Engine heating problems, electrical problems and now engine failure, the vehicle is no longer safe to drive. The vehicle is available for inspection. Other vehicles of same make, model, and year have been recalled for these issues however mine has not. I feel it has the same types of issues and safety concerns which should be recalled. The issues began with electrical problems inside the vehicle,
... random check engine lights coming on then off and other lights popping up in the dash board, the car was not accelerating properly, took the car in and they could not find a problem or fix it. The engine began heating and the speed of vehicle was also being affected. The car would randomly slow down quickly while on the highway at 70 MPH which happened a couple of times and was not safe at all, it could have caused a horrible accident. I could not accelerate enough to stay on the highway. That issue was fixed when we took the vehicle into the dealership to fix and should have been a recall as other cars where having the same issue. Hyundai should be held responsible for issues such as this that are affecting many other Hyundai Tucson drivers. Oil keeps depleting and the engine is burning through fast, also another concern and safety issue as that causes the engine to over heat and potentially cause a fire. A loud noise is coming from the vehicle, sounds like a helicopter it happened suddenly with no check engine light or warning. I'm concerned this car could catch fire, many Tucson's have had warning of catching fire. I don't park in our garage or even in the driveway for fear of that happening although they state ours is not supposed to be affected all these vehicle issues are telling me otherwise. Engine is now dead. This is unacceptable. Windows cannot be rolled down after multiple fixes that I paid for. Hyundai's poor production, manufacturing and quality control is unacceptable, please hold them responsible. Too much money has been spent on issues with no real results.Read more

My 2021 Tesla Model 3 shuts/powers down WITHOUT warning while driving with a battery charge >0%. This unsafe event has occurred twice now! While the battery gauge displayed 10%, I was driving about 60mph when all of these warning messages appeared prompting me to pull over. As soon as these messages displayed, my car lost all propulsion and I was left stranded in the middle of the road. Both time
... s I narrowly avoided being hit by other vehicles traveling at high speeds since my car died in the roadway. The car was towed to Tesla on both occasions, and they weren't concerned about my safety issue in the slightest. Instead, they said the battery just ran out; however my car displayed that I had about 6-10% charge remaining. So, if the battery were completely depleted (like Tesla says), then the meter should have displayed a 0% reading at the time of the breakdowns or, there is something defective with the battery/computer. Tesla service has refused to investigate the cause of the safety issue and, thus, refused to replace the EV battery (even though my car is still under the manufacturer's warranty). Electric vehicles should not die/run out of battery at 10% charge. However, my EV has done so TWICE! Tesla says that I just ran the car out of battery but has no response when I show them the pictures and video proving that the car died when there was, in fact, a decent amount of charge remaining on the vehicle (PLEASE SEE ATTACHED VIDEO AND PICTURES). If your phone died at 10%, then you would take it back to the manufacturer and demand that they fix the defective product. However, Tesla refuses to help fix my defective vehicle and just tells me that it is "operating as intended". EVs should not just lose all propulsion mid-drive. This creates an unsafe vehicle for me to drive, for my two young daughters in their car seats, and for other drivers who might hit me. I can provide other Tesla owners who have had a similar experience. Please force Tesla to take action!Read more

I purchased a used car from Carvana. It had brand new tires on the car when I took possession of it. The make and model of my car comes standard with run-flat tires because my car does not have a spare tire. I have contacted them multiple times and they won't help me. I think they should replace the tires on my car with run flat tires since I'm still driving an unsafe car. They knew the car comes standard with run flats and they knowingly replaced the tires with non run flats. Can you help me?Read more

I had a sudden dead battery in January 2023. My mechanic replaced it, and told me that Subaru had a service bulletin about a parasitic drain issue. In October, my battery died again, so my mechanic kept the car for several days, discovered that it would drain after charging, so he pulled all the fuses, individually, based on his hunch from the service bulletin, and found that the Starlink fuse w
... as the problem. (I believe it’s DCM #9). So, he pulled it, and replaced the battery again (under warranty) as it had been totally drained. He talked to Subaru, who said the fuse is back ordered around the country, and he will notify me when the part is available. He estimates it will cost about $600 to fix. My car seems fine, now, except I’ve also lost the hands free phone capability and had to buy a phone holder in the meantime, to be safe and legal. And I always have jumper cables in my car so I don’t get stuck somewhere. It seems to me that Subaru must be aware of this problem, and I think they should pay for replacing this part, as it is a very expensive fix.Read more

