned the car off and on and the errors cleared and I could turn the wheels again. I then proceeded to slowly start driving home and less than 1/4 mile later as I was rounding a gentle curve (I did not use any turn signals), the same error occurred and I suddenly could not turn the wheel so I slammed the brakes and stopped in the middle of the road. I again turned the car off and on to reset and proceeded to drive the remaining 1/4 mile home and park in my driveway. I immediately contacted the Hyundai dealer and was recommended to have the car towed to the local dealer as it was unsafe to drive. Upon towing the car to the closest dealer, I was able to back the car off the tow truck and park it. While parking, the steering locked up again and I took the attached pictures of the error messages and showed the technician. The dealers in the area all indicated they were so backed up they could not diagnose the car immediately. I called Hyundai to open a case. It has been 2 weeks and they still have not diagnosed the car.Read more

On May 15, 2023 I got in my car, proceeded to drive off when I noticed that the airbag light was still illuminated on the instrument panel. I notified the dealership the next day and dropped my car off on May 17, 2023. On May 19 a diagnostics test was run and revealed that I had a faulty seat belt buckle. I declined service on the car. ... 4000 miles and less than a year ago for the airbag light staying on again in 2022. At that time it was revealed that it was the passenger seat position sensor & it was repaired. In 2020 my car was also a part of Recall 19S25 for the seat belt. In 2018 repairs were also done on my car due to the airbag light coming on as well. I'm driving the car but now don't know if it is safe to drive. When I picked up the car, the light was still on but about 4-5 days later the light went off by itself. The passenger seat has barely been used since I purchased the car in 2015. After the repairs were done in 2022, the seat/seat belt has not been used so I don't understand how it can be faulty. It seems to me that there's a defect somewhere and it should be investigated. I would appreciate if this is given serious consideration. When I spoke with Ford Motor Company, they told me to contact you to have you investigate the matter. Took my car to Toyota dealership to get remedy J0V NHSTA recall ID NO. 18V684 Fixed. Dealership has refused to work on recall and has told me I need to pay out of pocket for repair because my car does not fall into certain codes yet it’s a specific recall that needs to be done on my vehicle