The specific concern pertains to the routing of sunroof water drains from the roof to the wheel well of several Porsche vehicles. In this case, the rear water drains are routed directly over fuses and other electronic components within the vehicle. One of the electronic components affected, a Park Assist Control Unit (part 95B 919 475 L), controls multiple vehicle safety functions including perime
... ter sensors and the backup camera. When this unit fails, the backup camera is blank and perimeter sensors that beep to notify the driver of potentially hidden objects (or people) close to the vehicle do not function. Such failure may jeopardize the overall safety of vehicle occupants and other road users and may affect safe operation of the vehicle. This Park Assist Control Unit has failed in my Porsche Macan on three separate occasions due to corrosion of the terminals. The Porsche Orland Park (Illinois) dealership where I took my vehicle for repair stated that the corrosion was due to leakage from the sunroof drain onto the unit. After the third failure of this unit due to corrosion, I contacted Porsche North America customer support. I was told that the corrosion of the terminals and subsequent failure of the Park Assist Control Unit was due to clogging of the sunroof water drain, causing “pooling and draining to places where it can cause damage.” Although other electronic components directly adjacent to this Unit have never had similar corrosion, there has never been evidence of water leakage inside the vehicle, and I regularly test the drains and have found no sign of blockages, I accepted Porsche North America’s explanation. They stated that “park[ing] a vehicle outside” or “driv[ing] where there are many trees” may exacerbate the issue. Unfortunately, subsequent concerns I raised regarding the tendency for these drains to clog at any time and Porsche’s decision to route a water drain in such close proximity to electronic vehicle safety systems were ignored.Read more

I recently experienced a failure of the Dash A/C on the ref RV. After calling Freightliner, Savannah to find our if they serviced Dash A/C’s, which they informed me they did, I decided to have it inspected locally to rule out a quick fix like recharge the refrigerant. The Mobile RV Mechanic, whom I have used several times previously and is very competent, troubleshot the system and found that
... the A/C compressor was not engaging. He then found that there was only .2V to the compressor clutch plug. Suspecting the PDM, he called Freightliner Tech services to determine the location of the PDM on this model. They informed him that there was a recall, FL917A, on this VIN that might well be the root of the problem. I was never informed of the recall, either by mail or during the two previous times I have had the RV into Freightliner, Savannah for other recall service or when I called to ask about Dash A/C service. I confirmed my registration with Freightliner for the Referenced VIN. The Subj recall states that if work has been performed prior to receiving the recall, Freightliner will reimburse the owner of that work. Freightliner has refused to reimburse me stating that the technican did not repair the failure. When, in fact, the real failure was Freightliner's failure to notify me of the recall and the technican did fix that. These vehicles are equipped with an automatic start/stop feature to save gas. This feature automatically turns off the engine when stopped at lights, traffic, etc. the problem is that once you apply the accelerator, it can take up to ~5 seconds for the vehicle to start moving and depending on how hard you depress the pedal, the vehicle can start very abruptly accelerating (almost to the point of w

Luckily I was able to pull over and I did not cause an accident. It also threw a code/warning light at that time. I took it back to the dealership. They assessed and reset adaptive driving module. It then lost accelleration and wouldn't engage 10th and started smoking. Took it back to dealership and they claimed all that was due to over full transmission fluid. Original problems of rough shifting, lurching, clunking still existed. I filed a report with Ford and got a case number with the concern department. This resulted in the rear end of the car being replaced??? Car still has transmission issues, with all the above mentioned issues, and now delayed acceleration in the lower gears. Enough is enough fighting about fixing it for a year, it has been in for repairs 7 times, and over 49 days of rental cars .
